Pretty much the perfect trio for a horror reaction.
The silent panicker guy...
The freakout screamer girl...
and The mellow "hehe" laughing guy
All bases covered
Exactly!!!
im a mix of all during this movie
36:17 best example. from left to right:
"SCREAMING HER ASS OFF"
"fainting......."
"hehehe" Peter Griffin style
@@schnubbel76 🤣🤣👍🏼
Trying to figure out if her reaction was genuine or a performance. Seems like purposeful overreacting. Same with the guy in the middle.
2 people: **SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS**
the other guy: ok
There's "that guy" in every group.
@@tisisajay Guess I’m “that guy”.
*Pennywise dancing*
The 2 People: *hiding behind their pillows in fear*
The other guy: *Dances along*
Come on everybody lets all do the pennywise
They have names
The scariest scene of this movie for me is when the old lady is just staring at the kid in the library and the movie doesn't focus on it.
DUDEEE! I thought this every time i see this movie and nobody saying anything of that shit!!!
timestamp?
@@UryuCifer you can see it partly at 12:35 but in the movie they kinda build up to it in the background, with the lady getting more and more sinister with each cut
YES I NOTICED TOO!! no one ever points it out but its soooo freaking creepy
Thank god somebody else thinks this. Easily the scariest part because you don't notice it right away and it's so subtle
Interesting that they highlight that it takes place every 27 years. The previous IT came out in 1990, and this came out in 2017.
That was the plan
They should release it chapter 2 at 2044
@@kazeotoko8183 ? Chapter 2 is already out?
@@TheOneWhoLikes that would suck
Lol isn’t that the same for jeepers creepers?
Rana: *Screams* " I thought this was a clown's movie I didn't sign up for this"
*Pennywise apears*
Rana: *Screams louder*
Pennywise feeds on the kids. The fear 'seasons' the meat. And part of Pennywise's influence is what causes the adults to not notice the patterns of what happens in the town and makes them begin to easily forget the traumas that happen during each feeding cycle. It is also what makes the adults seem more abusive and uncaring. Hoping you react to Chapter II very soon and don't wait until next year!
Hi Oscar, you seem like a real fan of movies and series. We film reactions on our channel too. Recently we did The Others, Halloween 78' and The Invisible Man.
Czech us out if you want...
Anet
Yeah when watching it I was thinking like so if the children were steak their fear that pennywise likes is like salt and pepper
Welp...
The clown room was actually the first scene the Pennywise clown actor shot. It was also the first time any of the kid actors saw him in full makeup; they were terrified.
Yes, that's probably when they physically saw and met him for the first time. If I remember correctly they shot the projector scene before that. So their reaction to projector slides showing Pennywise was pretty genuine.
clown room?
The stares Rana and Pat gave Mickey when he said "it wasnt that scary" KILT me
Well I would be annoyed if I was faking how scared I was for 2 hours and my freind just admitted I was overreacting.
@@mrman-yj3bn idk man the first time I watched this, I had the same reaction but I had it worse since I watched it on the big screen and in the dark. Also side note, you can easily tell those 2 are easily the scaredy-cat in the group. If you check out their reaction with other horror stuff, they’d still be hiding under a pillow.
Rana: *Screaming* I THOUGHT THIS WAS A CLOWN MOVIE! I'M NOT PREPARED FOR THIS!!
*Clown starts chasing the kid instead*
*Cue more screaming*
The scariest thing about the 90s It was Bill’s ponytail. That was grody.
🤣
lol definitely. and in the book he's bald or at least balding, so I dunno why they went for that lol
All the supernatural beings you're seeing are pennywise.
Pennywise isnt a clown he's a orange/yellow beam/sphere of light from another dimension that feeds on fear.
He takes the shape of whatever you're afraid of.
The adults in Derry are all basically under a "spell" that keeps them "oblivious" and "docile". So Pennywise can hunt freely.
Maybe should have waited for part 2 to tell them what Pennywise is.
wasn't he a alien spider thing when they go to their den in the books?
@@matheusm8239 No. The spider form is the closest the human mind can perceive IT's true form before going insane. IT's true form is technically *inside* the orange spheres of light, but OP's not wrong.
@Danii H I mean.. if they did, it would be up on Patreon.
So he's Satan. Cause even "Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light."
That kiss Ben gave Beverly...considering how much more spicy the source material gets, I'm glad the filmmakers stopped there 😬
Yeah lol, i saw the movie before i read the book and…jeez
@@jetproductions4084What did they do in the book?
Watching Rana freak the fuck out has got to be the best thing on the internet

It is a shape-shifting creature known as a Glamour who is billions of years old. Although It lived on planet Earth for many years, It originated in a void/dimension outside the regions of space known as the Macroverse. Since Its true identity is unclear, due to its shape-shifting abilities and being from another universe, Its real name and species are called Deadlights, but few know this, which is why it is referred to as IT.
never heard Rana and Pat screaming that loud ! that was great !!
Have you watched their reaction to haunting of hill House? That was hilarious!
@@tisisajay i'm going to rewatch it but i only remember Pat covering his face to avoid jumpscare
Her jumping and screaming at the scary scenes was hilarious😂😂😂
The first IT film was made for tv. So this was the first adaptation that could do the gore any level of justice. The book is a hard R.
They will never do the book version. There's just no way
R? Pfft. NC-17.
@@joshuagross3151 I heard in the book the kids "did it". The movie would be nc17 if they had kids do it in the end.
@@rocketmanart7964 Plus, they'd need to find an adult that looked like a kid.
Something I absolutely love about this adaptation in particular is the strong conveyance of how Pennywise isn't human. From that opening scene there's always something off about him. He genuinely feels like a demonic predator in a disguise that isn't quite fitting right and just wants to come out. It also helps that the actor, Bill Skarsgard can actually make his one eye look in a different direction and when he he was in the fridge and started to come out he was actually contouring his body but it was enhanced by cgi
It wasn’t him contorting, they had a contortionist do it, but still mostly practical
I wish my missus was as scared as Rana so that she would at least hang onto me or find comfort in me.
Instead, I’m a nervous wreck during scary movies and the missus is calling me a little bitch and laughing at the scary parts.
I might’ve married a sociopath.
naaa shes great. scary movies are funnier when someone like you is in there. No insult but its hilarious and helps make the movie less scary lol
Go full Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, leap into HER arms

This is definitely the best reaction to this film I've seen.
36:16 I almost pissed my pants when I saw this in the theater. It's the only real jumpscare in the movie and because of that I was completely caught off guard.
I love seeing Pat so scared... literally makes my whole day.
Pat and Rana are the absolute best for spooky reactions. They both get so into it!

*Louder and more franting screaming than before*

LOL i was laughing so hard when they were cheering Beverly on when she knocked her dad out, only to get grabbed by Penny. Rana screaming at the top of her lungs, and Pat just spin throwing a pillow in the air and just giving up by rolling over was so funny

The book is much much more terrifying. There's no way for it to compare or be able to do what King did in writing.
It's also cuckoo bananas 😂
Idk if terrifying is the right choice of words. But it's definitely more intense...
The ending of the part of the book he's talking about is a giant orgy with all of them and the one girl (yes at the same age) ... It's supposed to symbolize their loss of innocence or something. lol
I always thought it was them forcing adulthood on themselves to escape the mind whammy it put on them.
Well wasn't it Beverly's idea.
Have to say she comes up with great plans

I just love the thumbnail,Rana and Pat are scared the hell out of them while Micky is enjoying his drink
12:34 This is honestly the scariest scene in the movie for me because I didn't notice it right away. None of my friends even saw it when I pointed it out and it's stuck with me till this day. This movie is horror done correctly.
Even though Rana and Pat don't like scary movies I appreciate you two for doing the reaction! IT and DESCENT were the only two movies I actually screamed out loud in the theater, super embarrassing. Love you guys! Keep up the great work!
Rana "I thought this was a clown movie AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Get the F out of there kid" lol, her reactions alone made this clip worth watching :-)
The best part about this is seeing Pat get scared cower behind Micky
36:16 when I saw this part in the cinema, I hit the fucking ceiling 😅
It's Pat mistaking Pennywise for a sewer cat in the beginning of viewing for me. I loooooved this reaction. Hope you do Cabin in the Woods! Btw, Pennywise was manipulating Bowers into becoming a murderous psychopath. Ben survived so many stomach slashes because 80s kids are built differently. In the book, they all have sex with Beverly as a group (smdh). Also in the book, the kids are able to defeat Pennywise by visiting a native american tribe and getting high and communicating with a cosmic space turtle who is Pennywise's true nemesis. Also Pennywise is cosmic space demon that particularly enjoys feeding on scared children. Love Pat's insight into the human monsters this story also portrays. Also, Billy felt extra guilty because in the book he was being a asshole to Georgy that day.
Cabin in the woods was amazing
hold tf up they all bang beverly in the book? As in gangbanged her? LMAOOOOOO
@@yeetus8870 yup supposed to symbolize loss of innocence or forcing themselves into adulthood or some other stuff. The real reason was probably Cocaine or whatever drug king was on.
@@yeetus8870 like they ran a train lol. it was supposed to rush them out of childhood so that pennywise couldnt affect them if IT came back, at least to my interpretation
@@NoArmsSally 😭😭😂😂😂😂
6:29 I love how Micky is the only one not screaming to the top of his lungs
in the book when he says "you'll float too." it means on their carcasses, bodies float on water
Jaeden Martell (Bill) did a great job at playing a stutterer. I have a very bad case of stuttering, so I can say that he portrayed one perfectly. Having a stutter sucks!
A Chapter 2 reaction is a must at this point! This was an awesome reaction! Also a BIG YES to a reaction to Clue, I love that movie!! I really hope to see you guys do that movie reaction as its a classic!
Jokes You Missed: "Are you sure you've got the right stuff?" The Right Stuff is a New Kids on the Block song.
Have to say out of all the reactions ive seen ive never seen or heard two people scream and jump so much, so good. Great reactions, cant wait to see Chapter 2.
this really is more of a coming-of-age dark comedy with jumpscares and when you take it like that its really good
I also think this movie is not that scary, and i never watch scary movies because they terrify me but i watched both the it movies and i loved them, like i got so invested in the characters story and i got incredibly attached haha. i love these movies not in a "this movie is a great horror film" but in a "these characters are like my family now" lmao
yea its a wonderful coming of age story, especially the part with bev's fears, and the cast of kids did an amazing job they really felt like a little family.
Same for me. I usually don’t watch horror movies because I’m too much of a chicken lol. But this movie was not really scary, which can be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. I wished Pennywise was more scary but he got less and less scary throughout the film, unfortunately.
@@johnxiong6983 That last point is kinda the point of Pennywise though. At first, like anything you may be afraid of, it freaks you out, scares you, you aren't used to it. But just like the losers, you confront the fear and, while it can be a struggle, you overcome it and it becomes less and less scary once you realize what you're dealing with. And it helps to have friends along the way to back you up and vice versa.
In other words, we are right there with the Losers Club.
@@Mrryn Ah ok, I see what you’re saying. That is true, I didn’t look at it that way. Thanks!
I didn't find it scary either but I much preferred the remake of Chapter 1 than the original!
Pat always gets me because he always acts like the hardest one, he wants more action, not here for the soft stuff but anytime it's a scary movie, the real Pat shows up. lol
When Beverly opens Ben’s yearbook on the last day to sign it, and there are zero signatures, I feel that 🥺💔
So.. true story Stephen King is my dad's 3rd cousin. We found this out at my dad's uncle's funeral. Only met him that time once as a little kid, I have no memory. I also lived in Derry, New Hampshire 45 min from Maine. After learning this my Dad started realizing the significance of character names and towns in King's books. Many relate to my dad's great aunt, uncles, cousins.
That A Hole ruined my childhood. Lmao.
Fun fact Coulrophobia or fear of clowns didn’t truly become widely known until IT came along. The Circus in the 60’s also played a big part in it. But IT is notorious for the reason people equate with clowns being evil or scary
This movie is amazing!! My favorite is Ben because he's so adorable and kind to the others. He got me when he was talking to Bev and when he's dragging his headphones. Oh yeah, Rana and Pat jumping, screaming, and hiding behind pillows is so relatable and it helps that I did the exact same thing when I first watched this movie.
A little piece of me just died watching Beverly's "Are you sure you got the 'Right Stuff'?" joke going way over the Normies' heads. Crap, I'm old.
What's the joke?
@@rainyseasonhero730 "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" is a New Kids on the Block song. Basically an inside joke between her and Ben.
reina..." i thought this was a Clown movie WTF is this!!...Clown finally shows up in the Library Chase Scene..AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
While they're helping Ben for the first time you can see IT on the wall.
This is now my favorite horror film reaction! It is nearly as good as my wife’s reaction seeing this in the theater. She very nearly removed my arm from its socket several times. My wife and I were both impressed with the protective power of a pillow. Great reaction !
45:11 This scene was the last time these characters were all together.
I've never laughed so much during a horror movie
If you read/watch enough Stephen King, you'll notice a running theme of bad parents. There's a line from the book where one of the kids is thinking "Adults are the real monsters."
The original adaptation was a made-for-TV movie, and couldn't go very far with the scares. I preferred this version greatly. The house on Neibolt street was a huge set piece from the book that never made it into the TV version, which also never explained IT's origins (which gets covered in part 2).
I absolutely loved this reaction! Definitely my favorite reaction to It Chapter One! I was rolling on the floor at Rana and Pat getting scared lol
The thumbnail is killing those two are fraking out and the other guy is just sipping soda😂😂
The perfect scene is around @32:40 when Pennywise feels fear. When the kids stand up to him and say, "It's not real." I love that part. The music, the look on Pennywise's face. Absolutely beautiful.
The ending of the book is definitely a yikes. King has a lot of great content, but there's definitely a questionable aspect to a lot of it
Are you referring to the space turtle or the Beverly gangbang? 😂
@@MontgomeryWenis See the turtle of enormous girth. On his shell he holds the earth.
Ka is a wheel.
@@MontgomeryWenis Turtle? I thought it was a spider
@@patricktorres1292 Pennywise is an intergalactic spider monster. The turtle is something completely different and wasn't used in either version. But there are two references to it in this one. Rana & Pat: *SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS*
Mickey: Thats pretty cool
Man, I love this movie. Captures the small town childhood nostalgia so well. Roaming around with friends, childhood love, everything, back when the world seemed so simple through the eyes of a kid. It's hitting me just watching the highlight reel here. Excellent visual horror on top of that. The headless boy scene is so well done in particular. And it's as great of an adaptation as you can get for half of a 1200 page book.
The sequel... well it's a shame, but this movie is great.
Listen, I loved this so much 😂😂😂 please I need you three to watch more scary things lmao
Loving your reactions to this so far and I'm only 15 minutes on this video 😁😁 cant wait for part 2
There is always the screams for everything girl, the subtle but not too subtly scared guy, and the friend who’s dead inside and laughs at everything. I’m the last one too lol 😂
Pennywise also has a negative effect on the town. They hint at it but he basically manipulates people in Derry to do evil, ignore certain situations and just generally be bad people. It’s why the lady didn’t help Georgie, the people in the car didn’t help Ben, Henry gets basically possessed, all the parent are horrible. Pennywise creates a vibe.
Rana and Pat: Fear
Pennywise and Viewers: Joy
Rana "who gets the girl?" Well, everyone...
Lol yup….
And it was her idea, which makes me think those bullies weren't lying, but who knows
You guys do know theres’s a sequel right? It, Chapter Two. It (who isn’t really a clown) returns, so they return as adults to try to defeat It once & for all.
Rana seriously had a genuine look of terror and stress creases on her face no later than 30 minutes into this. Outstanding group reaction overall, as well (as always)!
I love this, but y'all need to stop torturing Pat I swear that poor boy never gonna sleep again. I believe in you, Pat!
So living for this trio right here. More please! xD
Pat and Rana's fear was so hilarious to watch. I'm sorry lol
The end of this movie isn't the end of the story It's only the first half. That's why it's called part one. They split the book into 2 parts for the movie. The first half is them as kids the second half is them as adults.
I'm so desensitized to horror, it was a treat watching people super scared of this. I envy you.
Go watch mrballen lol, he has the best stories.
OMG I’ve been watching you guys religiously for a while now and I swear to god I was just randomly going through RUclips when I stumbled upon a Behind The Scenes of “IT” and I started watching it cause it looked interesting, and then I went down this rabbit hole of a bunch of “IT” related videos ie: Talkshows with the cast, bloopers, and explanations.
