- This is the Skyway to Tomorrowland on New Years Eve 1991 late at night.
I'm going on the Skyway over Fantasyland and Tomorrowland you can see all the rides and attractions from above the park looking down.
It is so beautiful to see disneyland bathed in many colorful lights.
You can see the Dumbo ride, King Arthur's Carrousel, the Castle and Main Street, Alice in Wonderland Tea Cups, Monorail.
Go thru the Matterhorn and see the Abominable Snowman, Submarine Voyage, Peoplemover, Rocket Jets, Autopia Cars!

Sadly I never got to ride the Skyway and I am quite upset about it. This seems awesome.
The skyway is awesome! I'm planning to bring it back. It maybe a tad hard to do so, but I ain't giving up.

Love this..so beautiful. What a nice So Cal night. I bet there were lots of mullets, puffy permed hair w/scrunchis, and Keds to be had. Great memories :)
I wonder if anyone tried this: 1 person walked from one Land to the next while the other took the Skyway. I bet it took the same amount of time to get there; although the skyway makes me nervous, it looks like its one hell of a ride. And sooo pretty! Thank you for sharing that, I never really got to enjoy the lights, which to me is the best part :)

I don’t know if most people here would agree with me but I think Disneyland in the late 70s all the way to the mid 90s was the best. While I still love it I prefer the attractions that were made for the park rather than the ones inspired from films or cartoons. Just my thoughts

I was there 1986 for opening of Captain eo my dads band the Moody Blues performed there that day September 18 1986 I think my first time there was for my 3rd birthday in 1983 then we moved to Los Angeles in 1987 from England so I got to go quite a few times growing up if only we could go back in time Disneyland was really magical in that era.

Wow I remember that, and I remember dumb asses spitting off them and throwing coins/candy. Always the assholes messing it up for all of us. I know Disney said that it was too hard to renovate or cost to much to fix the ride so they shut it down, but I still do think idiots throwing crap off it did factor in the decision.
LOL the cameras back then had the worst resolutio/quality just seeing the first second of the video and I knew it was filmed in the early 90s thank god they improved camera quality enormously
