- We all know how to make the classic pyramid farm at this point. But what about something actually efficient? Today I show you how to build the ultimate mob farm in Terraria designed by Heath04 on the Terraria Forums. This farm can get you enemies from any biome in the game, and SUPER fast.
Credit to Heath04 for creating this farm and providing instructions for how to build it on the forums: forums.terrari...

thank you SO MUCH for dividing the stacks of identical blocks for each row and direction at the start of the video, people seriously underestimate how much more convenient this is than counting every single block you place
That came straight from the guide on the forums, I agree it definitely makes it easier to build!
@@ChiefLogan_ then my thanks extended to the original guide creator too!
@@ChiefLogan_ i literally just went oh, that would've saved me so much time when i built my past 2 mob farms (i definitely didn't swear)
Indeed!!!
@@Do_You_Like_Beans and when you see it you are like "this is so obvious, why did I not think about it"
2 small corrections, the snow and desert can co-exist, I just chose to exclude it in my screenshot due to laziness since I was manually swapping my farm between different variants, I will update it for accuracy. Also you don't need to shimmer the sandstone walls, actually better if you avoid to do so due to certain desert spawns.
I corrected these in my guide and changed it to be more precise
Thanks! It looks like the wiki is a bit misleading when it comes to snow & desert coexisting and I made the mistake of believing it (never believe technical details from the wiki lol).
Interesting about safe sandstone walls working, that seems a bit counterintuitive but many things in this game are
@@ChiefLogan_ Yeah, the only biomes that cannot coexist are the evil biomes with hallowed
thank you both for your awesome work :)
Can snow+desert coexist with crimson/hallow?
Thanks for sharing this amazing mob farm. But I found out that Crystal Thresher, likely all kinds of sandshark, cannot be pushed, they will stuck at the left. Is there any way to solve the issue?
I am SO thankful that you put the blocks into individual stacks and clearly showed where to start each different section of blocks. it made this easily, the best tutorial ive ever seen for this game. Genuinely, thank you
For anyone who was curious, I built both this farm and waffletimes farm in prehardmode (jungle biome + water candle but no other spawn boosters) and this one gives about 1.5x the coins (not tested in hard mode yet) I would recommend making pathways out of granite because then enemies can drop geodes which are fantastic money makers ;)
I though only granite enemies dropped geodes? You could make insane money with that
@@zkam900 sorry if I miswrote that, yes only granite enemies drop geodes but when you make the pathway out of granite a shit ton of them spawn (and drop geodes) normal skeletons will not drop geodes no matter what, but they spawn much less frequently.
After doing this i keep getting granite elementals spawning under the spawn platform and attacking me, anyway to stop this?
@@lavamonster5829 you may have built your farm too close to the ground, I would dig down and to the side a couple extra blocks and ensure there are no natural walls, then try again :)
If you make all of your biome “chunks” set up with alternators and switches you can turn your various farm options on or off, and even farm the less common hybrid biomes
That is a really cool idea!
You mean actuators yeah? If that's true, that is a fantastic development for a lot of versatility
@@ArcNine9Angel oops, sorry, yeah i was super tired when writing that and after like 15 tries to find the word i was looking for i gave up.
Wait, once you disable a block with an actuator you disable it's biome?????
If i knew that i would have implemented it years ago on my farms
@@Fakedis it works with at least a few block types, or did the last time that i bothered to try and make a super compact farm, to be fair, its been a couple updates, and i did not try 100% of the blocks, but it at least worked for me trying to have only a small corruption zone and a small crimson zone, and being able to disable the jungle mobs from wrecking me after i had block cleared the entire underground jungle
Add lava in the bottom of the farm, so no entities will spawn down there

For the beginning when you asked if my farm was like that: yes, Waffletime farm every time
We’ll try this one next time, you won’t be disappointed
@@ChiefLogan_haha same I usually use the old happy days farm design though I do change it to make it more effective depending on the state of the game I am in ( I add teleporter and hoiks to make in sort that bats don't get out and also boulder statues to kill mimics and stuff faster, will def try this new design out.

Got rod of discord in less than 10 minutes using this farm lmao, great video.
How did you get Chaos elementals to spawn?
@@Mind_Fluid As far as I understand, making the biome hallowed then placing pearlstone blocks as the last 26 floor blocks they should spawn.
@@rakdosrok5816 appreciate it, I’ll try it out.
How did you stop the mimics from spawning? I tried spider walls but then i get literally nothing but spiders
@@rakdosrok5816 how do I get the chaos elementals to stop teleporting out of the kill chamber
I made a very similar design, and an issue I encountered was that 3 block tall mobs like lizards and skeletons would sometimes tunnel through the bottom row of blocks when hitting the slope (not sure why they hit it in the first place since the tunnel itself is 3 blocks tall with 2 blocks of hoik at the bottom and 1 empty space above.) Anyway, the fix for that was to make the bottom 2 blocks thick. I'd still observe enemies sometimes being one block lower, but they didn't fall completely through anymore and arrived in the killbox as intended.
It doesn't appear to be a problem in your exact build but if anyone else is having this problem that's the fix.
V Sync lowers your framerate but also reduces positional correcting. Also helps with items getting pushed out of blocks (EoC, EoW)
This recommended to me is pretty convenient timing. I got the terraria itch after a while and then made a waffletime afk farm the other day. I used the pre-existing cleared space and converted it to this one and it works great. Also the seperation of blocks into numbered stacks is much appreciated because even when using the ruler, I can still forget my count.
WOAH! I've never heard of the shadow candle! I had to keep moving my farm and a nearby cavern village further away cause I kept getting gem critters spawning! I had no idea they added that! thanks!
It's aweome! Been searching for good frams and this is nice one!
Easy to follow guide for my primate brain, works like a charm. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for joining my Terraria stream chat tonight and the tips for getting more slimes to spawn.
I knew your name looked familiar, I'd watched this tutorial recently!
that's actually insanely useful guide, thanks
excellant video. i love that you were thorough with variations, and explanations on everything. much appreciated.
i bet ur using this in your shimmerblock playthrough rn
Shimmering Skies, but yes, I am lol
This makes a very good Dungeon enemy farm. I'll build a Lizard Temple version of this later and test it
3:56 Worth noting that the shadow candle does NOT work on the skeleton merchant, since he is not a town NPC (info from the wiki)
found that the hard way
16k views on terraria content in 2024 is such a boon of light to see
I used non wire with a hole in the top so slimes moved slightly faster. took 20 afk hours for metal detector, if you do it right should take less. Decent farm glad I got what I want, an easy pre Hardmode summon for this is the Abigail’s flowe
An efficient skyblock farm that only needs some blocks and a hammer? Sign me up!
Btw at 2:09 you said right wall instead of left wall :P
Oops lol
This is a very underrated channel keep it up 😃
thank you terraria's architect
I've never had trouble finding the metal detector before I needed it until this current run. after searching for hours I gave in and built this farm only for the nymph to spawn as I'm finishing it. To add insult to injury another one spawned 5 minutes later when i started the farm
I think you can have lava and magic if you use bubble blocks, they are pass-through but don't let liquids flow
That’s a really good idea! Just have to make sure to only use one bubble block otherwise enemies will fall on the player
If you build where pinkies can spawn they can get through just to be warned
@@ChiefLogan_super small enemies like pinkies can get through, I have lost a hardcore run to this.
Alternatively, if making a perimiter is too much work, you can build the farm in the aether, as that is naturally filled out with stone to prevent mobs from spawning outside the farm.
I mined it out by hand, you cant stop me
"Become ungovernable" type of action.
Couldn't you use bubble blocks to make multiple layers of lava in the kill chamber so that mobs are always in contact even while jumping but the lava layers were still thin enough to not destroy items?
If you can get them, traps make for good ways to increase the rate you kill the enemies at.
Works very well 🎉 thx for this amazing guide ☺️☺️
But I'm farmin hallow biome keep getting killed by the hallow mimic 😅😢
For my notes, I'll be a lot less pedantic than Kellam. Originally the player placed wall desert wall would have been a bad choice when farming certain mobs like chaos elementals that don't spawn unless the player is active and not in front of player walls, but the shadow candle negates both effects. If you use the MUCH easier to create jungle biome to increase spawn rate, then you'd still need battle potions to get close to the spawn cap, but the underground desert in caverns goes right to it. At some point before that, the ability to kill mobs quickly is the real bottleneck, since every living mob reduces the spawn rate.
I do have a very fancy mob farm from a long time ago in my discord's announcements. Though I have built it a couple times in skyblock's that have wiring access, it's too complex to be practically copied, but it's a super automatic farm with fully wired biome and spawn rate control. It can even fully afk without dying to big mimics, although it also doesn't kill them. I should update it with hoik mob boosters and a shadow candle.
how do I get the chaos elements to stop teleporting out of the kill chamber
Excited for the new episode!
Chlorophyte armor helps too. The leaf sticks above the block and shoots
Something I found out you can use the clinger staff through one block floors so can you use both the clinger staff and lava just not nimbus rod although I play on console so maybe it only works there and finally to do this you have to place your curser right above the block you want to place the wall of fire
2:52 mining set, mining potion, chisel and light silver pickaxe go brrrrrrrr
This. He says don't do it by hand, I say F that. I hate using explosives for mining. It makes my OCD go absolutely batshit.
Just use TNT, a lot quicker.
@@feli9005 Did you miss my comment? That's the whole point. And it's really not that much faster if you're trying to use any precision at all.
@@metalboy5150 how does using explosives to mine trigger your ocd? doesn't make any sense mate. use it until you are 95% done and do the outline by hand, like everyone else. and yes, it's much faster, unless you are very late game.
@@feli9005 So now we're questioning what bothers me in a game, just because it doesn't bother you?
How about this: I'll play the game in whatever way is fun to me, and you play it in whatever way is fun to you, and I won't tell you how to feel about it, and you won't tell me how to feel about it. It bothers me to use explosives to mine because I find it imprecise, and when I've done it, I've found that it doesn't take that much longer to do it with a pickaxe and some buffs. That is my experience, and whether you feel that it's "correct" or not means very little to me.
this is actually awesome
thanks!
thank you, it was an amazing guide
This farm is simply amazing. But I was wondering if there was a way to modify it to make farming for the RoD easier. I tried replacing the blocks you showed for the dungeon farm with pearlstone, which does spawn chaos elementals from time to time, but it is extremely rare and inefficient.
Posting this for anyone on the secret world seeds or get fixed boi/Zenith seeds, golden slimes seemingly spawned more often with the wireless version, I notably earned ridiculous platinum numbers in pre-hardmode. After Skeletron I reworked to the wired version, and while I'm fairly certain the kill rate has increased, the gold income is dramatically lower even during goblin army and blood moon. The star slimes and some gold ones are falling through, I'm about to try turning off vsync for fixing their positioning and after that may make a second farm with the wireless version to compare properly.
Note: I am playing on a server my friend set up, so the dropthrough persisting may be due to that.
Just out of interest, what are the blue blocks you're using there? For whatever reason, I don't recognize them. I like how they look.
It’s one of the moss brick variants, can’t remember the exact name
@@ChiefLogan_ Thanks so much for the reply, just knowing that I can figure it out. I've never used any of those, so I had no idea.
Ok. So my friend and I made our wireless version in the mushroom biome so we didn't have to dig as much. It's exactly to specifications, but it's very slow. Mobs will spawn pretty much anywhere but the actual path with the platforms. We made a desert biome, even going to find the shimmer to get the right walls, but it's still not working.
If it was built to the measurements shown then it shouldn’t be possible for mobs to spawn anywhere other than the platform. Where are they spawning?
For anyone whos wondering what block hes using its the xenon moss brick
If you don't want to use summons, then spear traps, flame throwers, and spike ball traps could be worth implimenting into the build
Pro move: if you’re doing caves, take over the shimmer cave since it’s totally solid blocks and you wont have to excavate everything
i learned alot that was cool
Instant like and save to my playlist. Thanks for the awesome guide on the build and thank you @cjheath204 for the original forums guide and corrections.
why bats keep spawning outside? is that normal?
I had the same problem too. Turns out enemies were spawning on top of the top platform. Decrease the length of the platform on top. You also have to actuate the two middle layers accordingly
mobs are still spawning underneath, what am i doing wrong?
Neat. I may redesign the kill chamber to work with melee weapons, I have designed many kill chambers doing 30x spawnrate hardcore and have found one that fits 3 wide mobs and can utilize true melee weapons without you being in danger, but idk how safe it is for ranged enemies
i build the same farm in caverns and get like 5 enemies PER SECOND THIS FARM IS CRAZY
Don’t you need to place walls in the background underneath so mobs don’t spawn and only spawn on the spawning platform?
When I tried the unwired version of this cave bats were spawning outside so I had to box myself in and mobs weren’t flowing in at all, is there any way I could fix this?
dude im having the same issue
put lava in the bottom of the box
would changing this to crimson help with farming ichor? or is there something else I should do in order for stickers to spawn
dude how the hell do you deal with the skeleton archers they start spawning under me and just ruin the afk farm
You must have built the perimeter a block or more too small or the farm too low, try expanding the perimeter down more, mobs shouldn’t be spawning there full stop
@@ChiefLogan_ okay bet i’ll change that. The farms sick i’ve been using it regardless of the mobs. Thank you for the good vid
unfortunately I still have to manually change all the biome blocks if I want to farm for another biome mobs, also, the mimic from another evil boime is exactly the mob I want to farm for. Don't wanna avoid them from spawning
Why can't I get the RoD? I had spent numerous hours on this farm and I got 4 desert keys, but not a single Rod of Discord.
I did everything needed, but I can't get it at all.
Chaos elementals only spawn then the player is considered moving, have you been standing still at the farm?
Maybe it’s a stupid question, but I will ask: does this farm trigger mimics or not?
The wired version should move mimics through the hoik, the wireless one will need some way to trigger them to start moving themselves
In the wireless version you can set a dart trap
@Darkness_7193 without wire?
@@ChiefLogan_ Lazy one, with platforms. Darts can pass through platforms and will trigger mimics. It also possible in wired version, if you will connect dart trap to hoik counter, but it require experiments to find optimal counter period (I quite sure that exists schemes that can emulate counters with custom signal period)
@@ChiefLogan_ I writed the such long comment, and get joke only in the end :D
instructions unclear, i mined it out by hand
How do you stop a bunch of monsters from spawning either a) on the bottom of the whole box or b) on top of the sand? It's farming well but there are so many skeleton archers and whatnot spawning at the bottom and shooting up. Should I make the box deeper? Any help much appreciated :)
For the first point, when the mob spawner looks for valid spawn spots, it looks for blocks around the player in a fixed distance. I don't know the spawn distances off the top of my head but the whole box is sized so that if you're standing at the gathering spot, there shouldn't be any valid blocks in range below you or anywhere other than the spawn area.
U can move the box down. The sand should all be visible. If u can’t see it all that’s where they’re spawning so move it to where u can see it. Lava also works to stop spawns.
@@Khanxay Thank you!
@@cleverhandle420 Thank you!
hallowed mimics still seemed to spawn after i placed the infested spider walls. maybe i placed them incorrectly? im not sure.
You need to place them above both layers of the spawn platform, if you have plenty of cobweb you may as well Place more than you need
@@ChiefLogan_ great thank you.
occasionally my mobs are spawning below me in the box but for the most part they just spawn on the top most platform and dont walk to the actuators, the dimensions of the box are correct, not sure where im messing up
Try expanding the box down further. You shouldn’t be getting mobs spawning on the top platform unless there’s spawn spaces off-screen. Did you build the sand too high?
@@ChiefLogan_ looks like expanding it worked thanks
Does it work on Mobile and in pre-Hardmode?
Great video!
Is it still beneficial to wall the entire lower section of the mined out area?
bats are getting stuck at where the hoik meets the ramp on the left, did I do something wrong?
the wizard 🙏🏿😭😭
I placed about 400 pearl stone and yet the surrounding area isn’t an underground hallow, I can’t stand under the kill chamber but if I stand much further left it will become the hallow. Also I have bats spawning, how do I stop them from lowering the efficiency?
I want to farm hornets, but they don’t go into the farm. Is there a solution? Mine is wireless.
God thanks you divide each block or it would be hell because i don't know how much and how short i need
So how about the enemies that spawn outside the hoik?
Does the backround change after you place 1500 sand blocks? Because i cant tell if my artificial biome work
It doesn’t no, you really just have to trust you’ve placed them all within the range
Ok ty
@@XyggyNicholaiRutaquioif u have torch gods favor i think u can see if it works
I placed the desert blocks then the backround and it changed my tortch
I made the crimson version but it doesn't work, the biome starts a little below the afk zone and only enemies from the caves come to the lava, I have tried to lower the afk zone a little but then they only appear at the bottom limit (they are still cave enemies except for some mimic crimson chest)
Okay, solved, I solved it by changing the blocks in which they are generated for crimson blocks, bats still appear but in most cases they are enemies of the crimson biome
mmh, all works perfectly, but when i place he 300 crimson blocks, to make a crimson farm, my npc leave their houde becaude "house is corrupted", any idea how to cgange it? i used uncorruptible blocks
Unfortunately that’s an unavoidable side effect of using an evil biome
I'll be completely honest: I followed the tutorial to the letter and didn't get good overall results, the entities didn't appear in a good quantity. In my case for farming the Hallowed biome, most of the entities appeared at the bottom of the square, and very few appeared on the platform. And don't get me started on the Chaos Elemental mob; one appeared and teleported to the NPC base, ended up taking out one of them.
I've checked a few times to see if I made any mistakes with the design, but it looks like I didn't.
If they appeared at the bottom of the perimeter then your build must be a block or more out. I’d recommend extending the perimeter down a few blocks, that should sort your issues
Just put lava on the bottom of the square and farm using summons like the blade staff ( which can be easily obtained on entering hardmode)
I built the dungeon farm and it’s absolutely amazing. But i don’t get any ectoplasm, even though dungeon mobs are spawning. Any help?
You need to have unsafe dungeon walls placed inside the kill chamber for dungeon spirits to spawn
i keep getting random bats throughout my farm, i walled off all the non visible areas and i still get bats spawning. maybe it has something to do with them phasing through the floor below the hoik area? ive triple reinforced the floor below it and added so many torches and yet the occasional one gets through on the left side. edit: nope not phasing, turned the hoik off and they still spawn on the left side. im going back to the volcano
It’s possible they are coming from below if your perimeter is slightly off?
@@ChiefLogan_ yeah, even checked the forum you linked. its weird, had a play round with it, destroyed and re-placed the walls on the left side and even added an extra layer of wall on the actual perimeter and seems to have worked (touch wood). so maybe the bats were spawning in the wall? even then it shouldn't do it in the first place.
Could not get the jungle to work well. When i replaced the spawn site with mud and jungle seed, the carnivorous snatcher plants spawn on every block and take over spawns. I also get giant wasps spawning throughout the base. I replaced the walls with infested spiderwalls and that just gave me spiders. Fixed the snatcher and wasp issue. Any tips on using jungle seed and mud blocks? I am not having any issues with default blocks.
From terraria wiki:
"Since the Skeleton Merchant is not considered a Town NPC in regards to reducing enemy spawns, the candle has no effect on his disruptive presence in farms."
Thus, shadow candle isn't certainly needed if you don't get npc's there.
That’s sad, man.
Because this dude takes like 8 spawn slots in solo
It does help with farming chaos elementals though
Should i build wall and place lava under the bottom half,i just build it and doesn't seem to have a lot of mobs to spawn 😢
Provided the farm was built correctly, mobs shouldn’t be spawning below the farm as blocks are too far away. If they are spawning there then remove another layer or two of blocks
Dude
I play terraria in mobile
Why aren't there as many mobs spawning as in the video?i didnot put sand or jungler item in build
Only 3 mob per minute
Im barely getting any spawns,im getting the occasional slime but other then that nothing, have i missed a step or done something wrong?
Do you have mobs spawning along the bottom of the perimeter? If so move it down a few blocks
Nice farm! I've been using it the "normal" way just fine but now I'm trying to use it to get some vertebra and I don't know what am I doing wrong. I've put 300 blocks of crimston blocks and Crimston blister walls (crafted with ecto mist) behind where I stand. Thanks!
You'll need to place crimson blocks where the mobs are spawning to get most crimson enemies, and you can keep the sandstone walls for the desert spawn increase, it shouldn't interfere with the crimson mobs spawning
I don't know if it works in the current version, but I remember before you can actuate blocks to turn biomes on and off. If I ever start the game up the game in the current version, I'll let you know if it still works.
I mean actuation works , so when you make the block turn ‘off’ i think it will invalidate that biome ig. Let me know if you got it to work
Mine keep spawning on the duster and hoik roof what do I do
Should Underground Desert enemies be spawning when making the biome? Because I seem to only still be getting regular cavern enemies (skeletons, bats, mimics, etc.)
I had ONE ant charger at the very beginning after making the biome, but never again.
You can still be considered in the underground desert without the enemies spawning (the easiest way to check is what music you get). But if you want desert mobs you’ll need specifically treacherous sandstone walls
@@ChiefLogan_ Edit: I figured out what I was (wasn't) doing, thanks for the insight though!
@@gorillazhead Got the same issue, want to share the solution? ;)
man you really didn't want ot save the wizard did you
I actually make my mob spawner as just a closed box hovering *above* the kill zone in the middle of a large flat surface. A distance of about 10-12 blocks off the ground allows you to collect items from the kill zone with a treasure magnet, while allowing safe farming of wraiths, reapers, or floaty grosses. However, actually killing the mobs in the desired place is made much harder by this design - either you have to get the mobs to go underneath you before you kill them in only that area (explosive traps are effective for this), or place conveyor belts to ferry the items to you no matter how far away the kill. It’s not going to be particularly efficient but at least I figured it out mostly by myself.
Separately, an issue I’ve encountered is that in later iterations I can’t seem to get ice bats or ice elementals to spawn even though all other ice biome enemies spawn readily. Any idea what’s up with that?
Do you have ice blocks placed on the spawn location? That might help. You’ll also need a blizzard on the surface for ice elementals to spawn
@@ChiefLogan_ I put these in the cavern layer, and I’ve tried both ice and snow for the spawn area, though with conveyor belts on top, and enough ice or snow blocks in the vicinity to make the entire place into an ice biome. Wiki says conveyor belts specifically act like the block below them with regard to spawning.
Is there a way to make actual desert enemies spawn? Also I seem to only be getting bats, slimes and skeletons
How do you deal with the flying enemies? Is there a way to get them into this/stop them from spawning?
Since the player is lower they should filter into the farm naturally
Hey, thanks for the guide! I’m unfortunately only getting about ~25-30 mobs a minute, and I'm not sure why. I've got the sand and the walls, and the music is the underground desert music, I even added a water candle just for extra. I have the shadow candle, and my summons are killing the mobs very quickly. It's not that they're spending lots of time in the death chamber either as there are just very few mobs that actually come down the hoik. Could it be that I'm pre-hardmode?
Do you have mobs spawning anywhere else, such as below the farm?
@@ChiefLogan_ Its hard to tell, but I don’t think so. If I drop down one block from the normal standing platform then they do spawn. I thought I may have measured incorrectly but I did the stacks just as shown in the video (and the forum post). I think I’ll remeasure just to make sure but the ruler isn’t long enough so I’ll have to do it manually
i think i made an error, i'm in pre hardmode and for the majority of time it only spawn gems bunny instead of enemies pls help
If you have NPCs nearby then friendly mobs will spawn much more frequently than enemies, you can circumvent this effect with a shadow candle
when I placed crimstone blocks the housing became corrupted and the NPC's left, is there a way to avoid or do i have to tear down the crimstone before leaving every time?
Unfortunately there's no way to have NPCs in a corruption or crimson, so you'd have to remove the biome before you leave each time. To make this much easier though, place down exactly 300 crimstone when you're using the farm, then break a single block when you want the housing to be seen as safe again. Since there's only 299 blocks now the housing won't be considered in a crimson.
@@ChiefLogan_ thank you so much it would save me alot of hassle.
By the way if you want explsion-proof blocks than you should be using dungeon bricks. They are the easiest one to get
8:55 , i tried that but have problems with a lot of man eater(the one with vine thing) spawning from that direction and i don't know how to stop it 🙃
Mobs spawn on top of the farm and it isnt that effective, is there a way to fix these issues
As long as the top of the farm is on screen, mobs shouldn’t be able to spawn there
I made this farm on mobile. Copied everything but i cant set it to desert. I only keep getting cavern enemys. Do i have to change blocks on the spawn? I used platinum bricks to make the hole thing
Yes you’ll need to change them to sand/sandstone, potentially with treacherous sandstone walls behind them (I can’t remember exactly)
@@ChiefLogan_ i did change em and dig a bit bellow the farm cause there was a mushroom biome. It seems i get the desert theme now when imon my platform(the mushroom interfered) but altho i get the desert theme i still getting normal cavern monsters
Ok it seems it works. Had to place walls on the enemy spawn for desert enemys to spawn
I just made this, it works great but bats are still spawning around me? Does anyone know how to fix this?
why dont mobs spawn on the sand and ruin rates also are the mobs supposed to spawn in the hammered wire blocks
As long as the sand isn’t off screen, mobs shouldn’t be able to spawn on it. Yes, mobs will spawn on the hammered wire blocks and the bottom blocks with no wire, depending on the one second timer
6:29 this isnt true? I use snow and sand in tandem all the time? Tho at 1500 snow/ice the background wont change, just music an torch and assumedly drops/enemies (key will drop?) And at 1501 background will change. The blocks that do cancel out each other is corruption/crimson and hallow.
Am i mistaken?
No you’re right, I was mistaken in the video after believing the wiki
@ChiefLogan_ if I had read anything I would've realized you've been told this already, sorry.
wizard appears.. huh apparently you can also use this to find missing npcs
