Casually forgetting Tavernkeep armor is available post 1 mech

@@Waasephi The armors were buffeated in 1.4.4, they are very good choices for Moon Lord.

The 1/80,000 Uzi drop rate was a bug, which was patched to 1/200. It was then increased to 1/100 in 1.3.0.1, which it remains at to this day

5:59 the hellwing bow has a special attribute. You know how when a projectile pierces an enemy, the next enemy in line will take less damage, and so on? The hellwing bow just kind of doesn’t do that. It’s a piercing weapon with zero damage dropoff. Every worm enemy should be thanking the high heavens that it’s so inaccurate.
I had no idea it was so good!
Damn, no point farming for the demon tome then if hellwing is all I need for the destroyer

Challenge: battle all bosses in their enraged/daytime state.
skeletron eol duke fishron outside of ocean plantera outside of underground jungle
@@jeremypanjaitan4039 also has to kill the mechs, EoC, and (if fought) Moon event bosses during the day even if most of the fight is during the night. Fight them as they flee basically.
skeletron would be basically dungeon guardian with hands

Hearing eminem during the EoL fight makes this probably one of the best challenge runs
The Eminem Empress texture pack is the greatest thing I've ever seen.🤣
Also, maybe an interesting challenge could be a "No Weapons, Just Equipment" run mainly because I love accessories that attack enemies, in both vanilla and modded, so I'm kinda curious about what the highest amount of damage you can deal with just accessories.

For anyone wanting to do this challenge, you can also obtain the gladiator set as a substitute for the ancient shadow set

The movement issue in early to mid Hardmode could have been solved by purchasing a jetpack from the steampunker.
Or leaf wings from witch doctor in the jungle

All I'm saying is that the final tier of old one's army can really help you survive. It gives a lot of armour and regen

This was really cool to watch!
A challenge run i always like to see is the Fisher.
1. You're allowed to craft needed items to progress (accessories , tools)
2. You're only allowed to use weapons you fish up or are nautically themed , ore you get from crates are fair game, but you can't mine.
3. You have to craft / get every fishing rod and display them
4. Complete the Angler quests , you are allowed to use Angler items.
5. Craft the Shellphone
6. Get all of Duke Fishron's drops.
7. Defeat Moon Lord.
I also like Engineer
1. can only use tools, explosives, sentries, and traps to do damage.
so your base is a bunch of traps and like a huge farm to deal with enemies. bosses are lead into elaborate trap set ups

An early-game tip for this challenge would be to visit a Living Tree right away since there's USUALLY a couple of leafy chairs and tables in there along with the Living Loom.
The corruption Ancient Shadow Armor farm is actually one of my favorites idk why. I always find myself farming for it because I love the look and once you get your first banner it gets a hell of a lot easier to do.

you should absolutely do a fishing playthrough. also, i know its a lot of work, but don't cut out sections (or if you do, dont make it as obvious, or find brief clips from that section tat are beneficial). i loved this video though. genuinely one of the funniest vids ive seen in a while, you're sense of humor is unmatched in my eyes.

I occasionally use the Lilith's Necklace before getting the fishron mount but seeing it be on my screen for so long is kinda funny, just this feral wolf destroying all these bosses

Yes please please do a fishing challenge. I know it’s weird but I absolutely love fishing (genuinely) I get excited finding the stuff for the potions and growing the flowers and everything about it. Figuring out where to go and how to optimize makes me focused. I really enjoy it and would love for a fishing challenge.

Ahr... Men this video is one of the best terraria challenges i have ever saw. You spend so much time into it but still didnt got what you deserve, you really have a good potencial. Another option pre-hardmode that doesnt rely on the world evil is the ancient cobalt armor that drops from some jungle enemies. It would be a more mage focused pre-hardmode so your weapon for the wall would probably be the fire flower or the flamelash

Fishing actually has a tonn of useful things that you technically don't craft. Yeah, you can't craft a fishing rod, but you can get one relatively early in the jungle, the green one, fiberglass or so. Then the mechanic sometimes sells one, and the travelling merchant sells a duck one if you're lucky. But really all you need is any rod and then grind the best one alongside everything you need for fishing from the angler.
And yeah, in hardmode one of the rewards is somewhat decent Flipper wings
I am currently in my own no craft run, and I am watching this to see what you did in hardmode. I feel your struggle on the ancient shadow armor, I got like 5 greaves and 4 helmets before I got my chestplate. 1700 kills
and looking at your channel again this is my first video i’ve ever watched but if you keep this quality of videos coming you will get huge bro i promise, your content reminds me of waffle times which if you haven’t watched he is very good as well, this type of content continues you’ll never have 0 views

Idk if I’m being slow and granted I haven’t seen the full video yet but aren’t some of the tavernkeep armors really good and don’t require any crafting
They are decent armors, but they are fairly out of the way. Plus fighting the old ones army with such weak gear is not desirable
Sorbet cafe actually did a video discussing how beenades are no longer king vs wall of flesh and the hellwing bee is amazing recently so you're not alone in that thought

I just watched someone beat the game with weapons and items dropped from NPCs. I'm pretty sure this is possible 😂 But even if there are endless videos on challenges like this, it's always fun to watch other perspectives.

Commenting before watching the vid itself, but I also did a no craft challenge once. It was really fun, forced me to think outside of the box a bit and use some weapons and armor I normally wouldn't use for my playthroughs. I did mine on expert mode since master mode seemed tedious, but I may give it a swing again at some point on master mode in the future.
It is in fact, worth the effort.
I think HappyDays at least started (I don’t remember if he finished it) a series with a similar concept years ago, where he played as a “looter”, so he couldn’t craft.

Really well done! One tip that i can share is to make plantera arena in prehardmode where you can mine fully with bombs.
Thats a decent idea, i prefer to do it around the bulb itself to save on time once the fight starts, making the arena wasn't too much of an issue in this run, just time consuming
@@Waasephi yep, but having all those chlorophyte ores sticking around in the arena makes it hard. :D
You can get wings with the dev sets, a nice idea to get them because they are the best wings in game, they are ridiculously good so they are good
Tbh as a melee player the only issue i see would really be defense, the swords you get from betsy and EoL are insane
For wings, you could’ve gotten leaf wings from the witch doctor after beating plantera. I know post-plantera is pretty late into hardmode, but it still could’ve helped.

Tbh you're basically on par with progression the entire run, it's just the grind that takes longer.
Instead of the ancient shadow armor, you could have gone for the hoplite armor. It has the same defense as gold or platinum, but with knockback immunity as the set bonus.
Pretty entertaining definitely worth the effort
the only terraria challenge run where turning yourself into a dog is optimal
2 things you could have done, gotten fishron wings, and used the plantera dungeon key items, mainly the desert tiger staff with your summoner build at the end
Tbh fishron mount is a cheese for moonlord because you dont event fight the guy, just shoot in his general direction and thats it, so this is better
The fishing themed playthrough is shimmerblock, it's pain.

i sped up the part to times 2 speed when it came to fighting moon lord and the whips rythm sped up is actually so good wth
6:57 so true dude, my first mulitplayer playthrough in expert mode (cuz my friends forced me to), the queen slime fight was the worst one by far, like i wanted to fight her for the achievement and gear she drops (mainly the mount) and it took longer to beat her than plantera and golem combined, its insane, she needs a rework or something man
