- Two Dallas County sheriff’s deputies have been arrested for allegedly stealing from the Home Depot that they were supposed to be guarding after it was damaged by a recent tornado.
FOX 4 News is a FOX-owned station serving Dallas-Fort Worth and all of North Texas.

Since the force is made up of humans, not all of them are perfect. The overwhelming majority of law enforcement officers are quality. Most of them are alphas. I know where I living being a FULL TIME cop pays very well but most cops are only hired for part time work. They'll work for several departments part time and not make very much.
In my area they make about 35k a year

They got caught by returning the items to HD for cash or credit. I guess they didn't know of the existence of an inventory tracking system that includes serial numbers when an item is scanned. It's only been in use for 40 or more years just about everywhere.

I worked for a company like home depot. One day I got a call from a truck driver trying to deliver a load to a residential address. I made some calls to the buyer etc....found out it was the buyer's assistant's house and he'd made arrangements to get a truck load of product as a "gift" from a supplier.
