She’s the one who’s not speaking and telling her side of the story. He’s asking her questions and all she was doing is saying “yes”, “no” without giving any more details to the questions that he was asking her.

Richard Hoepfner a kid I grew up with murdered his mother the day he got out of read bc she wouldnt give him money for dope. He cut her throat and bashed her head in with a dumbbell and he only got 9 or 10 years for that.. it's a screwed up justice system

at the end the reporter tells her that the murdered man's mother sent a message: She says, "May God bless you" Sonia just nods her head up and down slowly. I was almost in tears at the mother's generosity and this Chiquita just sits there like the mother's blessing was expected. Cold, man, cold.
17:32 - the moment when you realize that not calling the police while someone gets shot is damn near to pulling the trigger. I think it started to set in on this dummy right at this point. That's the moment when she realizes... all this "I didn't do it" is pointless. Normal people call the cops the minute someone pulls out a gun, let alone gets shot. I'm sure dummy had a celly. I hope it finally dawned on her that "rollin" with her homies and not calling the police while they shoot up people speaks loudly and clearly for her case. Guilty.

When you get caught up with other bad people, you tend to end up in the same place as them. If she was innocent, she definitely shouldn't take a plea deal because life in prison without parole isn't a deal. I can't seem to find anything on her sentence.
He is a horrible interviewer. His demeanor is aggressive and you lack compassion. If you want a good interview, get to know her, converse and learn to ask questions properly.

In March 2017 Sonia Quiles entered a guilty plea agreement and was sentenced to 10yrs on a 1st degree Murder charge.

What they don’t mention is that it’s either 85% or 50% depending on if she has priors. 7-8 years? Not bad. It’s a violent case so it’s the penitentiary. She’ll be out in couple more years

There’s so much sadness in this world! I’m sure we’ve all done something or ‘not’ done something within our lifetime that we wish we could take back (probably not as severe, but still). Unfortunately for this girl, her child and those who love her the consequence was grave. I consider myself blessed that circumstances in my life didn’t take a turn for the worst. Something as small as hanging out with friends late at night trying to catch a buzz could lead to someone losing their life. Life is known for how unpredictable it is, so I’m doing my best to empathize for ALL lives that have been affected, including this chick. One thing I can’t compromise on is that some people should NOT be creating more lives that are at high risk to repeat similar offenses. Bringing life into future existence should be a privilege, not a given right for everyone with genitals. Of course, this is my personal opinion. I’m not trying to attack anyone directly. I’m addressing us all as a society.
