That's to start or stop the boiler, because that is the override function of the boiler If the boiler has gone into lockout due to a fault, there is a separate reset button The boiler also has 3 lights to the left, during normal operation: Left green light blinks when the boiler has power, but no call for heating or hot water Left and right green lights blink together for when heating is called for Left and green lights blink alternately if there is a call for hot water There is a central red light, which if illuminated with other lights and also a red light next to the reset button, indicates a fault which has told the boiler to lock out for safety If you reset the boiler and usage is returned, ignore the fault, if it returns, call a gas safe registered heating engineer to inspect the boiler I have a Riva 24 HE, I know how it works
OMFG Thank you so much for posting this. Probably saved me £100 call out charge
Perfect thanks ❤
