I'm a musician, and I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Dolly at one of my gig venues in San Francisco. She was SO warm and genuinely kind, it was one of my very favorite celebrity encounters -- and seeing her up close in person, I can happily say she looked totally gorgeous, too!

Graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2009, Dolly Parton received an honorary doctorate that year. She gave a really great speech about setting goals and believing in your own hard work/self worth. Never realized until then that Dolly is always the smartest/wisest person in a given room(that was a 15,000 person room with the brightest Tennesseans in it) Then we all blew the roof off that arena singing Rocky Top, she's an even better entertainer/singer.
Brightest Tennesseans? That's what we call an oxymoron. Is 15,000 the number of Tennesseans it takes to change a light bulb? The number it takes to hit a group IQ of 100?
@@anthonykuns1032 Hey its like any society, there is a sharp divide lol. We do have more than our fair share of white trash dumbasses, but I still contend Tennessee is smarter and more prosperous than any state we border.
Except maybe for them rocket scientists in Huntsville(we have our own but fewer rocket guys in Tullahoma though) and that damn Walton cult over in Bentonville.
Fun fact: Dollywood is right now a Coaster Enthusaist holy grail park, meaning it's a park we all want to get out to since it's home to great, unique rides and is beautiful too, commonly winning Golden Ticket Awards (Our Oscars) for Best Landscaping, Best Food, Best Christmas event, and best Park in general
I would venture to say, that
A) she probably makes sure the park lives up to her standards, and/or…
B) the people managing the park would never do anything to disappoint her fans.
Either way, it speaks volumes of Dolly Parton and the kind person she is.

Did anyone notice that there was NO delay when they were talking to each other? You know, unlike when the News Room of your local station cuts to the Reporter in The Street? And they just stand there for a couple seconds waiting for the audio to kick in.
Well the talk show episode is pre-recorded then aired rather than live. So even though their conversation took place via live remote, it's likely they would have edited out any kind of time delays that come via broadcasting live from a remote location.

People promoting COVID vaccination, for the most part, weren't recommending any one specific available technology, but just simply getting ANY vaccine, period. For those who were uncomfortable with mRNA vaccines (a technology which was first tested in humans in 2013, by the way), vaccines using more traditional technologies were also available. COVID vaccines saved millions of American lives. The biggest problem with them was not experimental technology, but misinformation and disinformation spread widely by fools.
I've taken the vaccine twice and other than how I felt the following day (which wore off of course), it hasn't affected me. I don't know what the big deal is.
