Fallen order was hella fun. Customization was a little wack, and dismemberment didn't exist but I also don't really mind. Can't wait for survivor though, hopefully they add more customization like helmets/masks and other clothing besides parkas, and hopefully new lightsaber forms and such.
I prefer no idsmemberment unless I can play as a Sith. I know making a tunnel in someone's gut isn't exactly "elegant" either, but still, chopping off limbs as a jedi seems a bit excessive. Although it can be argued that the stab/slash is way more deadly. After all there's robotic limbs for replacement. But it just seems too dark for a jedi.
I legit thought the customization was fine, only because I’ve been modding it since I beat it, and I thought all my mods were part of the base game 🤣🤣🤣
This is the game that got me back into gaming. I bought it with a One X in March of 2020 after not playing a game other than Rocket League since 2017. I’m so glad. I’ve played dozens since then along with getting an XSX on launch day. Love it.
I just platted this game yesterday, had an amazing time and didn’t care that there wasn’t fast travel. We are getting lazy with fast travel I remember playing Og final fantasy games without fast travelling, it was part of the adventure and made you gain experience with the combat
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is a masterpiece, loved the game, Cal was a great protagonist, the story was really good, gameplay super fun, one of my all time favorite Star Wars games 👏👏👏 My most favorite moment was the appearance of Darth Vader, he was so intimidating, and with no health bar, you knew he was no boss fight and you had to run!!! Really excited for Star Wars Jedi Survivor 🙌
Very coincidental timing, I just finished my second playthrough of this game a couple days ago! It might be my #1 favorite Star Wars game, it’s so damn good. And I agree, Jedi Survivor is 1000% my most anticipated game at the moment

Now that the sequel is officially announced, this seems like a great time to finally play this. yea its best to play on a ps5 or xsx runs a lot smoother with the upgrades it received but if the steam deck version is anything like those youll be fine cheers!
This is one of those games where going for 100% is more than Worthy, you are not going to look for feather's or something stupid, everything you find as a point, will make you stronger, will improve your character and it's amazing.

As an Argentinian i always found funny the name "Eno Cordova" since Cordoba is the name of one of our most popular provinces, mainly because of the turistic value (they make alot of wine, drink Fernet and is the home of some of the most popular Dance Music here, the Cuarteto) So i when i played this always pictured Eno Cordova as some kind of hardcore party goer Jedi Master who was always high on Deathsticks or something, which is the exact opposite of what his character suppose to be lol
There is a sequel coming Star Wars Jedi:Survivor next year hopefully Possibly hinting at a jedi who survived the purge And regarding the ending, it felt rushed but overall a good game and good storyline I didnt like the death of second sister by vader lol
Really what about the characters showed lack of personality cause I felt like they did that really well for cal, merrin, cere, and even Greez they were all just going through character development with call going to dathomir still a broken padawan who felt like he got his master killed in order 66 and that’s how most Jedi felt if they survived order 66 as shown in obi wan kenobi series and cere we got her backstory about how she used to be a Jedi master and trained her padawan then her padawan got turned to the dark side and she started using the dark side of the force because of her anger when that happened so she cut herself off from the force We got to see greez past when you get captured on Zeffo because of greez and his gambling problem that he used to have and merrin was a night sister the last of her kind and we even saw her character arch how she was begged for her knowledge of the force by this old hermit who said all Jedi were bad and they why she didn’t like cal and then with cal fear on dathomir interconnecting with merrin it all felt so thought out and just well executed that it was perfect for this game
My first time playing was Christmas last year and let me tell you this game re opened my love for Star Wars that went away after I turned 18 I’ve bought 10 lightsabers since then

Tried Fallen Order for the first time about 3 months ago. WOW! Great story, great characters (its nice to see Debra Wilson doing dramatic work), and more than that it felt like Star Wars. I've been burned by Star Wars games before so it took me a while to give this one a try and I'm glad I did.
I really liked this game but I had so many bugs playing it and it made it difficult to get through at times. Even so I had a blast and definitely want to revisit soon

I was so excited when I heard Dathomir and went straight in. As a reward for choosing higher difficulty you actually get double-bladed light saber early on in game for exploring Dathomir.
Fallen Order was a great game that i absolutely adored, despite some of it missing the mark and feeling abit lacking in some places. More than anything i think it was a really fantastic base for a sequel to expand on every single aspect of it, which is why i have really high expectations of Survivor. Respawn had to develope the game from the ground up in an enviorment where EA wanted to move away from single player games which i think is a big reason for it feeling abit lacking. Fallen Order did beat the odds though and with it as a very, very solid foundation for a greatly expanded sequel. I think Survivor will be something really special

I think the satisfaction comes in that you're not just powerful like a cannon but powerful and fragile like a GLASS cannon. Your enemies can kill you just as easily if not more easily so it feels great to kill like 6 guys and monsters and not get touched once. Find myself slaughtering on Dathomir finally.
My only issue with this game is how bad Cal's walking/sprinting animations are. It looks like my dude shat his pants with a MASSIVE LOAD and the fact that Respawn looked at this during development and said... "That's it, it's okay." baffles me lmao
I played it on ps4, now I’m playing it on Xbox. But ps4 is the best to play it on because the controller changes colors. I know that sounds stupid but it really reeled me into the game more.
I have never cared for Star Wars video games but finally decided to buy this game for the XBox One X 6 Months ago and this is easily one of my top games I have ever played. I am a casual gamer and really only play the popular games like “the Last of Us” and all the Gears of War games and games from Remedy especially “Alan Wake”. I have beat this game 100% completion about 6 times now. I am just now getting to where this game is boring but I’ll put this game down for a Month and start a whole new game and enjoy it all over again. The second I will wait to get because I really want to play the next one on an XBox Series X. It will be about a year before I get one because I am not paying $800.00 and up for one plus imo not enough exclusives out yet to merit me getting one just yet. “Alan Wake 2” will be coming out one year from now so that will be a perfect time to buy an XBox Series X. I am sure part II of this Star Wars will look wonderful on the XBox One X so I am not sure I will have the willpower to hold off a whole year until I get my XSX…if it looks as good as Fallen Order that will be perfect. I just hope they get away from all the ugly rag robes and stick to the cooler looking ones for better looking customizations.

Nothing worse than being on max difficulty and pressing that force button just to see him shake his hand in frustration lol. Really been teaching myself to limit my uses of it. At times its almost best to let yourself die once in combat especially if you dont have THAT much XP so that way when you are refighting them all you gotta do to get more force is to hit the guy who killed you before and you're powered right back up. I haven't intentionally done that although i can recognize its usefulness especially since I'm doing my first full playthrough rn on highest difficulty too.

This game is so fun. I'm hoping the sequel makes up in what the first one lacked. I get it. It was probably limited in budget because EA didn't expect it to be a success, but, hopefully they get more resources to really improve upon things. Better customization options. More lore based collectables/collectables in general. The arena should return with more features. More force powers, maybe even interchangeable. Deeper skill tree. I know getting all of that would be a pipe dream. But I can dream.
Was in the middle of another playthrough myself. Was really hoping he'd figure out you can force push the rockets back at the rocket troopers or AT-ST.
At the end of the day, I’d rather be left wanting more then feeling like the game overstayed it’s welcome as is common. A new game plus would be really nice for the next game, but I hope they don’t add too much fluff to the game and keep the focus on simply creating a good experience.

On the topic of lightsaber's colors, I always find odd how in the movies each color has a meaning that represents the Jedi's personality and character but in the games they just let you choose the color you like the most.
Ok the game looks good. Get ready for two hours of wall jumping and an insane cutscene that last 30 seconds. Then more wall jumps for three hours then one 25 second insane cutscene. Then two hours of wall jumps then a 10 second insane cutscene. Then five hours of wall jumps. Enjoy
Cal sitting in the water at 3:15 is one of the parts that bothers me so much. Why sit on the water when that stoneplate was right behind him. I just don’t understand 🤣
That's because animators generally don't animate the character in the final scene, they didn't know there would be water here. Usually they use a basic scene with only a few elements. And making him sit on the plate could be a problem if someone decides later to change the height of that plate for instance. I worked in the industry and you can't imagine how many times this kind of stuff happens, one day some art director wakes up and decides that some useless detail needs to be changed or redone, making artists waste their time on stuff players will never notice.

Is it though? I remember enjoying my first playthrough on the PS4, but every subsequent playthrough I gave up after a few hours because I got so bored with it. Then I was able to buy it for my gaming pc for 1.69 and played for a couple of hours but found myself bored again. Even mods do not save this game for me.
I think that’s a totally different experience than what this video is about though. This game was never really a game designed to be played multiple times in a row or in quick succession. At most you might play it on the hardest difficulty, but simply playing through the game again on the same difficulty isn’t going to be amazing by design. With that being said, playing the game 3 years after first playing it is going to be a completely different experience since you’ll get to relearn all the mechanics and relive the story again.

Fallen Order and Guardians of the Galaxy were a nice surprise at how good of a story they have and their character development.

I finished it a few weeks ago I enjoyed the combat and adventure I'm hoping a sequel comes out soon but I was disappointed with the ending though.

Funny story I traded this game for fifa 20 because this game had hella bugs and I hated it didn’t really feel like I was playing a star wars game at all but now I’m willing to give it another try lmaoo
This game is so fun.
I'm hoping the sequel makes up in what the first one lacked. I get it. It was probably limited in budget because EA didn't expect it to be a success, but, hopefully they get more resources to really improve upon things.
Better customization options.
More lore based collectables/collectables in general.
The arena should return with more features.
More force powers, maybe even interchangeable.
Deeper skill tree.
I know getting all of that would be a pipe dream.
But I can dream.

Was in the middle of another playthrough myself. Was really hoping he'd figure out you can force push the rockets back at the rocket troopers or AT-ST.
It was good, but after I played through the first time, getting most collectibles, i had zero desire to ever play it again

I really wish there was a reason to replay the game, but sadly we just have to wait to the next installment.
At the end of the day, I’d rather be left wanting more then feeling like the game overstayed it’s welcome as is common. A new game plus would be really nice for the next game, but I hope they don’t add too much fluff to the game and keep the focus on simply creating a good experience.

Why skip Valhalla tho? Not judging just I feel like if you are playin Origins & Odyssey you might as well play Valhalla also to complete the trilogy 🤔

Hopefully the next game isn't so hard to Traverse cuz fallen order had me stuck for hours at a time just trying to get to the next area or objective 😂😂
yup map design was terrible it didnt take away from the game for me but going for 100% the map made it alot harder

yea that would have been nice maybe cause they chose to go the souls route in the gameplay department they didn't add it. i wonder if there gonna keep that same style for Survivor 🤔

I just beat it but I mean it is way too janky! I can't understand how people love it...its a good game for the sale price of 15 bucks, but if I paid 60 for this I would have been upset.

On the topic of lightsaber's colors, I always find odd how in the movies each color has a meaning that represents the Jedi's personality and character but in the games they just let you choose the color you like the most.
Ok the game looks good. Get ready for two hours of wall jumping and an insane cutscene that last 30 seconds. Then more wall jumps for three hours then one 25 second insane cutscene. Then two hours of wall jumps then a 10 second insane cutscene. Then five hours of wall jumps. Enjoy
Cal sitting in the water at 3:15 is one of the parts that bothers me so much. Why sit on the water when that stoneplate was right behind him. I just don’t understand 🤣
That's because animators generally don't animate the character in the final scene, they didn't know there would be water here. Usually they use a basic scene with only a few elements. And making him sit on the plate could be a problem if someone decides later to change the height of that plate for instance. I worked in the industry and you can't imagine how many times this kind of stuff happens, one day some art director wakes up and decides that some useless detail needs to be changed or redone, making artists waste their time on stuff players will never notice.

Is it though? I remember enjoying my first playthrough on the PS4, but every subsequent playthrough I gave up after a few hours because I got so bored with it. Then I was able to buy it for my gaming pc for 1.69 and played for a couple of hours but found myself bored again. Even mods do not save this game for me.
I think that’s a totally different experience than what this video is about though. This game was never really a game designed to be played multiple times in a row or in quick succession. At most you might play it on the hardest difficulty, but simply playing through the game again on the same difficulty isn’t going to be amazing by design.
With that being said, playing the game 3 years after first playing it is going to be a completely different experience since you’ll get to relearn all the mechanics and relive the story again.
It's like a solid 7/10
