i know this is a little late but oh well, a vet will be able to answer all your questions about vaccinations etc, make sure that its an avian vet, a "normal" vet that only treats cats and dogs will not be trained to know what to do for birds. Medication should not be given if the bird isnt actually sick/hurt, giving meds when its not needed may make your bird develop resistance to that medication and thats not something you want incase your bird does ever get sick cus then the meds wont work.

It's pretty easy to get animals to be chill with you if you sharply click or whistle at them, lol. People think every animal is literally just Pluto from Micky Mouse, and there you go.
Pigeons don't always mate for life. I've seen quite a few pigeon "divorces". Once I even saw a female who found a new mate while she had little babies. Nevertheless both she and her "ex-husband" took care of the babies until they were big enough to fly away. Pigeons have really always been my favourite animals although most people view them as a nuisance. Not only do they look and move around in a cute manner, they have some very impressive qualities such as flying; navigating; detecting earthquakes, etc. Plus, they are easily accessible animals for people in terms of viewing and interactive purposes.
They have been around us for ever, even during war times delivering messages, they survive in cities on their own merit. I find them very interesting, can watch them for hours.
I have a Yellow Footed Green Pigeon, it was injured and couldn't fly so I took it in and now it's really healthy and can fly a distance, it looks cute as hell do and likes to sit on shoulder and sleep on it. Sometimes even sitting on my head!
He's so sweet. He is trying to cuddle into your 'feathers' so it would be a good idea to get a soft cuddly blanket he can snuggle into next to your hand. Incredibly sweet little guy. Pigeons are very affectionate and tame.
Wow, that pigeon LOVES that person! This inspires me to try to make friends with the pigeons who eat the bird seed that I put on my apt balcony sometimes. I wish I can pet one someday!
Pigeons are extraordinary creatures. They are loving, faithful, tender. They are the only birds that sip the water directly. The female lays two eggs and the birds born are a male and a female. Both parents incubate the eggs and feed the babies with milk, white milk from a special gland, through their beak, both the female and the male, for about 3 weeks. They can fly home from thousands of kilometers away. We humans should kneal down before pigeons instead of despising them.
Ooooo my Allah, since one year ago my heart had been broken when I lost my pet pigeon and even now I cry every day at night when I remember it , Allah protect your pigeon and my one and bring it back to me safely.
Pigeons are the best mascot ever. The ones we rescued are free to come and go as they please. They come to eat through the window and leave if they want or stay the night on the door of our room. When we work they stay in our shoulders or even in our heads (which i don t recommend unless you want to look like radagast from Lord of the rings). They are super smart and super warm towards us. Unbelievable that we can bond with a descendant of dinosaurs so well. And seeing these videos always give me hope for our kind. Thanks for sharing.
Didn't know they were related to the Dodo. Thanks for the info!!!!. But someone told me humans killed all the Dodo birds because they thought they were ugly. So sad. Nothing much has changed, we still have to kill. 🌞

@@RAJ-gz3mc you're welcome! (: she looks like such a sweetheart and she looks great! (: I didn't know how long pigeons lived in captivity and it's neat that it's so much longer then in the wild!!

She responded your calls. Cute pigeon you have.
that's what will happen when you give pure love to them.
My dad was a roofer and we'd find abandoned chicks and raise them now and again. Such trusting cozy creatures. I miss them, honestly.
They're lovely birdies 😊
the only true humans can earn this kinda love from an animal because it is a pure relationship that humans cannot fake it to an animal.
now i am in love with pigeons
they are really cute tbh
Strange that I've never considered Birds laying down and sleeping so cuddly 😻
yes this one does sometimes LOL
Pigeons have really always been my favourite animals although most people view them as a nuisance. Not only do they look and move around in a cute manner, they have some very impressive qualities such as flying; navigating; detecting earthquakes, etc. Plus, they are easily accessible animals for people in terms of viewing and interactive purposes.
I agree,.they are special creatures, unfortunately since there are too many people don't like them
They have been around us for ever, even during war times delivering messages, they survive in cities on their own merit. I find them very interesting, can watch them for hours.
This is most beatiful thing I watch on youtube this month.
That's so sweet 😊thank youu 😊😊😊
When you think about it, people've had messenger pigeons for centuries, so *technically* we've had them as working pets for ages already.
pigeons have been domesticated for 6,000 years!
Pigeons are so damn cute, and the love is palpable in this video
Thank you 😊 they make very special little friends
That's really sweet. I didn't know birds could get comfortable putting their heads down on a creature as high to them as a 10 story building to us.
They are very loving and trusting creatures 😊😊😊
I have a Yellow Footed Green Pigeon, it was injured and couldn't fly so I took it in and now it's really healthy and can fly a distance, it looks cute as hell do and likes to sit on shoulder and sleep on it. Sometimes even sitting on my head!
yes they do love being on the shoulder, and try to climb to the head if they can, it's like they have to be taller than you LOL
Good on you!!!. That's so great. 🧡
Cudowna, niepowtarzalna i wyjątkowa istota.

I love how excited she got when you talked to her at 0:42
Yes, she's a sucker for my atention 😊😊😊😊
Wow I didn’t realize how affectionate pigeons were. No wonder why Mike Tyson absolutely was obsessed by them .
😃
That is so neat. Birds make great friends, just like a dog.
Yes they do ☺️
Oh my gosh, my heart is exploding with love for this sweet bird, she's such a cute girl! ❤🥰🥰
🥰🥰🥰🥰thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
Who dislikes this? This is adorable.
Thank you 😊😊
He's so sweet. He is trying to cuddle into your 'feathers' so it would be a good idea to get a soft cuddly blanket he can snuggle into next to your hand. Incredibly sweet little guy. Pigeons are very affectionate and tame.
🥰🥰

Wow, that pigeon LOVES that person! This inspires me to try to make friends with the pigeons who eat the bird seed that I put on my apt balcony sometimes. I wish I can pet one someday!
You should! They're very friendly birds 😊
Cuddly cooing unit 🥺
Pigeons are extraordinary creatures. They are loving, faithful, tender. They are the only birds that sip the water directly. The female lays two eggs and the birds born are a male and a female. Both parents incubate the eggs and feed the babies with milk, white milk from a special gland, through their beak, both the female and the male, for about 3 weeks. They can fly home from thousands of kilometers away. We humans should kneal down before pigeons instead of despising them.
They certainly are admirable and special birds 🥰
That's why i adore pigeons so much.
Thankss 🥰🥰

And to think- Dodo birds were related to these. Can you imagine a three foot floof birb doing this like a big doggo?
Awww 😄😄 there's a thought!! 😊😊
Your comment really made me laugh out loud, and I'm on the bus. I can't imagine cuddling a 3 foot pigeon, sooo cute though.
@@palomapolemica7019 I think mine either thinks she's human or I must look like a giant pigeon to her.
Didn't know they were related to the Dodo. Thanks for the info!!!!. But someone told me humans killed all the Dodo birds because they thought they were ugly. So sad. Nothing much has changed, we still have to kill. 🌞
Thank you for showing us this beautiful specimen. It warmed my heart.
