Have you ever tried to stand trans case on front end studs and reassemble. You set your bottom contershaft in ,put top countershaft in and push all the way over against case. Then take a selective washer and weld a u bolt to it and hang your mainshaft ,then put front timing gear in and time it up. This way no way to smash or cut off a finger. This way there is no need for timing blocks

Why is it important to set the timing on the counter shafts? What will happen if the timing is not set? I'm just curious

I’m having an issue where I turn the rig on and it’s leaking air on the splitter on the trans. Now it’s stops once air build up to 125 psi but I have to have high idle at about 1400 rpms or else it will not air up. If I split it for the high gears it will leak air when in neutral but if I put in the high gear it stops leaking. Any advice??

Слишком трудоёмкий и долгий метод применяют. Есть более быстрый.
