There are industry dryers that house the motor separately and/or have super long hoses. These helps with limiting the noise in the working area. There was a cat recently that was extra spicy. The worst part is you can't convince them it's not the vets after not experiencing any poking when no one remotely shows anything resembling the things they're afraid of/hate. Once it was too similar after the bath, that was it.

You're one awesome dog Moose. I want so much to hug him lol. What a totally awesome dog! his family is so lucky. However on the topic of aggression, as sweet as Mr.Moose is, I bet he's also protective as well and if you mess with his humans or break into his home at 3 in the am with the intent of robbing it you've made a huge mistake and it will certainly be your last or you will be hoping it will be your last. Outside of that, Moose is a big teddy bear it seems like. Awe moose. Great job by the way. Love him a lot.
You are so good with the dog. I found this video in suggestions and watched I have a friend in Colorado Springs who works for wag n wash and forwarded the video to her.
Reminds me of our 85 pound female Corso, Brindle , flopp ears, tons of cute facial expressions, lots of positive encouragement goes a long way just like you're doing. She's the biggest love bug on the planet, but as I'm sure you know, A lot of responsibility comes with this Breed, especially with strangers on the home turf. ( Stranger danger on steroids). He looks like a real sweetheart, reminds me so much of ours it's amazing.😊
I love dogs like this.... He is sweet, and completely unaware of his size and strength... When he decides to do something he just does and doesn't expect that he can be stopped.
What a beautiful brindle. I saw a Great Dane once riding shotgun in a convertible with his mom. He was also a brindle, with the most amazing shiny blue steel coat. The most beautiful dog I have ever seen.
Can I maybe make a small suggestion? If your blow dryer has a cool air setting, maybe turn it on, in the background, before they arrive or once the dog settles in-but a while before they need it. This might help them get acclimatized to the sound of the machine before you approach them with it-therefore maybe making it a little less scary when you DO approach them with it? Certainly not trying to tell you how to do your job ❤️
I know one time I saw someone else suggested to have the motor part of the blow dryer on the other side of the wall so that just the hose attachments come out and that would drastically reduce the noise level for the dogs to muffle it more.
I thought you'd stolen my dog for a video for a second there lol My Ace looks just like Moose but a bit smaller. They're such gorgeous well mannered dogs when raised well. I loved his face at 5:00. Just resigned to his fate 😂😂😂❤️❤️
You had me chuckling as I watched this.. All too familiar - the need for comforting words when the dog's in a strange situation. Very well done indeed!
What a gorgeous example of his breed! You and he partnered so well, considering it was his first time. That prance at the end of the video! You could see how good he felt afterwards! Great job V!
I keep repeating it, you are and will remain the best professional for me. The way you handle and the ability to penetrate the psyche of a dog is remarkable. 😊

Then again the little dogs think they are giants and act like they are big and tough not small and little and easily hurt lol. They like to rough house with the big dogs haha.
Moose's apprehension at first is because he has never been groomed before & didn't know what to expect. Once he realized it was an easy breezy affair, he calmed right down. I bet his subsequent grooms will be much easier from the get-go. Good Job, As Always, Vanessa.

What a loveable giant well behaved gentleman. I adore this dog, I might have stolen him for myself If I was in your position. Ugh I just want to hug him so much.
He looked so adorably pitiful every time you sprayed his face. And you almost sounded like a cartoon character when trying to get him on the table. It looked like kind of enjoyed the zoom groom, but wasn’t sure about the dryer. Such a sweet boy
Giant love machine. I wanted to hug him so bad. Cute Moose.
You can almost see him thinking, ok lady do what you have to do to get this over with so I can go home. Treats and scritches are ok though. 😂
HE IS GORGEOUS!!! You really brought out his coat colors! He may be scared but he is really quite confident in himself. He is so big and strong he just says nope I'm out lol
What a cutie he is. It seemed like once you started washing him, Moose looked like he actually started to think the water felt good. Dryer he seemed to relax with the happy hoodie but he wasn't so happy 😊 Moose, you're a sweetheart. Overall, I think at the end he really liked you and felt a lot happier and better
Dear Vanessa ,the animals you groom are so lucky to have you ,you are patient ,sweet and on top of it you are so funny!! And it is obvious that you adore animals .
Thank you ❤❤
You're one awesome dog Moose.
Nervous yet forgiving gentle giant. I love big dogs as much as I'm afraid of them
You are so good with the dog.
P.s ounce he gets used to the bath, it will be even easier, very smart breed, especially with your positive reinforcement 😊
Love the brindle coat. He’s such a handsome boy.
What a beautiful dog! He was so scared but calmed down so well. Love this channel!
I love dogs like this.... He is sweet, and completely unaware of his size and strength... When he decides to do something he just does and doesn't expect that he can be stopped.
Aweee i miss my boy. I had an Italian Mastiff named Gabriel when i was a kid, he was such a sweet boy. They look exactly alike 😭😭😭
He looks just like a dog i lost 3 years ago, he was the kindest being ive met it makes me happy to see a dog like him
You have such a sweet, reassuring voice. I'm sure that helps soothe a very apprehensive dog! Moose is so cute... huge and cute!
Moose is a gentle giant. What a beautiful boy he is. Love him 🥰🥰
They’re grooming the do0ogs!
They’re grooming the CAts!!
They’re grooming the PETS!!! (of the people that live there)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's true! I've seen it on TV!
Lol 😂
Love this!!
Many people are saying this!!!
What a beautiful brindle. I saw a Great Dane once riding shotgun in a convertible with his mom.
He was also a brindle, with the most amazing shiny blue steel coat. The most beautiful dog I have ever seen.
That's a big boy! Good job Vanessa. Keep-em coming...👍🐕👸❤
Such a gentle giant ❣
Yes he is 🥹
@@alexsiran6225 funny everybody calling a big horse or dog, a gentle giant. ! My Scottish deerhound was taller than Moose, she was hardly a giant
I think that’s an idea worth trying.

I know one time I saw someone else suggested to have the motor part of the blow dryer on the other side of the wall so that just the hose attachments come out and that would drastically reduce the noise level for the dogs to muffle it more.
@@danielleking262 also a good idea.
You're probably right it's the noise. He didn't mind the air on him.
What a sweetie pie! Good thing, too, because when he decided to walk away, you didn't even slow him down.🤣
I thought you'd stolen my dog for a video for a second there lol
My Ace looks just like Moose but a bit smaller.
😊
Loved Moose following you all over the room after the groom was finished. The look on his face was "I was a very good boy, you even said so, so can I have more treats??" LOL!!
He is the sweetest boy! He seemed to calm down pretty well once he got comfortable with you
I just discovered your channel, you are incredible with cats and dogs. You are very skilled and you put your self at their level. I ❤ your bravery and calmness including compassion towards these animals. Your clients should be very happy 🙂👍
Thank you,
Beautiful Mastiff, hope his hips are OK. 😊
I think sometimes the big "fierce" dogs just don't realise they've grown up and think they're still tiny pups. Bless you, Mr Moose and what an a perfect name 🤗
This dog has the most beautiful pattern and color coat.
You do such a nice job with these dogs. Kudos to you!
He adapted very well! Very sweet boy!
I have a cane Corso that looks just like moose and he has the same temperament as moose afraid of everything which is so funny cuz they are so big
And don't people get them for guardian dogs??
Corso apparently go through a sort of "fear stage" around the time they reach almost adult size, that might last a few weeks
Oh mine too! Biggest sook until it’s time to protect his family and home! Fiercely protective but loving and loyal to the bone ❤
@dovie2blue just because they are afraid of simple things does not.mean.they are docile. LOL try him.
@@angeljamais8541months! and then they come out of it and are very sensible adults by 2 years if you raise them right.
Ive been watching both channels for a long time. The way you handle all types of dogs just amazes me. Your knowledge of dogs is also amazing.
lol the name “moose” first made me chuckle. Then he’s such a cutie who just didn’t know how grooming could be not that bad and could be fun like getting a treat to getting brushed by a pretty gal just made me smile. 😊 He’s such a good natured big boy! ❤
Vanessa!!! I got the equi groomer for my 3 cats & may I say…WOW!!!! I thought I was doing great with a brush…but oh my Lord…piles & piles of hair!!! They will be Christmas presents for all my pet families!!!
