One kid said, "The sign doesn't say 'no razor scooters'", implying that it didn't pertain to him.
I told him that the sign means that you're not allowed to play here. There is a playground 2 blocks away.
I told them that this was a place of business, and the restrictions were for insurance reasons.
If someone got hurt, there would probably be a lawsuit, therefore the signs were put up forbidding it.
They finally left but were calling me all sorts of names.
