"At least have the decency to finish us off with a rock! "
Actual line in the movie that had me laughing my ass off.

The best part was when Arthur actually stopped to consider it for a moment 😂

This is such an underrated Christmas classic. It's been in our Christmas rotation for years now. Here's hoping this video continues to help this movie find a bigger audience

I love this movie. I saw it in theaters with my husband and have bought 2 copies cause we lost the 1st. We have a 4 yr old now, and I absolutely love giving gifts. This is the first year she's asked for stuff...I totally didn't cry to your video. Great video.

I remember when this came out when I was 1. I still watch it every Christmas to this day. It is better than it looks! TRUST ME. It fills me and my younger siblings with joy as we sit on the sofa next to the fire 😊

This is the first video I've seen of yours and this was great! I love this movie and have ever since I saw it in 2011. I think it's great that they don't just go, "Oh, this Claus relative is bad because blah blah and that makes him the villain." As you said, no one here is wrong. They all just have their own opinions and that's important for people to respect. We don't have to agree, but we can still respect one another. From animation to the score to the wonderful characters, this is actually my favorite Christmas movie. I'm so glad it's on Hulu this year (for anyone hoping to find it streaming somewhere). Merry Christmas!

Bit early this year, but I've spent about 5 years trying to convince people of how brilliant this movie is. Wonderful video essay.

Honestly, my job is so Christmas focused that I haven't enjoyed it in years. Maybe I'll set up a tree and watch some Christmas movies this year.

I intentionally shunned this when it played in theaters... partly as protest against Aardman turning their backs on the stop-motion they do so well for CGI ( at the time, I was unaware of the circumstances that forced Aardman to do this ), and partly because the ads, focusing on the super-efficient army of elves, made it look like they were just ripping off Disney's *Prep & Landing* shorts. After the Nostalgia Critic gave this such a glowing review, I decided to give it a chance. Now I'm sorry I didn't see this theatrically.

I really liked "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit:", and all the Wallace & Gromit shorts, but I always skipped "Arthur Christmas" figuring it was based on King Arthur and Merlin, where they visit the North Pole, or something like that. The name basically sounded generic, it seemed like those dollars store generic "Aladin" or "Mermaid" videos. "Oh, just another 'Arthur' story."
