I'm a new hobbyist, and i just got my first aquarium. It's a planted tank with some guppies, mollies, angels, and some other community fish, and some of them recently got ich. I heated the water, and the ich has disappeared, but it's been several days, and my fish keep dying. I can't understand why they keep dying? Some of them died before the ich, too. Does this happen with all new aquariums, or is something else wrong?
From the cheapest place online I found here in France it was inline with this @ 125 including tax and delivery but the "big name" pet sites wanted about 175 including delivery thats about the price of their scaper tanks at the cheaper sites TBH
In France the price Is from 99 euros online, some can be ordered into store from their website so no delivery charge But you get Brexit import taxes on it now
Lovely tank!! Just one suggestion - Turn the spray bar around to face the glass instead. Bettas like to breath air and having a strong current at the upper level of the tank, might cause them issues to come up.
I've bought the same tank in black about three years ago in local garden center. Last week the light broke and i ordered hygger led from Amazon. Nice set for little spaces, beginners and kids.

@@IronArk65 Hi, my perception of Rainbows is of a sedate fish that generally isn't constantly on the move around the tank. Whereas, the Tigers are a fast moving fish and can be a bit of a bully. So, Rainbows can be an ideal target for harassment from Tigers. Tigers need to be kept with other fast moving fish, such as Danios or larger Tetras. If it's Rainbows that are your first choice, then why not buy some Ruby barbs as tank mates.. You can get some really good red coloured ones and they are less troublesome.

I really like how the two tanks look next to each other. They almost look like they could be connected but at the same time separate. It would be really cool and interesting to watch your journey into betta breeding if you decide to do it. All the beta males you own have really pretty coloring so I wonder if any interesting colors would show up mixed with the females colors.

Beautiful and elegant design, yet easy enough for most people to do themselves. This reminds me that I really need to try using dragon stone in a scape. I have a nice pile of it in my studio that I acquired when the owner of my local fish store retired and closed his shop, but I haven't used it yet. Now, I'm determined to rectify that. I also have a betta sorority tank, six girls in a tank the same size! I am thinking of doing a makeover of the tank and might try to recreate what you did with this tank because the stem plants in the current one is taking over and trimming it doesn’t seem to be enough.
I actually have this exact same tank. It was my first ever aquarium and I converted it into a saltwater aquarium. I have one Gold Stripe Maroon Clownfish and one plain Maroon. Two royal grammas and a hermit crab. Absolutely amazing budget that doesn’t rinse your money. I bought it for £100 in February.
Those "stress stripes" are part of their natural coloring if you look up wild Betta Splendens. It's not so much that they're "stressed" per se but just a natural defense mechanism when coming into a new environment to blend into the background.
I noticed you had a Cryp. Balansae in a pot whilst you were showing us some tanks in the beginning of the video. I think it would look great once settle in and growing new stems in the left side rear of this tank.
If you just spray the glue with water, it’ll make it set faster. I’ve glued down so many coral and when I want to speed up the process, I dip the coral in my tank to make the glue set faster.

I´ve got blue dream shrimp in this tank. But I´m moving them to a Juwel Primo of the same volume soon. Around the same price actually, but doesn´t come with the little extra accessories. Just the tank, light, lid, filter and heater. Btw, the lid of a Primo aquarium is similar, but works like it has a hinge in the back. The Superfish lid you have to lift up to get it out of the way, but the Primo lid just hinges on the back and you can have it rest against the wall.
Hi I want to setup a nano planted tank. So Which substrate and soil is best for a nano tank and which light is best for low tech plants? Which filter should I use? Which fertilizer? If I use substrate and aqua soil, Do I still need to use root tabs?
If you're in the US, you can get a 2 pack of gel super glue from the dollar tree... It's the same stuff. Also you can activate it with just a spray (mist setting) of water from a spray bottle.... Which you can also get from the dollar tree.

Hey MD I don’t know if you’ll see this but I have a question. I just started my third tank a month and a half ago and have run into a problem. I put a bristle nose and some khuli loaches at week 3, and then a week ago I added 6 black neons. I wake up this morning and my neons have ick. It’s a 20 gallon planted tank. What would you do to treat without hurting my loaches?

I would be wary of keeping Tiger barbs with Rainbows, especially fancy finned Rainbows. Tiger's are notorious fin nippers.

Those lines in females are normal and when they are ready to mate the turn then vertical instead of horizontal.

Only for breeding brother, never ever turns out good when it's more than that.
