Sounded good! I just bought a 300l yesterday, it came with the black widow full exhaust and is very, very loud, even though it has the db killer on it, am going to see if I can find a way to make it a little quieter
I can’t remember the brand name. I have had them a long time. I originally bought them for an XR400 in the mid 90s and just hung on to them I made an aluminum bark buster that is inside. The strip lights are from Amazon. Let me know if you need info on the lights. I will provide the link
@@hunteralgie746 Ive got a Euro 2023 300L and once I removed the exhaust cap, it was all welded together and you couldn't disassemble it any further. Id be surprised if this is the case only for the Euro version though
Just did this on my 23 tonight. Definitely doable, just had to grind around a bit to split the 2 metals, then chisel and it separates with some work. Instant smiles after reinstallation
I did this and haven't had a issue at all. Gives it a little more sound so it don't sound like a scooter lol

Looking for a little more air flow until I get a new exhaust. It’s performing pretty well right now.
I did it for a lil bit more exhaust tone I was going to do a full exhaust but decided not to do it to this bike

Does doing this melt your stock indicators? read that removing the spark arrestor would melt the stock indicators.
Sorry. Can’t really answer that. The very first mod I made was switching the tail tidy and indicators.

This only works for US spec bikes :(
I think you made your exhaust more restrictive unless you removed the cap or drill it out
I have since changed to a yoshimura exhaust
