    That pre-match explanation of the Aegislash combo was actually really helpful, and I honestly think it would be nice in the future for Pokémon move combos that require more mastery. One in particular that comes to mind would be ESpeed and BRush on Lucario, but overall I think it would be helpful to have a moment to teach the gameplay a bit beforehand for these types of videos. Keep up the good work, Content Cowboy!

      I was going to say something similar. There are some Pokémon that can be really devastating if people understand the combo(s) or useless if they don’t. I always hate seeing Pokémon like Mew, Aegislash, or Zoroark on my team because they usually do terribly for that reason.

    This mostly shows how important it is to be patient and level headed in Unite, and even more restrained with Aegislash. The amount of engages where you left with charges still available was many, but the key is you didn't die much. My team mates always want to use every last charge until they're left as sitting ducks and get chased down by the opponent.

      Why not sacred sword then wide guard? The stun usually stalls enough for another sacred sword unless it’s ranged.

  • @UniteClimbing
    @UniteClimbing Год назад +12

    This combo is great but sacred sword is always better. Great advice, always ALWAYS keep wide guard on cooldown for big encounters!
    Edit: not using attack weight on Aegi in lane should be a criminal offence. Insane secure and mobility with boosted autos

      Ikr? I was so confused by this video. Why is he teaching people how to use shadow claw when he could have taught people how to use sacred sword? Also why is he running two sustain items? Its not too bad but he should replace one with aw, aegi's shield and heals scale off of attack stat anyway, its not like hes missing out on sustain by running aw.

    You can also throw in a basic attack after engaging with shadow claw. Shadow claw - basic- wide guard - basic - shadow claw and rip the basics out

  • @RainEragon
    @RainEragon Год назад +2

    If you're in sword form and know you're not going to be ambushed, engaging with a boosted attack then follow up with either Claw or Guard is also pretty effective. Since the execution is fast and will put you behind the target, it can secure you a good position for K.O while the target still hasn't thrown a counterattack, and you would still have the full battle option available for you.

  • @mas8705
    @mas8705 Год назад +2

    I will admit that I do the shield and sword combo when I see squishy targets. Just a nice and easy way to melt them and get them out of the way asap so you can turn your attention elsewhere.
    However, against defenders and other targets with lots of HP, I can see how using sword first then shield as a means to engage them and try to have them burn their moves before going all in. It can suck when you’re in attack mode and they start to stun you to death.

    I mained aegislash after seeing that it can dash behind opponent goal zone and wipe everyone.
    But It's harder to play after the nerf. Plus pokemons like delphox, mew are hard to reach.
    Using more auto dash shield saves a lot in team fights. Switch to shield if you are being attacked, then change to sword when opponent are on cd.

    Hello, this is a definite improvement! The information is useful and I think the segment should stay for good just like midway point. The graphical elements are GREAT very clean very appealing. Overall, you should show us more options to switch up the build- maybe another segment near the ending...which items are must have for that build? which items are situational? and also which to avoid. Another great topic you should cover (and you actually did vaguely at one point) is what are the stat caps for each individual character. Thank you for making content.

Kukie got bent out of shape and dissed me by saying, "I'm sick of these random tanks being allergic to team fights" when Kukie got less than 70k healing and the streamer was off beefing with another player all game... I got MVP as Mamo because I was doing my best to help the team... All I wanted was a good game.

      Gale wings increases Talon flame speed by 10% when it is high hp. Like over 95% hp I think. Very good ability. Since being high hp is very common. Gengar is similar because he has Levitate. But Levitate works when Gengar is out of combat for 5 seconds like a float stone but it is for 10%. That's why i wanted to know if speed buffs stack because I wasnt sure if they did.
