I watch a few scambaiter channels and the way these guys acted are pretty much identical. Empty threats with a time limit to create a false sense of urgency, cheap browser editing tricks, sticking to scripts, and of course the signature scammer rage and persistence.
Huge congratulations for not folding when they pulled out the threats- a lot of people cave when scammers get to that part (to no fault of theirs- fear is an effective tool unfortunately).

Omg I’m so glad I saw this. These same two jackasses tried to lure me with the Runelite pro scam. I knew exactly what was going on, so I decided to mess with them. I acted like I was absolute shit at PvM and worked with them, making them throw mils away as I acted like I was accidentally throwing our ToA runs. I would consistently say “i don’t need the pro thing yet, I got this.” And I could tell they were seething, but hoping I’d eventually cave, they kept going.
Eventually, I said “man, I could really use some better plugins.” And both the guys lit up and instantly started linking me the program. When they asked me to screen share to download it, I instead pulled up a gif of furry porn. They blocked and deleted me after that, but not before throwing a little hissy fit, slinging every slur in the book my way. Thank god I have parents that love me and raised me right.

I've had a couple encounters over the years from other games like GTA Online that threatened me in the exact same way, and nothing ever happens.
