I got banned for doing the jojo3000 lure prior to Jagex banning them. I appealed and was unbanned since my infraction was before the rule change. Anyways, I don't know if OSRS kept that same rule. It's social engineering and really the easiest way to avoid being lured is to never hop to PVP worlds and don't engage in things that seem to good to be true. They WANT you to think you can outsmart them like Pip or KempQ but the lure will incorporate parts of this anti-lure into it to further gain your trust until they get you for the big item. A t-bow is 1-2% of the cash they lost attempting this lure, they can lose a bit more to get it. These people RWT and live off the money made doing this, they take it very seriously.
I'm not entirely convinced KempQ isn't part of the luring or being paid by them, honestly. One pattern I've noticed in pretty much all the anti luring videos is they never touch on animation stalls dragging you out of safe zones. Pip is one of the first I've seen actually show that part.
The lure at ferox, you stand in the "safe zone" but they use an account that is teleblocked to hit you as you can PVP if teleblocked in that area. Therefore no trade is required. You get tbed in a safe zone. And can't reenter for 5 mins.
A great way to lure the lurers is when they get you to hop to loot the impossible arcane is have a friend in basic pvp gear who is pre teleblocked to tb the dude on the bridge in the Scythe and torva when they tell you to hop. Requires 3 accs tho. One to tb your friend. One being lured and your friend to kill the dude risking 2b

For anyone who doesn't know. This is how the lure at the end works. They get you to open up a trade with them and they want you to show that you have your expensive items there. Then they put up the gilded/sceptre. When you go to remove your items from the trade screen they will decline the trade after they see you remove your items. They are hoping that it will cause you to misclick and run out into the dangerous area and will kill you. That's also not to say they won't try a stall on you as well, they likely use both.
the lure with the maxed guy in blood torva is exactly how i lost my Tbow. I was stupidly playing along, knowing full well what they were doing, and trying to get as much as i could before leaving. Then I mis-clicked outside the door of Shilo bank. The moral of the story is to be VERY careful, even if you know what they're doing, it's very easy to make a mistake and lose your bank. Don't make the mistake I did. Ignore them and go and play the game for your GP.
Yeah this is a big thing to take away from these videos, a lot of people see them and think they can anti-lure. The lurers know that and try to anti-anti-lure, playing off the confidence of people thinking they are dumb. Im sorry for your loss

My favorite lures are the ToA plugin lures. I just tell them I've never done ToA, and that I wouldn't want to slow down their 450 runs. They try SO HARD to convince me I'm good enough for their team. I always reply with "Idk I don't even have an Infernal cape" 😂
You can actually get the arcane from that lure, just requires for you to know this lure and ignore the first loot pile and just spam clicking the arcane as soon as he moves on the 2nd tile
Most of these account are hacked accounts. They use these high level high status accounts to help lull you into security. I've been attempted lure on, with a 2k total HCIM as the spoonsailor guy. And a maxed account as the killer. With a low level that had 40 def, 70~ hp 70 range and mage 43 prayer as the rare item give away guy that you are "anti luring"
Rip tbow, those are the most scummiest scams out there. They get you to trust them first then pressure you when the stakes are high. The maxed account double name changed to "sijfer" so report him for scamming and hope he gets muted, since they can probably appeal bans easily while mutes stop them from luring

You know better but you want to play along cuz you're curious and you start getting offended that someone would try to scam you so you're thinking ya know what. ima anti scam them and rub it in so now you got the thrill of the chase mixed in and thats what they are counting on- hence all the talking out loud in the open about how "obvious this scam is". now you start getting greedy and its a power play, you lost the moment you decided to play
No the "nice real player" iron man who logs in to tell you not to telegrab is also part of the lure. Theyre still convicing you that the telegrab IS the lure, when in reality there's 5 layers to the scam. Eventually, you will be out the safezone via trading or some other method. Never. Ever. Engage. There is no such thing as anti-luring. Anybody trying this on you is in a massive team with 100s of successful lures done. They know what theyre doing.
I’ve had this exact one tried on me a few times now I usually take the items from the first round and tell them I have to go for a little bit and delete them and turn private to friends for a few days there’s definitely a few groups that do this. Makes you wonder how often they are actually successful
Dude i remember me and some random guy doing this years ago, he also told me to grab the stuff underneath and there was also an arcane dropped near where i spam clicked, but i missed it. This lure has been out for years!!! I did get whips too, thought it was a lucky day for me. Now looking back I realised they tried to lure me too.
they aswell use multiple accounts with almost same name and close by teleport spot from bank to get you out of the bank. so 2 talkers with similar names, sends you a trade underneath the main talker, then teleports to the same area and you walk outside the bank so they can kill you.
The last lure is a piece of ****. He is Dutch; he tried to lure me as well. When you expose them in-game, they will spam you in the Grand Exchange by calling your account a scammer and saying that you will send a virus over Discord. They also blackmail you to stop the spam.
This was hilarious. Some guy (or group) tried that same elaborate lure on me before... after logging in and picking up the whips but missing the d claws in stage 1, I just ghosted the guy! Amazing!

Sick video, thanks ! There is a dude on 580 Ferox who comes around through the day luring people left right and center. Claims hes Mr Beast. Im not brave enough to test it out as i got out smarted trying to anti lure before. This dude is a character though, i call him the hispanic mr beast, as when i call him out each time he curses me out with 8 lines of spanish and english curse words. Even with me calling him out he was able to grab a victim.
It is possible to get the shield, you just have to not have a boomer reaction time. Firstly you get some black dhide and basic tank gear, brews etc. next you stand in the spot and wait for the lurer to drop the items, you ignore these items if you pick them up you cant get the expensive one. The lurer will drop some stuff and then move, make sure your attack options are off and as soon as you see him move instantly move under him and spam click. You will get the arcane or expensive item. You will also massively piss them off and get spam reported and added to a list to spam your name at ge that youre a lurer. Pointless though and worth for 130m plus. Only works once per account, also dont attempt this if you are an idiot since you will probably find a way to lose your stuff.
Yeah, thats true. But I would not try this if you do not know what you are doing, you are just going to get anti-anti lured and lose your bank. It's fun to try tho. The GE spam if you foil their lure or piss them off lasts about 8 months to a year then usually stops, they tell you if you pay them off they will stop. Do not pay them off, everyone knows why your name is getting spammed and most people see it as a badge of honor unless they are an oblivious noob. Also for the people that don't know, the lurer dropping the items is the same guy thats pming you and trying to anti lure the original lurer dropping the items. These guys been doing this lure a long time they tried the exact thing on me 3 years ago, asked to buy feathers to go on friends list then tried social engineering to lure me into a pvp world where they dropped arcane shield+bgs. Good video man, this has been going on for years. I've seen a few similar videos in the past by creators, and usually the comments are not too favorable. These lurers rely on content creators making videos about luring so new people will feel safe to anti lure. The lurers then change the methods they use, and have a whole new set of people trying to anti lure. There have been creators in the past who have been caught being paid out by the lurers. If you watched this video, as pip said - do not try this yourself. You will end up getting lured and losing your shit. These lurers do this every single hour of the day, they sell the gp and this is their living. DO NOT TRY TO ANTI LURE, THEY WILL OUTPLAY YOU AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SHIT.
I lost a tbow to the "make friends and anti lure together." I worked a 15 hour shift, logged on to do some tbow rebuild sara and got greedy and let them lure me... All I needed was a house tab too and I would've been fine but hindsight is 20/20. Learned a valuable 1b lesson. 😂

This happened to me like 5 years ago but the whole thing was so disgustingly planned it's insane and I'm dumb as fuck for falling for it at that time. After I had been on a break, I came back to OSRS just to chill again when some guy approached me in GE cause my name was familiar (same country, same language) to him. This is how he got me to get comfy with him and it's kinda insane that something so little as talking in a common language with someone else makes you drop your guard, even if it's a little bit. Anyway, we talked for hours, and then he explained that his friend was hosting giveaways with trivia questions and small games etc with rewards (basically his whole friend circle was in on this luring scheme) and he invited me. So I figured alright I mean he seems cool and who knows maybe I'll make some new friends after coming back to OSRS with my old friends having stopped playing. Anyway, he introduces me to them, they're like 7-10 people and we literally do the trivia quizzes, hide and seek, you name it to gain my trust. The last game and prize was a huge one, naturally as they've spent hours and hours buttering me up etc and seeming really friendly, nice & helpful, the last game they say that they'll go to a PvP world for the last game. We all go up to the Kourend bank, the host tells us all (the others are in on this, so basically just to bait me) to trade him our most valuable items and whoever trades first wins. The highest value trader is also factored into this and wins the game, so they all trade and I'm still very suspicious like I feel something is wrong but I really don't know why I go through with it, cause I traded them once really quick and ran to the bank as it is safe to stand there. When I did trade however, he/she said someone else was leading currently to basically bait me to go get more valuable stuff out of the bank. Anyway, I stood there and said it's fine someone else can win it etc I'm good. They do a U-turn and try to convince me that I won actually etc and this is when the dude who introduced me to his scamming gang tried convincing me in our language which we both speak to go trade him for my reward and show him the stuff again. He persuades me and they PK me, freeze, tb everything. I quit OSRS that day and I felt stupid af. To this day I think he's still on my friendslist but probably has changed it multiple times. Fucked up, and I was stupid, I felt like shit afterwards, lost up to 300m or so, even more perhaps which was a lot at that time for me. Edit: Just like the video, they were all max lvl to make it seem legit as well, using guilt trips to make the person feel bad and everything.
Tbh pip bringing light to these dirtbags is honestly helping out their cause by drawing more attention to them. More and more people will think they can mess with them/anti lure when in reality these lurers have many different ways to get you that aren’t always shown (even tho you tell your viewers not to)

These lures work because people see youtube videos of anti-lures, and they think they can also anti. These people have 6 layers of the lure ready. If you mess up at any point, you lose your stuff. If these people realize it's a youtuber, they will let themselves get anti'ed to give viewers confidence. Do NOT try to anti. Just ignore. Most of these account are hacked accounts. They use these high level high status accounts to help lull you into security. I've been attempted lure on, with a 2k total HCIM as the spoonsailor guy. And a maxed account as the killer. With a low level that had 40 def, 70~ hp 70 range and mage 43 prayer as the rare item give away guy that you are "anti luring"
The lure the maxed cape account guy was doing is what got me a few months ago, they got me for my t bow

I’ve had this exact one tried on me a few times now I usually take the items from the first round and tell them I have to go for a little bit and delete them and turn private to friends for a few days there’s definitely a few groups that do this. Makes you wonder how often they are actually successful
Dude i remember me and some random guy doing this years ago, he also told me to grab the stuff underneath and there was also an arcane dropped near where i spam clicked, but i missed it. This lure has been out for years!!! I did get whips too, thought it was a lucky day for me. Now looking back I realised they tried to lure me too.
they aswell use multiple accounts with almost same name and close by teleport spot from bank to get you out of the bank. so 2 talkers with similar names, sends you a trade underneath the main talker, then teleports to the same area and you walk outside the bank so they can kill you.
The last lure is a piece of ****. He is Dutch; he tried to lure me as well. When you expose them in-game, they will spam you in the Grand Exchange by calling your account a scammer and saying that you will send a virus over Discord. They also blackmail you to stop the spam.

It is possible to get the shield, you just have to not have a boomer reaction time. Firstly you get some black dhide and basic tank gear, brews etc. next you stand in the spot and wait for the lurer to drop the items, you ignore these items if you pick them up you cant get the expensive one. The lurer will drop some stuff and then move, make sure your attack options are off and as soon as you see him move instantly move under him and spam click. You will get the arcane or expensive item. You will also massively piss them off and get spam reported and added to a list to spam your name at ge that youre a lurer. Pointless though and worth for 130m plus. Only works once per account, also dont attempt this if you are an idiot since you will probably find a way to lose your stuff.
Yeah, thats true. But I would not try this if you do not know what you are doing, you are just going to get anti-anti lured and lose your bank. It's fun to try tho. The GE spam if you foil their lure or piss them off lasts about 8 months to a year then usually stops, they tell you if you pay them off they will stop. Do not pay them off, everyone knows why your name is getting spammed and most people see it as a badge of honor unless they are an oblivious noob.
Also for the people that don't know, the lurer dropping the items is the same guy thats pming you and trying to anti lure the original lurer dropping the items. It's all the same person or the same group of people, they are all in on it.

These guys been doing this lure a long time they tried the exact thing on me 3 years ago, asked to buy feathers to go on friends list then tried social engineering to lure me into a pvp world where they dropped arcane shield+bgs. I had my alt ready to log under them and grab it but only got the bgs (this was before the drop log changes). Such a bunch of scumbags.

Good video man, this has been going on for years. I've seen a few similar videos in the past by creators, and usually the comments are not too favorable. These lurers rely on content creators making videos about luring so new people will feel safe to anti lure. The lurers then change the methods they use, and have a whole new set of people trying to anti lure. There have been creators in the past who have been caught being paid out by the lurers. If you watched this video, as pip said - do not try this yourself. You will end up getting lured and losing your shit. These lurers do this every single hour of the day, they sell the gp and this is their living. DO NOT TRY TO ANTI LURE, THEY WILL OUTPLAY YOU AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SHIT.

Wow a couple of years ago someone tried this exact lure on me, first time dude said log In I got an AGS and missed the arcane, next time I had to be the bait and the dude in the disc call would pick up the loot, I wouldn’t trade the lurer and guy starts flaming me in disc. Glad I didn’t get lured lol
This happened to me like 5 years ago but the whole thing was so disgustingly planned it's insane and I'm dumb as fuck for falling for it at that time. After I had been on a break, I came back to OSRS just to chill again when some guy approached me in GE cause my name was familiar (same country, same language) to him. This is how he got me to get comfy with him and it's kinda insane that something so little as talking in a common language with someone else makes you drop your guard, even if it's a little bit. Anyway, we talked for hours, and then he explained that his friend was hosting giveaways with trivia questions and small games etc with rewards (basically his whole friend circle was in on this luring scheme) and he invited me. So I figured alright I mean he seems cool and who knows maybe I'll make some new friends after coming back to OSRS with my old friends having stopped playing. Anyway, he introduces me to them, they're like 7-10 people and we literally do the trivia quizzes, hide and seek, you name it to gain my trust. The last game and prize was a huge one, naturally as they've spent hours and hours buttering me up etc and seeming really friendly, nice & helpful, the last game they say that they'll go to a PvP world for the last game. We all go up to the Kourend bank, the host tells us all (the others are in on this, so basically just to bait me) to trade him our most valuable items and whoever trades first wins. The highest value trader is also factored into this and wins the game, so they all trade and I'm still very suspicious like I feel something is wrong but I really don't know why I go through with it, cause I traded them once really quick and ran to the bank as it is safe to stand there. When I did trade however, he/she said someone else was leading currently to basically bait me to go get more valuable stuff out of the bank. Anyway, I stood there and said it's fine someone else can win it etc I'm good. They do a U-turn and try to convince me that I won actually etc and this is when the dude who introduced me to his scamming gang tried convincing me in our language which we both speak to go trade him for my reward and show him the stuff again. He persuades me and they PK me, freeze, tb everything. I quit OSRS that day and I felt stupid af. To this day I think he's still on my friendslist but probably has changed it multiple times.
Fucked up, and I was stupid, I felt like shit afterwards, lost up to 300m or so, even more perhaps which was a lot at that time for me.
Edit: Just like the video, they were all max lvl to make it seem legit as well, using guilt trips to make the person feel bad and everything.
