Years and years and years ago, I had a wonderful stylist that actually foiled my front sides like that. I had moved some years ago to a new state and have tried to explain the technique to stylists. Let's just say no one even tried to understand what I wanted. I would have rather they say that they don't know what I'm talking about, rather than say ok and just do the typical out of school foil technique. I am so glad that I found this video, honestly by chance. I wasn't even looking at any hair videos. I will save this and see if someone can do this. I have had my hair done wrong over and over, with bad jobs ( hair ended up being extremely damaged, typical story I know) so I just decided to go back to my natural hair color of dark brown. It's been almost 3 years. Thank you for this video!!
Such a beautiful result I get really frustrated with how long it takes me to foil so I think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and try foiling backwards !
I love that you don’t skimp on those almost baby hairs by the ears. There’s nothing worse than a black hole there when you pull your hair up! Great video!!
I did my first highlight on a client I wasn't happy with it. I struggle with the hairline. Its tough for me I wanna be great but I struggle with my technique
It was your first highlight. The sheer fact your on RUclips looking for tutorials to better your technique shows you your going to be an amazing hair stylist. Im assuming your first highlight means you are in school and your client came to a school to get their hair done so they really can't expect perfection. Your new. You're going to do some, execuse my French, shitty work. It's what you do to learn from it that matters. This the main reason I started my channel. Make sure to subscribe to see more in-depth videos. Thank you for watching!
@@CourtneyBStylisteducation thank you I'm still learning yes color formulation is hard for me trying to create a strawberry blonde on a client soon. Using swarzkopf igora vibrance test stranded her to a level 8. Trying to figure out how much copper to add or gold or red
Love your idea foiling backward close to the roots and non slip. Thank you Courtney.
Its so easy once you got it down! Thanks for watching!
