Adewale is meant to be Shay's old mentor so either he or Connor will be the final boss but I think it's more likely to be Ade because as his mentor their is likely to be more bad blood between them.
Mr Timo3 I doubt connor would be in the game. But if he does appear, that would be awesome.

This is without a doubt a dark twist on the concept of Assassin's Creed. What I'm most interested in is what drove an Assassin to turn on his brothers in arms.
One thing I learned from Assassin's Creed is that you can jump from everywhere and you won't die, well most of the times ;)

Yeah I know, aha, but Connor became an Assassin in AC3, he wasn't one before, so this is before he became an assassin so it's Achilles.
And I knew about him dying already, I completed the game about 2 days (maybe less I think) after it came out :P

Well, glad to hear he does actually sound sort of Irish, unlike Edward who was meant to be Welsh and didn't sound Welsh at all. I look forwards to the Jacobite uprising Assassins Creed where we will need subtitles for anyone who finds it difficult to understand a Scottish accent. XD
lol Edward's voice actor was a Welshman from Swansea. He was speaking in his native accent.

the main character should have been Achilles trying to hunt down Shay and Haytham and explaining how he managed to survive and become the last assassin in the colonies.

Y'all didn't see Conner you saw Achilles before he retired and on 0:57 you saw adewale in this game the timeline is set before ac3 .and after ac4 and those who are confused ac4 happened before ac3

Interesting. Achilles will make an appearance in Rogue! I think that Shay and his Templar friends will (almost) obliterate the Colonial assassins leading into the events of Assassin's Creed 3 with only Achilles begging for mercy.

Looks cool but have they actually added any new combat animations? Because they all look the same from Black Flag and I thought the animations were crap in that. I'd rather they just copy the animations from AC3 than Black Flag if they're not going to make new ones, because at least they looked awesome.
I actually prefer the Black Flag animations. They felt a lot more smooth than the ones in 3. In 3 it felt like they didn't quite get the animations down in the new engine, but in 4 it felt more refined
TheFryBoy1 I beg to differ. Running animations in 4 were fine but new combat ones felt less... meaty than the ones in 3.
Besides, the majority of animations were taken directly from AC3 and they only added new walking/sprint and stuff for new weapons.
ThePreciseClimber I felt the animations in 3 were too janky for my taste, and were improved upon. But this is just all a matter of opinion in the end

Agree, even tough AC3 was my least favorite one and I think AC4 is a step forward in many ways, the fighting animation is one thing that I prefer AC3 the most, it's fast , brutal, flow, and have more weight to it.(and the double-counter is happen more often.)
Not to mention that the sound is a little off in AC4, Edward slice a guy throat 2 second before a slice's sound kick in, it really pull you out of the experience.

I can understand the reason for this game because of the present day story, now we're playing as an employee in Abstergo Entertainment, they're obviously going to prefer to look into a Templars history rather than an Assassins history. Hope more happens in the present day story in Rogue, ACIV's present day was a bit of a letdown.

I think Achilles was his mentor because that was the special suit you get in ac3.
The game is set in the time where a Achilles would still be assassining, maybe Shay is the downfall of the Assassins in America.

I can't wait for Rogue and Unity. One is dark and full of hate, the other is pure and full of light but Rogue makes the assassin's look grey. If you look at the title you'll see a ' symbol means the whole franchise is more to do about the creed and what the assassins stand for not the assassins themselves, so Rogue is still AC because the creed is still there it is just being looked at from a different angle. Some people must be scared of the truth. What if Rogue shows us that the assassins are not all good as we thought, back in AC1 they were made out to be noble but time changes everything, Altair drove the assassins into the shadows and across the world and left Masyaf so the brotherhood could survive. Think how many innocents and non Templars have been killed so far, none of the guards/soldiers killed are Templars, they're only killed for being in the way, how many non Templars and non assassins are killed during their war that has gone on longer than any war. So are assassins just as bad as the Templars then when even their tenet says not to harm the innocent when innocents are indirectly caught up in the war. Aren't guards/soldiers innocent because they're only doing their duty and have no part in this war, they just get dragged into it as the pawns. This is why I think Rogue will be as awesome as Unity as it will show the assassins in a all new fresh light, anyone who doesn't like change and think of assassins as noble heroes who won't harm a fly should stick with the previous ac games and then count how many non Templars they kill ;)
Forgot to point out all Rogue is really is Revelations to Ezio's trilogy, that tied up loose ends and ended the trilogy to make way for a new chapter in the series, so Rogue is tying up loose ends to the Kenway trilogy to make way for a new chapter (Unity), Revelations and AC3 was linked from Desmond, so Rogue and Unity will be linked too in some way
The fact is there are no good or bad sides. they are simply 2 different Ideoligies. Its only in some circumstance where this was not the case (Borgia's rule for example, which even the Templars judge as a dark era for their order, because he simply wanted power for himself).

Well, unlike all these cry babies that are complaining about being a Templar, I for one am looking forward to this coming out.

Ubisoft said they didn't want to make a spin off game like Templars Creed because it would be to much trouble and they have said that they have wanted fans to see the other side (not the evil side) just the different side of the war.

Shay can't actually die in Rogue because then his memories would not be accessable in the animus because he has to pass on his genes to a child. And if he had a child before he died then the animus starts following the child's life not Shay. So he must kill Adewale and defeat Achilles. All AC protagonists have to survive their game and have a child for us to be able to play them.

They aren't the same, but they are definitely strikingly similar. Still, it looks cool so I don't mind.

Just looking at the comments, no-one seems to like the idea of playing as a Templar. Huh.
But please, let's not grab pitchforks and torches just yet shall we? Who knows you might even like it. I didn't like the idea of killing the British Redcoats in AC3 mainly because I am British but I thought "Hey, lets give it a shot anyway, who knows? I may even enjoy myself" No I didn't enjoy myself lol but at least I gave it a shot and TRIED it. And if you are worried about wasting money well just go look up a walk through by someone, then you can decide on the game. The point is the AC franchise has actually bothered to make us a last-gen game, so lets just give it a try and be grateful.

Okay Evreryone! Pay attention! To all of you that sais that Connor will be a boss or in the game, you are wrong! The timeline doesnt fit. And everyone who sais achillies was in the trailer, no he wasnt. If you pause the video, you can see that its an assassin with white skin and a fancy mustache. But if u played ac3, u will know that the first assassin of the colonies gave his robes achillies, so its not achillies you see, its the first assassin of the colonies.

900Hotch yes it was, Achilles was the Assassin mentor of this time period (as he mentions in AC3) and he was the only surviving assassin at the end of the 7 years war when they were all wiped out (by shay) so the dates match up, that is Achilles.

It's not meant to be "Next Gen" game it's for Xbox 360 because Assassins creed Unity is only for Next gen consoles, this is just to keep us oldies happy.

The only next gen game I've played so far that has amazing graphics is Infamous: Second Son and First Light. I'm still kinda used to both types.
you're on a next gen console so graphics are better because it has a better engine and systems so looking back to previous graphics look crap in comparison, sure we all thought PS2 and all previous gen consoles had good graphics for their time, that what happens to technology, it changes
