They ruined all the horror aspects of the Valak character that James Wan built, The Nun series made Valak look like a cheap ghost and monster instead of a creepy mysterious demon
Christ blesses a cup or chalice of wine during the last supper and gave it to his disciples saying "take this, all of you, and drink from it for this is the cup of my blood. The blood of the new and eternal covenant which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins." which not only blesses the wine but turns it into the holiest of all relics being the blood of Jesus Christ himself.
@amrgaly it's like a puzzle for sure...imo i think your right they are decendents of Saint Lucy for sure.....Don't forget about Lorraines daughter she has the gifts too Conjuring 1 when she saw bathsheba in the chair with Annabelle and annabelle comes home she had that good spirit that guided her on the stairs to the doll...She says not all ghosts are bad then follows him....He looked like a priest? Could be a relative linked to the family's past .I think she will get a bigger role in the next Conjuring flick and give us more of the connection... just imo tho
