In this video, we are taking a look at new automated drone photo editing software that was just made available this morning called AirMagic. It is from Skylum and really takes the daunting and sometimes complicated task of editing drone aerial photography. The AirMagic engine can detect what drone the image was captured on and adjust its processing according to create some really stunning aerial shots. If you want drone photos that really pop without spending hours editing then definitely take a look at this new software. In this video, I do a basic walkthrough of its features and show samples of what it can do.

I wonder how different this is than processing in Skylum's PhotoLemur software? It looks like they tweaked PhotoLemur to optimize it for photos containing sky and ground/water. It would be interesting to process the same drone photo through both and see the differences.
Thanks for the info. I look forward to giving it a try. Being able to quickly (and smartly) fix drone photos would be very helpful. If you offered support for processing drone video, I would be first in line to get a copy...hint, hint, hint.
What the heck are they doing with the sky? It does look really really ugly... Sadly the same on Luminar with its Sky Enhance

Hi, have a look at Lightroom cc, it’s free, works on iPads and does a pretty reasonable job ( in my opinion)
I just bot my email today. Yes, it is $39 preorder and it appears it will be $184 that is linked out in the add. I have not decided to buy it yet as most of those things I do with Aurora. This will be great for someone just getting started with drones. If I were I would I sure order it.

I dont think its very good at all. Seems like its for people who know zero about photography. Its over processed and blown out dynamic range on the sky. Stay far away and get yourself educated with some sort of real editing program like Affinity or even the ripoff Adobe.
You are exactly right this is designed for people who don’t Have the time or the want to learn a complicated program like light room. It’s not for everybody especially if you like to tweak things yourself. But I think it does a pretty decent job. The samples I was using in the video sometimes it’s hard to tell a camera recording a video screen tends to Make things look even more unnatural, but in person they look pretty decent
