Jeven Dovey Hey Jeven ! Id love to purchase Final Cut Pro but the link wont let me. At check out they somehow want business information as if this wasn’t meant to be purchased by a private household... what can I do to get this awsome Programm because I dont want to spend 400$ on the Apple Final Cut Pro. Or am I mixing this up and your Programm is just an addition to the apple program? Kind regards, Luisa
What are Drone laws or rules for taking drones to Mexico? On an airplane and through TSA? Please please please
Thanks J, Always helpful stuff. Heart of a teacher.
This was the most informative 4 minutes on youtube I have ever seen ☺️
Great shots of Veracruz Pico de Orizaba!!
+Suriel Ramzal thank you so much! Did you see my short film on the climb?
This is great advice thanks Jeven. Just picked up a Mavic Air last week before a trip to Costa Rica in a month. Was feeling a little lost on what to do but now I've seen your tips I know the practice I need to get done.
Jeven thanks for the help brother, a lot of the settings have been working for me that you suggested. Cheers & happy flying
Loved how well thought out and thorough this tutorial was. I'm taking notes as I'm new to these types of videos! If anyones interested, I just posted a video about my thoughts of the Mavic Air from an adventure filmmakers perspective. I had the Polarpro filters as well, I love them! Cheers!
This is the first video that i´ve seen so far without choppy quality. So thanks for this. Well done!
thumbs up, thank's Denver I was looking for this cinematic colors, video will be great from now on
Thank You!
hey Jeven. great video. I bought my mavic air today. Going to the beach in 1 hour. So excited.
Awesome Video! Keep them coming🔥🔥
Great job man, kudos to your synthetic skills
Thank You so much!! 😊😊😊😊
Just got my first drone, a Mavic Air, and can’t thank you enough for this super helpful range of tutorials. Nice job 👍👍👍
You are a very good communicator. Best to you and your adventures.
Awesome tutorial and lots of great tips! Cheers.
Thanks! Happy Flying
Thanks Jeven for your awesome tutorial!! Is your LUT going to be available again? Thanks again! 👍😊
Very impressive ‘how to's’ it's great to come across a channel with no-nonsense advice explained in a clear & non-shouty way, congratulations on your content man.
Just found your channel yesterday and I really appreciate your time and effort to make these videos and to share your knowledge! That is very nice, helpful and very cool! I just bought a DJI mavic air and I've never used a drone before and so far the information you've shared has been very helpful! Thank you!
Beautiful shots
Hi Jeven - I really love all your Mavic Air tutorials. I just bought a Mavic Air a few weeks ago and they've really helped me learn how to fly it! I have a question though - I just shot some footage this morning - some in 1080 120fps for slow mo and some in 2.7K 24fps. The 24fps footage looks great, but the 1080 is really grainy and has an almost TV static look to it. Have you seen this before? Just wondering if I maybe have a setting wrong? (I had the shutter at 240). Thanks!
Always shoot on 4K even if you plan to edit in publish in 1080. This drone does not look nearly as good when shooting in 1080. Also unless you are shooing high speed action subjects, lower your frame rate to 30 or 24. I personally prefer 24fps because it has a more natural and film like look to it.
@@eagleeyeproductions2317 can you share your settings
WOW these are incredible shots dude
Thank You!!!
What editing program do you use& where can you get it?
Great video man. Yea, there sure is a difference between guys like you who take time to convert the raw shot footage into something beautiful compared to the casual shooter. I am trying to emulate some of the things I see on RUclips when it comes to my own videos, and tips like this really come in handy! Thanks for making this. Keep them coming 💪
Thanks!!! 😊😊😊
Thanks for all the great info. I'm very new to drone photography and I'm trying to learn. I downloaded your LUT and will give it a try!
Awesome!
That magic air footage is insane!
Great guide!! Thank you so much
watch this on 1.5x, too intense! Good work absolutely loved it!
Nice job!
Dude, I love your tutorials! Thanks for your hard work. You have helped me tremendously with my dji Spark and making my footage look better.
Nice one Jeven, great tips for both the drone and for FCP. Cheers 😀👍
Thanks!!
Great video! Thanks.. ! I wonder one thing. Is it the same for Mavic mini drone? Do your tips work for that drone too?
Thank you VM! Useful video for me!
Awesome glad it helped

Thanks for this! your th first person to explain this in such a stupid simple way!
Hey dude. Awesome LUT. Thanks a bunch. Works even better with p3a / p3p
Awesome!!
Fantastic video! I orderned my Mavik Air and am impatiently waiting for it lol can’t wait to implement your techniques & suggestions. Keep up the great work on your channel and thanks for the starter LUT!
Hi! Did you get you Mavic Air? Are you happy with it?
Fantastic Video man. 👍🏼
Dude, your video was super help full! Thanks! :D
Great video and LUT Jeven. Subbed!
Thanks, Jeven!
great video mate
That was neat man! Thanks for uploading
Try to make the black borders 1% bigger because I can see a thin line from the video outside of the border ;)
But nice Vid!
It was obviously done for comparison purposes.
Супер! Очень понравилось
Well explained great points raised and fantastic outcome, thanks for sharing my friend 😀
Thank You!
I'm so happy I subscribed to this channel
Very helpful video !
Excellent video thanks for sharing.
Thank you for some really good tips
😊😊😊😊
Great Video! Time to get these filters
Thanks for the great tips. Awesome adventures too by the way!! - Corey
Jerky movements are a real problem for me. The really obvious thing that you are trying to avoid after few flights but really hard to actually avoid this. Especially if you have to film something that moving fast
And thank you for the information about polarized filters
This was really nice! Love it
Great video, and great info, Thanks!
😊😊😊
Thanks a lot Sir, you are a pro!! just the important info and the editing is superb ... great.
As always you nailed it good job dude
Wow fantastic video!
😃😃😃😃😃
Looks nice but I like realism. Turning dead plants red doesn't look appealing, it looks alien.
Just a LUT to show you want you how far you can push it. Somepeople like this look some dont
+Jeven Dovey Oh I know, just expressing my opinion. I'm a nature guy so realism is amazing to me. o
I agree. Way too much orange but to each their own.
Orange/blue fake color sells prints and videos.... real drab looking dirt.. not so much! Welcome to modern video/photography!
Great Final Cut tip and tricks, and beautiful footage from Mexico. It must have been a awesome trip.
Super video 👌 vraiment bien expliqué
Hey man!, great video, thanks for that!, just one question, can I do this in iMovie?
Thanks for the video bud. What softrware do you use to edit your drone videos?
Awesome video, I'm new to the drone hobby. Just bought my first drone, I went with the mavic air fly more combo. I've had it for a few days now and have been experimenting with settings and different flight modes. I want to learn how to capture more cinematic footage and be able to edit the videos as well. Any tips or suggestions I could get would be great and appreciated. Any suggestions on what apps or programs to get to help edit my photos and or videos.
I think I enjoy your vlog intro better than any others lol. Very short, snappy & likeable
Awesome! thanks for the great tips.
Great inspiration, thanks ✊
Kudos man!
Hi Dovey, loved your tips and presentation on Mavic Pro.
I was thinking to buy but after seeing your video worth to buy immediately. :)
Appreciated, nice video footage and tips.
Great shots and love the advice and option to download your LUT! I'm new to drones and video editing. I see that you use Final Cut and use your Orange/Teal LUT in there as well. If I am working on a windows device and using premiere pro, can I use the same LUT available for DL here in premiere??
Brilliant video! If you had to recommend 3 polar pro filters to buy what would they be? Do you use the 16ND filter often, or do you use the 32ND & 64ND? This question is for anyone who is currently using filters. Thank you!
I use the 32 and 64 all the time for bright sunlight!
Do you normally shoot your footage in 4K 30fps? Then down scale to 1080p 24fps? I'm new to this thing, trying to learn 😁
Thank you for the video and tutorial- can you use IMovie for post and how do you import your LUT to that? I don’t own any other software so if you can recommend something else for the Mac that isn’t too expensive or difficult to learn. Thanks
very nice! Thank you!
Hey great tips and I loved the hiking video! I am just back from Mexico as well! The only thing I'd change is that a polariser filter is to reduce glare and haze in a photo/footage not to make it look crispier. If you want to capture reflection then ditch your polariser. Good video anyways
Yeah but when you reduce the glare and haze it automatically makes your footage crisper :)
@@JevenDovey yes bur what polariser did you use/recommend?
quick tip though dont add widescreen letter boxing but rather edit it 2.35:1, for example set you comp size to 1920x816 for hd
Hey, thank you for great video and sharing your knowledge. I have one question - when to use ND filters without polarized?
If you have nothing that is reflective in your shot
Hi jeven, I appreciate your grt8 efforts to made this wonderful tutorial. It's very easy tounderstand.....thanks .
Thank you this was great
It's a very nice video.
Your Mavic Air LUT is amazing! With wich program do you create this LUT?
Thanks for the video! What software are you using for the editing?
I use FCPX
Subbed. Just bought an air. Learning some good stuff
Awesome happy flying!
Hey mate your tutorials are amazing. Can you please let me know which software do you use for processing your videos ?
Cheers!
FCPX
@@JevenDovey can you please share the download link ?
Great helpful video thx. What editing software are you using in post?
He's using Final Cut Pro x 300 dollar Mac only software
Glasses that add this kind of color correction to real life would be interesting as hell.
Right haha
This is an awesome LUT. thank you, do you have anymore Out packs (free or Pay). I'm using Adobe Preimer PRO cc
You are awesome dude, I would be really excited if you could make a tutorial video of flying the mavic air at the night time and a camera setting to shoot a smooth and noise free video at the night time.
Thanks buddy
The Mavic Air will be noisy at night. You need a drone with abetter sensor to do night flying. Probably P4Pro or better.
Have you noticed the totally desaturated parts in most foogate? I'm desperately trying to figure out a solution to this. It seems to be an issue with the Mavic Air only.
Very nice! But I using Premiere. Do you have some tutorial how to apply this color grade on Adobe Premiere? Thanks
Just do a quick google search and you’ll find a tutorial
Jeven Dovey Ok friend thank you. Your color grading is amazing. Thanks!
Your video is great!
Thanks!!!
gday jeven is there any chance you can do a side by side test with the filters in auto and man mode to see the diff? cheers from australia
I wouldnt use filters if I'm flying auto. The only way filters really work is when you take control of the settings
great
good content
Hey Javen, love your videos. Have you used the Videoleap App on an iPad to edit video? Sold my MacBook Pro and I got the New iPad.
the aspect ratio you actually mean is the 2.35:1
Thanks Jeven. I also have the Polar Pro ND/PL filters (be it for the Spark) but struggle with the polarization setting. How do you do that to get the right effect? Greetings, Pete from The Netherlands
Subed. Thanks for your hard work. I'll be watching more.
