I just got the Black Paisley version of this yesterday. It is just a stunning guitar and sounds absolutely amazing. Really good explanation of the mud switch, thanks for that.
Here’s a trick I once did with the tone switch: I replaced it with a no-load tone *pot*. All the wiring is there. Even the hole fits without any tweaking. You still have the no-load position. And endless variation.
I just got one of these recently. It has the nicest electronics of any I own. Just beautiful cleans, and it plays dirty really nicely. Im used to LPs, so this was perfect.
Hello, good channel, I would like to know something about the plugs, are they the Gruver Imperials? Are they blocked or do you recommend some better ones to put them in a Gretsch electromatic? Thank you in advance...unbelievable work

Everything about this guitar is amazing, except for the tuning issues. Did you manage to fix those? See, I’m waiting for my White Falcon to arrive (G6636T), but if I take it out of the box and I pull the slack out of the strings, it should stay in tune, even when using the Bigsby for small bit of that wobbly effect. The sound is absolutely amazing and the looks are stunning of course. 🧡
@@BuddaGuedes : That’s good to hear. As you already read, I got my 6636 today. I once had a 5622 and it kept going out of tune. So to be honest, I was really scared when I took my gorgeous looking White Falcon out of its case. I tuned it up and I immediately noticed the smoothness of the tuners. I tuned it up unbelievably fast and accurate. A drop of sweat ran over my forehead when I grabbed the Bigsby arm. I bent it. And again. And again. I kept it easy, like it was intended to be used. Easy. Then just a little more. And…. IT KEPT STAYING IN TUNE PERFECTLY!!!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am. What an amazing guitar!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I really enjoyed the video as usual - but although I really yearn to get a hollow or semi-hollow I don’t think it will be a Gretsch and it definitely won’t have a Bigsby! Maybe a 330 or a Casino or a 335 … 🤔
@@BuddaGuedes I think I know what you mean - perhaps it’s like the lo-fI amps, “better” isn’t always better? Some hollow Gretschs make good jazz boxes too. If I could have two semi-acoustics, maybe the second one would be a Gretsch …

You’re welcome

I actually like the presets. But that’s a great idea

These tuners are perfect to me
Reverend make a “soft spring” for bigsbys I have them on my two pro lines…it’s a game changer
What difference does it make?
@@BuddaGuedes it’s just a lower tension spring…allows the bigsby have a much smoother action…they are only ten bucks…you won’t regret it
Great!! I’ll check it out
aka the mud switch Bud, i had to change the caps in my 6120.
I did it already and it’s super great now
@@BuddaGuedes your penguin is super sweet dude enjoy ;)
I love it
hey @chickenlickin3820 and @BuddaGuedes what changes did you end up making specifically?
Interesting fact : The last two numbers of the Gretsch Penguin Professional, here 58, also refers to the number of guitars this man probably has ...
Only 58?
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Try reversing it in my case. I just got two penguins!
That is one beautiful guitar,my friend!!!
Thanks my friend
Amazing guitar and video. This might be hard to do, but try a Tagima guitar someday, specially the more expensive ones.
I never heard about it!!! Where’s it made?

Mine has no tuning issues. The slots on the nut were not well cut so I made it better

If you’re looking for a jazz guitar the casino or even the bigger body Gretsch make for a more appealing guitar to me
@@BuddaGuedes Yes indeed :)
Beautiful guitar. However, i think the headstock is too big for it’s body.
I love it as is
