Zangief is the guy who works for a successful company, gives his all and works overtime for free, and then learns from the media that his company was actually a ponzi scheme all along.
I'm a big fan of Zangief, and i was so damn glad that he became a good guy at the very end. Great movie and ending how he and a dozen others pose themselves in the last second
Zangief was such a good comic relief in this movie. He literally had some of the best lines throughout the movie: "Quick, change the channel!", "that was beautiful" , "you got paid?" and "bison is a bad guy?" I love those lines from him
1:21 "but i think the food court should be bigger. All the major food franchises will want in" Meanwhile, Burgerking still hanging out in Russia and suffering little to no competition. Bison may have been a villain, but he understood corporate greed very well! 😂
This movie was panned when it came out, but I loved it. Same with Double Dragon. Watching them now you see the camp and cheese seethe through, and can enjoy it for the ridiculous movies they are.
I'd rather have Brandon Lee portray Jimmy Lee, Johnny Cage, and Ken Masters than to see him play The Crow, he'd still be alive to star in those three roles that he was born to play.
Funny part to all this. Is that Zangief truly believes the allied nations fighting to bring Tyranny, and Bisons and his troops are there to stop them lol.
@@toomanyaccounts For us, doing business with a brutal dictator would be the most heinous action of our lives. But for McDonald's, it would be Tuesday.

Yeah, I still don't understand the decision to make Balrog and Dee Jay be on the wrong sides, but that's not even in the Top 10 of weird changes to the lore
Something tells me they confused the two black dudes with martial arts gear when writing this script Knowing how much of an intense production this movie went through, it might be feasible, if only they got more time to make it, but at the same time, more time being produced means Raul Julia would have died in the middle of it and they would have had to find someone else to play Bison and it wouldnt have been nearly as memorable..

>The film's production budget was ¥4 billion[6] ($35 million),[5] with Capcom alone financing most of the budget.[6] Because Capcom was co-financier of the film, every aspect of the production required their approval.
The biggest crime is that there wasn't more scenes with Bison and Zangief. Whenever those two are in a room; it seems to feed the zany maniacal energy of Bison that much more. This edit compilation is a masterpiece 😂
Makes me wonder in the alternate universe where the movie got a sequel what would zangief be like and if they would add rainbow Mika since the alpha games were out around the time
Zangief also had much more character development as an antihero in this movie than in the games. All he did in the games was have a one-track mind on both himself and his nation.
At least they made this movie, if they had a bigger budget we could have had Jackie chan as Ryu, Van Dam as Ken, Arnold as Guile, Dolf lundren as M- bison and a wrestler called Rees from wcw to be Zangief and other iconic characters that actually represent real fighters. That was beautiful and you got paid are the only two memorable for me.
Zangief was perfect casting
BrianMcDonald. Actor Andrew Bryniarski played, Zangief in the 1994 " Street Fighter" film with Jean- Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia.
The casting for Zangief & Vega was literally *Perrrfect* 💪🏼
All he has for Vega is the agility.

Jay Tavare is a handsome guy.
But Vega is supposed to look more like a young and long-haired Gabriel Garko.

I swear I rewound that part many a time as a kid and he and Deejay's reaction had me crying laughing.
