It really makes me sad that this show didn't get to go on tour. I think it would have done REALLY well. The music is simply wonderful. I still laugh thinking about the car chase scene. I hope I get to see it again someday. I'm glad we don't have analog cassette players anymore because these songs would have been played until it the tape wore out.
This is my favourite musical and I've never seen it live. The soundtrack is so incredible, Tim Minchin is a genius and Andy Karl is perfection as Phil.
Love the music in this show: a bit of classical, a bit of jazz, a bit of old-school tap, a bit of contemporary music, a bit of fiddle and you can hear the various solos of different instruments
Devastated the tour was cancelled. Needs to be revived. STUNNING score, Minchin is a god among men (an atheist god, which is fun), and put so much thought into every note. Andy Karl and Barrett Doss are both fantastic. And I’ll come right out and say it: the musical was a better piece of art/storytelling than the movie. LOVE this show.
Frankly, I believe that all of us would find that not just living forever, but having to live forever, to ultimately be far more terrifying than death: At least we all do get to die. - j q t - 2019

"Seeing you" is magic.
I cannot believe this hasn't gotten more attention?!
This show had a purpose and a soul. The best reward is for those who appreciate it to keep it alive by sharing its message with everyone. 🙏🏼💗
Tim is a genius!
