Hey Joe, just wondering if you give your 2stroke bikes a good shake when you get on them to make sure the fuel in the tank is still mixed thoroughly? It was a common thing to see before startup standing up on the pegs, grabbing the bars and giving it a good shake for a few seconds to slosh the fuel in the tank back & forth. Never hit the rear break in the middle of a steep hill. That back axle becomes a pivot point and you flip over backwards the cross bar on the handle bars will crush your helmet. Ask me how i know.
Those little wheels on the back is the problem. Put the originals back on.
@@jasonvoorhees2701 he’s complaining that it’s geared down and slow, the small tires is the reason why
Let's go! That thing is nice, I love it!
Looks killer!
I had one as a kid and smashed it to bits after running over my own leg twice in a row ..it's a bucking bull on ruff ground but sideways it will kick your feet of the pegs
Great find guys! I think you should keep it just muck around on
Yes love it, want it😁🇳🇴
Awsome trade👌
You dont see many 82s, sweet looking bike, way to go Joe, happy day for you i bet, i would just clean it up and not do much else, try sos pads on that rust on the chrome,
Dang! Where do you keep finding these gems🙃. We don’t have anything like that in our area:). Oklahoma
Real nice a rare find! There's none in Finland for sale ever. Haven't seen one in 10 years :D
Bigger front sprocket is the easiest and cheapest way to add speed. I usually have a couple different ones on hand
Happy independence Day Your ATC Looks Badass 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice find as a re-sellable for the collector but id give it some love as the rot has set in, i rode one of these in morocco in the early nineties on the beach and awkward is an understatement. top end sound s shot on it. you obviously like it so why not do a resto as its all there?
I had a 1982 250R and with stock sprockets and tires I could get it up to 70 mph. After blowing the engine 4 times, I put an engine out of a Honda Nighthawk motorcycle in it and I had it clocked just over 100 mph.
How do you guys keep finding these wonderful toys?!!
Had a 1986 back in the day and let me tell you, ran good but after changing out Carb from a Tecate of same year it was night and day::). Wouldn’t do anything to it but if you must Carb would wake it up
I put a YZ 250 carb on mine .. it made a significant difference..
I owned one many years ago always thought it needed couple more gears. Fun fast bike though.
Nice & really clean, awesome video
Nice ride man!!!
