    BTW, Rokkit Sheep! Does over 500 dps heated, 432 dps cold in sharpshooter mode with rage. Does 862 m/s cold, 1143 heated in propulsion mode. 30km range with Javelin. Ship has a bonus to module overheating and a reload bonus so you can switch ammo like laser crystals (less than 5 secs). Costs 303 mill.

    Try the fury light missile for more damage but you will need to get 35ish% closer to those big targets. Quick reload from caldari lights when you get within range.

    just a tips, MTU is the singel easiest deployable to scan down in 2 or 3 cycles, never use MTU unless ur finished.

    • @captainbenzie
      @captainbenzie  11 месяцев назад

      Or, just D-Scan judiciously. Sure, they can scan the MTU in 2-3 cycles, but I'll see their ship and/or combat probes by that point

    I love the Jackdaw, but seems a bit overpriced for what he does. I do consider it my favorite pick for SoE epic arcs and grinding up to L3 combat missions. Think it's a great choice for those.

    • @captainbenzie
      @captainbenzie  Год назад +3

      Totally agree, mostly what I used it for too - but it can duo T5 Dark Abyssals too which is kinda cool! Was just sad that it's not as useful in J-Space 😅

    • @8ball2k7
      @8ball2k7 Год назад +1

      @@captainbenzie It can also run T6 Darks with correct overheating and positioning (and fit obviously, using a cap booster is the main key)
      I've been running T5s for last few months and moved to T6s recently with my duo, and it was a simple step up, the only problems we run into isnt tank, it's the time limit and if you hit the rooms with the drone battleship or sleeper battleships more than once in the 3 rooms, then it's very close to getting out in 20 minutes, if you have them all 3 rooms then it's a wipe 100%, but i've found the times i've died (300m jackdaw) in T6's doesnt eat into the profits and bring it below when we did T5's on average, it's still about 35% higher profits overall.

  • @rustynail6363

    I keep seeing this nonsense from ccp, they did it with T3 cruisers, make them op then have to "rebalance" them, because they have upset the market, eg BC's & BS's became almost useless, so people decided not to build them, price goes through the roof.
    A half way decent cruiser or BC, with less skills could do that job better, but everyone these days wants, wiz wiz wiz!
    Seems to me, you have just proven the point, with 64km range with a ship that looks like a dog fighter, but can't do it, least not on these sites.
    07 fly safe.

    • @captainbenzie
      @captainbenzie  Год назад +1

      Not sure how that applies here as the T3Ds aren't OP at all, nor are they useless at all. The Svipul and Confessor are both excellent C1/2/13 ratters on J-Space, good for PvP too, and not too expensive. The Jackdaw is excellent for K-Space ratting (runs L3 missions) and PvP, just not J-Space. To me, that feels well balanced.

    Only just started playing and already thinking about leaving as the players who know the game just wipe you out left right & centre.
    They don't even give you a chance to learn the game just another whales game it seems to me.
    All set up to waste new player's money, so if you play do it free as it's not worth spending a cent on until they do something about the grifters

    • @thebuddy4517
      @thebuddy4517 Год назад +4

      nope, infact the opposite, its all about game knowledge in eve online, may be hard to learn but its not pay to win (see examples of how people spend thousands for a titan on their first day just to die and complain)

    • @brianchristopher8843
      @brianchristopher8843 Год назад +1

      Yeah that has not at all been my experience at all. You just need to find a corp you like and start learning everything you can.
      Sounds like you are taking fights you shouldn't be taking or not paying attention to dscan or local or your overview.
      I came from eve echoes where your opinion would be correct. Eve online is nothing like that.

    • @captainbenzie
      @captainbenzie  Год назад +5

      Good luck in learning EVE. It's tough, but keep at it, find a good corp, and you WILL get there!

    • @pnksmigge5324
      @pnksmigge5324 Год назад +2

      Look for a learning FW corp, they will give you T1 ships for free and you can learn some pvp in lowsec. Eve is 98% knowledge. It's not about reflexes, reaction times, it's all planning and knowledge and as a new player you have none. So never fly anything you can't EASILY afford to lose and not care. Fly dangerous o7
