Great episode Chris! Was such a pleasure to meet you and share an adventure with you! We loved every minute of it! Hopefully our paths will cross again sometime! Onward!
@@dansmith9421 We will be doing some work on it this week and releasing 5 in the same size Chris has here, and 5 in a bigger version. Follow NBX on Fbook or IG to see the first 10 released.
Love the griddle bag, great colours for your rig and a great place to store it. Love the “product placement Timms coffee” glad you enjoyed our great country
North Bound Expeditions I realized that, but it looked great, especially as you don’t see much of it in video,s and Chris being from the USA. Love the griddle bag and will be in touch.
Excellent Chris, enjoy your time with Cole and build those very important memories. Because of this episode, I have purchased some equipment from North Bound Expeditions. Thanks for sharing!
Chris experiences a tentative encounter with the perimeter guard @ 25:10; good thing she's well heeled, too. My gosh, what a beautiful Dobe! I don't think there's anywhere on earth as magical & magnificent as Maine and neighboring New Brunswick...
Awesome video with some nice Canadian guys ! You're just like a typical Canadian Chris, you're kind, cautious about stuff and adventurous. A really good tip I got years ago when I used to go four wheeling was to spray dielectric grease into all of the plugs and connections throughout the truck. from front to back, lights and all. Disconnect the battery first and then unplug each one, spray it, plug it back in and move on to the next. Yes it's time consuming but if you're doing water crossings it's a good idea. Some of the sensor plugs under the hood might not even be water resistant connectors. I lived in Saint John New Brunswick for a couple of years when I was a kid.
This series has been like a Mountain State Overland revisit. Same guests but I enjoy the new take on the area from a solo traveler perspective. I've learned quite a bit about areas just from watching your travels. Plus not having to hear that loud country music on repeat is super welcomed. Thanks for taking us along.
Another great video as always Chris, That spot was absolutely amazing and the hospitality from the North Bound Expeditions crew was awesome. Keep up the great work and enjoy your time with your son!
Chris, your channel does indeed keep getting better and better. I look forward to a new episode each week. My grandson and I just finished watching this one and now he wants to go camping in a Rubicon, "Oh Yeah!"
Loved the video. I really like North Bound Expeditions patience with setting up the camera for drive by shots. That has to be very time consuming. Very nice, some of the prettiest scenery on any of your videos and I live in Utah and you covered a bunch of beautiful stuff there.
Amazing episode, Chris! That two hour trail drive was well worth the effort. I also store clothes on the floor of my Jeep, Chris. I store them in large 55gl contractor bags and after countless water crossings nothing has gotten wet or even moist after rolling the ends and securing them with a small strip of duck tape.
Chris this was a completely different land (sea) scape from your typical adventure, really a great trail. Love the mojito green, unfortunately Jeep no longer offers that color... Stay safe.
very good, now your tours are getting more aggressive, more exciting.paraben continue like this ......muito bom, agora sim seus passeios estao ficando mais agressivo, mais emocionantes.parabens continue assim......
We enjoyed the video of Cole and you from last year. It looks like you are going to have better weather this year. The patio Therma-Cell is a usb charged instead of butane powered I believe. Enjoy and can't wait for the video.
Yes..when you laid out your plans to head way n.e., I had suggested you find those guys..2 thumbs up...should be a blast, maybe they will take you to that remote ocean overlook camp spot on their video....
Hi Venture - We met last year briefly in Watson Lake YT, I have the Crush Orange 13 JKUR with the massive toolbox on the roof rack. My sway bar disconnect has also failed repeatedly - I actually drilled out the rivets to get inside the electrical side to figure out what goes on. Water bypasses the sway bar seals to enter the electrical side, flooding, filling it, and of course rotting it out. What I did with mine was blew all the water and corrosion out and drowned it in WD40; then silicone and bolted it back up. If I were to do similar to a 'known good' unit Id likely use some sort of spray on corrosion inhibitor, then replace the rivets with bolts and nuts to be able repeat the process annually. That said, I *never* use the sway bar actuator; I found it to be a massive liability (the roll is horrific) on road and no real noticeable difference to my rig off road. You ever make it back up here, would be good to do some wheeling!
The mosquitoes were biting the fire out of me at Caprock Canyon State Park in North Texas, and that was in late October. Probably should keep looking for the mobile thermacell. I've gotta add, that is just an awesome beautiful campsite.
Really a very nice you tube channel. I really like that you give me the chance to experience this in the Netherlands. Thank you, many beautiful and safe kilometers. Greeting Rene JEEPIE.NL
Chris, You need your air dam back. It'll protect your swaybar disconnect from getting water splashed directly on it. Might even keep all the water off it!
Dealer replaced my actuator under warranty after only 12k miles. Will probably install a Currie Anti Rock after warranty expires. Impressed with your engenuity.

Chris, little bit of silicone sealant or better yet 3M 4000 or 4200 (not 5200) would help keep the water out of your actuator.

I like how Chris is living out of the JKU with what seems like half of what his mates take for a overnight trip.
Shane Booth lol true true...he’s a master minimalist. The trailer however is pretty much empty as it’s mostly a tent and firewood carrier.
Just wait the black flys are next 😉
Ohhh.. the days when I had to get out of my truck to air up and down :P CTIS ftw.
i wud reccomend usen electrical grease for ur plug an use the black silacone to seal up the actuator u can get both at orillys
maybe put a new seal or rtv to seal the actuator with the housing.
Was thinking the same thing. Didn't notice any kind of gasket when he took it off.
Agreed. I'd attempt to seal it all up, and even the connector too.
Indeed I thought the same
What will be the next choice of tire? You're getting close!
Great mounting spot for that new bag... BUT will it melt when you use your stove?

Its from Blue Ridge Overland gear
I wish their shipping was cheaper internationally. Looked at that tool bag a few months ago, but shipping was 50% of the cost of the bag.
