- Howdy! Here's an edit from a chill Sunday outing to a cool local airstrip, plus Woodstock updates, and some much-needed wheel landing practice. I will try to get some more videos up soon! My audio recorder and cameras keep acting up and I've been scrapping a lot. Thanks for the patience!

If only GoPro's and iPhones were available back when I was doing hard IFR approaches...the memories I'd have! John from MI
They are a technological marvel!
Young lady steady your course . Not only do you fly but your on your way to becoming an A&P too....busy busy 👍
You still have me sold on these experimental kit planes .
9:30 Funny to say Clear! litereally in the middle of nowhere and you know there's nobody around to hear it.
Great video. Desert area is something different! Oh and don't be shy, don't feel embarrased, and don't feel the need to explain to the world why you don't like to be in the video so much. Just do what you like and you're good at it too!
If you're loving what you're doing, more power to you! Those looked like some pretty solid wheel landings to me; you probably saw (and felt) a lot more than I did, but solid touchdowns, no bounces, a very precise (and as crisp as I've seen) tail-up at touchdown... and Woodstock gets up and off in a hurry even at altitude!
Have ALL THE FUN!
Your a Great pilot and you do a Great job on all your videos 👍
I really enjoy them. 🙂
Thank you very much!
Awesome seeing you n Woodstock flying again. Really do like that plane. Great lines and you switting to the tail drag I think was perfect for the look. Congrads with the new job! 👍🏻👍🏻
Like other folks have said, nice to see your videos again. Your career path sounds great. I hope to get my GlaStar back in the air next spring after a long down period and some upgrades I added. Power Flow and Amsafe. Keep the videos coming.
Upgrades are the best. I hope you're back in the air soon!
Good video! We understand busy. Just do this when you can. All good.
Great to see you back Amy. Always enjoy you taking the time to share your travels and aviation experiences with us. That takes a lot of work I’m sure. Sounds like your days are extremely full and you love what you do. That’s the most important thing. I can remember of myself those two plus years of working a full time job during the day and attending A&P school in the evening five days a week. LONG DAYS!!!!!! Well worth the experience in the end. Anyway, thanks for sharing with us all and take care!
You still do wonderful edits. Keep at it when you have time.
Life does have a habit of getting in the way doesn't it? LOL. Post when you can post, and we'll enjoy it when you do!
I'm glad that you are back, Amy. I've missed your videos. I hope that you are doing well in your now not so new home.
Congrats on the new job. Few things in life as awesome as loving your work.
That's so true. Thank you!
Really good to see you posting again. Great news about your A&P............🙂
Thanks for watching my posts! I'll be excited to get finished with A&P school.
A big HELLO from CYQT. GREAT to see another video. THANK YOU for sharing this adventure nice to see casual GA flying, two thumbs up ... not enough GA content out there. I look forward to seeing your next video. Absolutely LOVE Woodstock, such a SaWeeeet ride. Stay safe fly safe. Good luck on your studies.
Thank you for the kind words. Happy Holidays!
hello CYQT from CYHD :)
Another great vid! Have fun
It appears that your wheel landings got better each time! You reminded me - I need to get out and practice wheel landings.
Indeed! I knew I would be a bit rusty on them.
Thanks so much for the video; it really made my day. Not only do we get to see great flying and terrific scenery, the host of this channel actually made an appearance. Not to say you're camera shy, but this is the first video where I realized you're a redhead. Happy to hear you're professionally busy; your students are lucky to have a great instructor.
Couple of things I like: I like the door bumpers, you flight instructing and getting your A&P 😊
What I don't like is ATC telling me to go around.
Happy holidays and be safe!
Happy Holidays!
Thanks for flying. I in joy watching planes fly.
Good to see you back Amy, we've missed you and Woodstock 😁
Always good to see a video from you! Merry Christmas!

I feel ya. I don’t like being on camera either. But I do enjoy your videos.
Good to see you…
Just watched Moose's April 02 CO18 video, and there you are! You arrived after we left! How is this possible?!?!? Maybe May 07, presuming that I'm out of annual inspection by then.
Fantastic to see you post! Hope all is well with you and yours!
Hello from Minnesota!! Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas!
I don't care what anybody says you make a good video, Amy! Also tighten up your tailwheel springs they're loose. It's easy to do.
Hey, I recognize that strip! Complete with crazy windsock. Feb 5, looking forward to seeing you finally. Congrats on the new job!!!!!!!! My wife loves the solitude of CO18. I see you did also. It's a wonderful place.
Congrats on the job you love! That's always a blessing. :) Thanks for the vid.
Hi Amy, new subscriber to your channel. Enjoyed this video very much, love the eastern CO landscape and your flights into rural strips. Also the long AERONCA Champ flight. Retired corp pilot here, hoping to fly my Cessna Cardinal to your neck of the woods from Missouri. Congrats on your recent airline position! Take care!
Glad you found my channel! Safe flights and blue skies. 😊
Good to see /hear your doing good. respect that life has you busy. It is good see your progression from your little C150 to where you are now.

Long time no see Amy. Have a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing. Nice greaser landings. beautiful country.
Cheers from Louisiana.
Ya know...you tick all the boxes. You're cute, you fly, you have a bad ass plane, you're an instructor & almost A&P.
It's neat you post these videos...I love flying & watching airplane vids (need to put the damn wings on my N3 Pup).
Aside from just not liking to be on video (I'm not on any of my videos....I think I 'get' that from my mom, heck, I have an entire cruise ship vacation of her putting her hand up just before the picture...kinda funny)--aside from not liking to be on video, no worries. Make videos whenever you want to. You're not obliged to anyone. Do what's best for you.
Great to see your back and doing well 👍 🦘
Was wondering where you've been these days. Glad you're staying busy and flying! It looks like you found a home down at KCFO.
Fly safe and fly often!
Glad to see another video Merry Christmas from KALW I got an hour flight in a cub couple yrs back I loved it I want some more tail wheel time
Merry Christmas! Put some TW flying on your Christmas list.
Thanks for sharing Amy. Always enjoy your videos. Sold my Cardinal a few months ago in order to move to experimental. Glastar is at the top of my list! Merry Christmas!
AHH!!! That is so exciting!! Be sure to join the Glasair Owners Association (GAOA) if you are the tiniest bit interested in the GlaStar! Loads of info there.
Beautiful aircraft
Great stuff, keep it up.
You audio documents and gives purpose to what you are doing. Please provide more of it in coming videos.
Great to see you back Amy. Did you move again? Is the new job in Colorado? Good luck and Merry Christmas!
Been in Colorado since April! All is well here. Merry Christmas to you too!
Called out!! Heh!
Well it worked! ;)
WAIT -- private airstrip above Chaparral called "HAPPY BUTT?" I need to see that place.
Oh yes!! I usually have to overfly Happy Butt on the way to Chaparral just because of the name! LOL
Glad to see you are still flying :) how do you like the AV30? thinking about putting one (or two) in my RV6
The company is working through some bugs. I have to send them back in soon for a hardware update. They're a novel idea, but I wish I had gone with G5's. They're neat, but not all that reliable--which is the biggest thing you want out of an instrument.
@@amywhite375 Thank You for that report. I’m really wanting the AV-30 / tailbeaconx setup because it would replace my old transponder too.
I’m wondering how the upgraded units work. I see you have two. Did you eliminate your vacuum system? Maybe you’ll talk about them in an upcoming video?
@@DavZZee They would eliminate a normal vacuum system. The reason I got these though, is because I bought the plane without a vacuum system or vacuum instruments!!
REV UP YOUR ENGINE!
If condensation is in: as water, then oil @ 100 °c will create steam (open the filler cap) let it out Amy. Constant lubricant on the cylinders to reduce corrosive pitting.
🧙🔮🎪
Nice video.
Nice to see people under 50 years old flying. :-)
BTW. Kind of looks like your TW springs are rigged a bit loose. Durring the shot where you are rolling out at the grass strip. Perhaps it's just a different setup than my Pacer.
Thanks! Yeah, I think they are a smidge loose too.
Hey Amy.....Have you seen the new RC model of your plane?...Nice model....made by Xfly.
I didn't see anything on the runway to prompt the go around, did the camera just not pick something up, or did the tower have some other reason for the go around?
At any rate, it's a good thing to practice, so at least it happened while you were out practicing anyway.
I'm still unsure of why he called it. Maybe he thought the spacing wouldn't work out with the aircraft behind me. I'm happy to do whatever I can to make those guys' lives easier!
@@amywhite375 hope it wasn't for the plane behind you, as it seems a bit less safe to send the plane that's already established a stabilized approach and is near the ground around versus the next plane in sequence.
It's been awhile
@Amy_Pilot....I heard you mention NC. I'm in Charlotte and very interested in learning to fly. Can you recommend a reputable school?
Can you make another camping video like the Sekiu one ? :)
I want to! Soon perhaps.
Hhm... Front Range. Been to Rangely yet?
Nope, not yet.
Hey Amy, we've missed you baby. Good to see you're still up there. Why a tail-dragger and not a tricycle?😍😍😍❤️🔥❤️🔥
Glad to see you back. Enjoyed your postings. Welcome back.
