Great work on the wing window - I think the look will be much better than one piece glass! Another great video and time well spent on RUclips! Thanks Brent!
Great work! Glad you didn’t go with one piece glass.... wing windows keep it classy ;-) About to go in to shut down here in Nz for four weeks.... got a full bottle on my mig and enough supplies to finish wiring my coupe. Stay safe over there.
I have done wing windows a few times after aq chop and the best part is never doing again as they are a sob to fit inside of where these were once. the metal seems to be from another country as it won't go without measure and fight. I was working on the older model cornqueens... still a little to go and sure that its a job instead of fun. Its fun to start but after a few months.... I loved the challenge that first seems so cheap to do, then after a year and the receipts pile up, it is surprising what it comes to.. another good one

Hey Brent, today's Halfass feature was "the lunch time special". Once again you faced the problems head on.Seems to me the door handle dalema is now an open and shut case. Those vent windows are a marvelous invention especially the hand crank ones. I know we've all heard the... "form follows function, " line from designers but I strongly feel they were invented to be the Koolest spot to put a Car Club or Speed Shop decal. Am I not right ...I am right.. aren"t I ? The hot rods even looks super kool from the inside peakin' out thru the door window opening. Fine craftsmanship Brent.
Cool video! You never fail to amaze me! Have you ever thought of working in a chip foose setting! A famous hot rod shop of sorts! Obviously you have your own shop and don't have to, but with skills like yours you deffinately could ! The only difference with you do and the Yahoo's in chips shop besides the fact that you obviously have skills, is that once finished, they send things to the paint booth and the chrome plater !

Vent windows are sweet because they let the fresh air in and suck the cabin air out at the same time when the car is moving forward.... how cool is that!?

it's a hard one. sometimes I just make a button with some round rod for the pivot because the angle changes to much.

I just had a large gap to fill so I used the welding rod to help with the excess gap and weld across.
