    You are making this look easier than I ever dreamed. Almost have me convinced I could replicate your method on my 38 4 door. Your research on 'how to' seems to be just right, Liked the new "Thursday view" hahahahah. Great job.

    Your video, content, audio, and commentary are improving with every episode. Keep up the progress, the sedan is coming together nicely (just a heads up, this one has a few minutes of upside down video beginning @ 24:19 , 29:16 )

    I helped a friend chop the top on his 37 Willys 4dr sedan and convered it to a suicide 2dr. We got the correct measurement for the chop marked on tape and cut on the lines and had no problems.

      It’s a fun hobby for sure - just takes some patience

    First time I watched you. Looks real good. Liked the way you eased into those door cuts, looks like you have minimal filling as a result. Can learn from that. Keep it up 👍

    • @MarekMakes
      @MarekMakes  10 месяцев назад

      Yeah … I’d rather sneak up on it and feather the cut than leave a big gap to fill and grind!!

    All that with a grinder, sawsall, welder and some clamps. Good stuff, mate.

    Loved the Chipmunks bit :) :) I didn't think you were struggling at all but being sensible by taking baby steps, it easier to remove than replace metal, and thanks to you myself and other people have a better understanding of how to approach doing a good roof chop because of the way you are doing it, but also because of the way you are filming it, as for boring us, if you were we can always zap through it, so no need to time lapse at all, not for me anyway Marek.

    I have a 38 Master we are planning on building, and although I would never consider a chop, your build is still inspirational! (and I LOL'd at the upside-down video when you were wearing your FUBAR shirt hahaha

    For an amateur it's looking pretty good. Would have been more accurate if you were to have actually measured between the underside of the drip rail and the portion of the door that was cut to get a more accurate point for cutting the rest of the door top..
