If it's easy something is wrong...every setback teaches us something new, don't beat yourself up its part of the process, rather something goes wrong now that when you on the road... It's starting to take shape, so the end is close, good on you man for not giving up
Not trying to be picky but you need to either put another tube where your seat bolts go through the floor or add a larger iece of plate to spread the load on those bolts so they don't start ripping out of the floor
When I first started watching I couldn't believe you were going to fix that car. You have came a long way and done a great job hope you make the car show. I have a 37 like yours it's 99.99 rust free I put a 350 engine 350 Trans. I've had it about 25 years just got it finished last month. It steal has the original paint with prime showing. Keep up the good work
If all the parts you buy fit perfect on your custom build, your an assembler. when you have to modify everything you buy for your project, your a fabricator! Nice job brother.
You're doing great we all have tuff times working on our own cars I've bin doing it for 30 years + from working on London taxi to hotrod custom motor cycles and i still have tuff days so pat yourself on the back for what you have got done . Two day's ago i painted a tank for a bike two minutes later i hit it with the air line so today I've had to start all over again shit happens
Off the top of my head. I believe it’s possible the rear passenger side is a quarter inch higher due to the weight of the gas tank on the drivers side.
Really haven’t purchased many parts, have fabricated all of the sheet metal myself. The airbag suspension was already on the chassis when I bought the donor S-10. I contacted Airbagit.com for the replacement shocks if that’s what you would like I can look it up
The truck already came with airbags on it so I’m not certain which ones they are but here are the things I have purchased. Sorry for the delay. Hey brother love the build so far. For future reference airbaggit is absolute rubbish. They may be cheap but so is the quality. They are notorious for sending the wrong parts or not sending all of the parts. I have an s10 with airbags but I would never buy another thing from them again.
I have never used them before and never had anything with airbags but your experience is what I’m living …. It’s just what was installed on the truck when I started the chassis swap
