Why do people keep sleeping on Tornado? I'm not sure how many Kirby games it's actually made an appearance in, but it was easily the strongest power in Return to Dreamland. It doesn't have the most versatile moveset, but it's standard attack allows you to dart around the screen doing ridiculous amounts of damage, all while being completely invincible throughout the *entire attack*. It's certainly worth an honorable mention at the very least.
I love this list. My favorite ability is Hammer anyways because of how incredibly powerful it is. I also really liked it when in some Kirby games they upgraded Spark to be able to have charge blasts similar to the Plasma ability. It gave it more utility making Spark do that.
Oh my god yes Solikhawk, poison is an absolute amazing power up that deserves more attention. You know your power ups. Edit: also yo yo is without a doubt the best power up, no question, sustained, overruled.

I have to agree. These are all of my favorite abilities too, though I would arrange them slightly differently. You also for sure changed the way I use to view the Yo-yo ability, it really is useful.
Yes! Poison is probably my favorite ability in Planet Robobot. I used it as often as I could, especially for boss fights. Though I did opt out for UFO against the final boss (plus the Kirby amiibo gives you a Max Tomato in addition to UFO).
I've pretty much fallen in LOVE with Poison. I loved it when I first tried it way back when, and I still adore it now. Such a beautiful moveset, I love that the downward poison throw gives you a little horizontal airtime, too (which can be repeated multiple times per jump).
Poison really is underrated you can lay down poison Traps The cloud does massive damage And when combined with the gusher kills And it’s even had its own version of final cutter
I feel sad seeing Beam didn't even make it as an honorable mention but hey, I got a soft spot for Yo-yo as well since it was the very first copy ability I was able to beat the True Arena in Kirby: Superstar Ultra! :D

Yoooo! More respect for Yo-yo, besides this video and well, myself. I haven't heard any praise for Yo-yo but it is my absolute favorite ability, its the most fun to use. And with the electricity in star allies, it's a power house that you can use for invincibility frames. It's what I used to beat the highest arena level in star allies

I honestly liked needle. It's immune to most attacks and is perfect for stationary bosses like the copy-pasted Wispy Woods. And in the nes game and it's remakes, it is easy to get. And it's so #### fun to camp enemies with it, and my personal favorite, dive bombing.
In defence of beetle, you CAN pick up all the stars dropped by the bosses, making it really fun to use even against them. Also the mirror hat was changed because they changed all the identical hats for the powerups. Also when was mirror nerfed? I really didn't see that, at all... 🤔
It took me a while, but I eventually realized Poison was not just a Water clone. Thank you for acknowledging it. On the other hand, I feel like you slept on Spider. Even if Star Allies is easier than average, things like Soul Melter EX could give you a clue on its power.
You can go down ladders as UFO in Kirby planet robobot. His costume just changes to show his arms and legs so he can climb. Also Yo-yo is my favourite ability as well!
Poor Kermit! Anyways, I fell in love with the Beam ability from Return to Dreamland. It's circular spin attack can hit all enemies around you, those under when you jump, you can leash it out to hurt an enemy in front of you with more range, charge it up for a wicked Kamehameha, and my favorite: the hat is so cute! Plus, it's super form, Flare Beam, is like ESP ON GOD STEROIDS. Who doesn't love that destructive gloriousness?! ;)
That marx glitch is something that happens a lot on emulators, it happened to me and beating it counts as beating both milky way and meta knight's revenge.
I guess I'd add that ESP is crazy OP if you can perform the teleportation move back-and-forth continuously mid-air. It's tricky to get down but you are rewarded with infinite I-frames and solid damage for your efforts.
surprised you didn't mention how ghost is also defeated by downward ladders but gotta say I love jet Kirby it's not the most useful but it's fun, and canceling the boost let's you do a jet burst in front of you for nice damage it's also fun to zip around everywhere in the air also love beetle, it's like fighter, stone and sword were combined together with slight tweaks and given jets hover also shout out to bell it's got an invincible guard, ricocheting range and it's music to my ears
My personal all-time favorite ability has to be suplex. It just has this fun factor to it, picking up nerds and either selling them a slap in the face or jumping in the air just to slam 'em back into the ground. What makes this even better is that when grabbing an enemy, you're completely invunerable! I also love that this ability is (kind of) making a return in the up and coming pizza tower game. With that said, it is only obtainable through the 'ol miniboss buggzy Accessibility: 2/5 Versitility: 3/5 Power: 5/5 Fun: 10/10
Omg i though i was the only human in the world that liked poison and knew how good!. I would've never (almost) defeated the True Arena without it! It's just so good and for some reason i love it and is one of my favourites
I did beat most of Planet Robobot with Archer, but the time i came to the True Arena, i was searching something where i can move a lot easier and still do dmg. Well: Poison is now my Top 1 Favorite Ability in this Game. And no, it's not because of this Video, my 100% Let's Plays was done before this (last Part release: 06.21.2018). But im glad Poison is on this List, otherwise i would wonder if it was tested properly :P Passive dmg can be alot of fun!

That was my thought as well. It certainly was the best boss killer in Squeak Squad.
I think it's hated because you can't control where you go, and that could get you into tricky situations.
But then again he specifically stated that there are some changes to the worst list. So Tornado gets a raise....maybe?
Even if it is hard to control, it doesn't usually matter because it has insane damage and you end up hitting the thing you want to anyway.
