I think Copy exists solely for Tac In multiplayer. would you want to be stuck with whatever P1 gives you, regardless of if you like it or not? no, you want to be able to choose as if you were Kirby himself. So tax was made for that sole purpose. Copy was probably a byproduct because of how the helper system workd
To be fair, "Copy," while admittedly redundant, is VERY useful in KSS & KSSU. Not because you can get Crash (which is REQUIRED to complete The Great Cave Offensive) but because it destroys ALL normal, non-ability-bearing enemies in one hit, and deals damage to all bosses and midbosses! Also, you can defeat Bonkers a whole lot faster by stealing his hammer!
I still don't get why people hate on burning ice cube and say it's worse than sleep. How can a barely useful ability be worse than one that LITERALLY IS DESIGNED TO BE USELESS!
Gibson Schrauben you're not kinda getting the idea why burning cube is hated on. With the Sleep Copy Ability, some people don't mind it there in the Kirby games since A: he looks so cute in that wittle hat of his while sleeping away, and B: even if it isn't useful (I mean, while he's defenseless in that form is an issue) its role in Squeak Squad (which gives the Sleep ability a scroll to make Kirby a non Pokémon version of Jigglypuff; it's true in the Smash series) proves that it can give a little more effort to be more than just for show, whereas to the burning cube, players complain about it because of the fact that you have to time it perfectly or else you die and of its hit box being inconsiderably crappy. I somehow get the feeling that you never played Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards before, right?
Brody Flynn Spring is ment to make Mario (Or Luigi) jump far higher than they could naturally. That in itself isn't the problem. The problem is that it controls like ass.
Avi Haltmann I actually did. Copy was the last ability essence I got (And I had already beaten Milky way Wishes before I got it anyway) and I did just fine without it. anyway
NinjaPotato you mean:Yo, dawg! I heard you like copy abilities. So I gave you a copy ability that copies abilities and can be used to make a helper that copies abilities that can be used to make a helper that copies more abilities!
that would be a cool ability, the yarn ability, where Kirby has the basic whip attacks, and the grab items ability, but by pressing the d-pad or shoulder buttons. he can switch forms which have different negatives and bonuses. like a mini version of the missle tank, slow as hell, cant jump, but can hit hard. basic form might as well be a pillow, but can move and float, plus grab enemies, and items.
You know? It would be interesting and awesome to see Cupid come back with some of Archer's moves. You get archer's powerful and fast shots while being able to fly quickly like Cupid in Amazing Mirror! And then a way to fix Light while keeping its original use is to simply make Kirby glow naturally with it while having a complete ability, as opposed to just turning on the light switch. Any ideas for a moveset for Light? That'd be cool!
So, you mentioned these points in your video, but maybe you didn't take them at their greatest value. The Copy Copy Ability's purpose is to make a helper that acts similarly to Kirby. That's the main reason why it exists, with everything else being a "bonus." However, this ability has become obsolete in other games due to the introduction of Gooey in KDL3, and other Kirbys from Nightmare in Dream Land and onward. TAC, and thereby Copy, may only return if the Helper system is revived (a la Kirby GCN); and, if the helper system were to be revived, some of the game's puzzles may have to revolve around helpers (a la Great Cave Offensive); if a Kirby game with helpers does not have any puzzles in which they would be of use, then another Kirby could easily suffice. Anyway, TAC, and Copy, will likely not return, but now that its primary reason was to make TAC, a player 2 who acts similarly to Kirby, with some bonuses.
Me (a sociopath) reacting to my absolute favorite Copy Ability of all time, Cupid, being on this list: 6:06 "No, wait! Any Ability but that one! Now even Kirby himself is gonna bawl!" (So here's Kirby making the same face I did: ) (For the next minute or so, remains silent and listens to the video while singing Behind These Hazel Eyes inside my head because of how I felt) 7:16 "You show him, lil' Angel Kirby!" *Holds thumb up irl, goes right to looking up Cupid Kirby fanart in another tab, writes and posts this comment, finishes the video, and forgets this all happened*
Kinda funny how Circus is probably my favorite ability in Triple Deluxe yet people despise it so much. (Pun Intended) It may be because I like using it for dodging and attacking. Plus, to me it just feels really good to control. The somersault and fire-hoop are really good for both dodging and attacking at the same time. The balloon has a lot of good references, doesn’t have a good range but if you time it right it does launch away nearby enemies and do a good bit of health to bosses, plus it doesn’t take long to charge. The baton juggle is good for taking out enemies above. Trampoline is kind of hard to target, especially in a small space or place with platforms above you, but it does a really good chunk of damage (and helps a lot when fighting Coily Rattler because of his frustrating hurtbox). The ball is just a tiny bit broken because of it hitting multiple times and hurting enemies that come in contact with the ball while you’re on it. Just jump above a couple of enemies, drop down on it, and enjoy the show. I wish Circus could come back but, seems like its show is over.
About the Bubble ability, I've been able to cheese a lot of Kirby: Squeak Squad's puzzles thanks to it's Big Bubble attack (it goes long distances, can go through walls, and can even be aimed), so it can actually be hilariously satisfying if used in the way the developers didn't intend. I remember a time where it was my favorite Copy Ability, but that position has been passed on to Artist.
I know I'm gonna piss off a lot of people by saying this, but I've never enjoyed Spark. I've just never been good with it. ESP and Tornado are so much better.
JJ Slider As someone who's prefered member of the Elemental trinity is electricity, I dislike Plasma/Spark. It's powerful when used properly, but it has almost no noticable downsides other than "Dash dancing" to boost it's power (And honestly, that's a Minor Nitpick). The way I see, a Risk/Reward system should always be high risk, high reward and low risk, low reward.
***** Personally, I'm Team Fire when it comes to the elements. As you can imagine, I picked Team Valor. I can see why a lot of people like Spark, and I'll fully admit the main reason I don't like it is because I'm not good with it, but it's not for me.
That's Plasma. Before Plasma was infused into Spark, Spark was just the "press B to make a field of electricity around you" attack, and nothing else, not counting fusion abilities from Crystal Shards. Didn't even have the downward and upward bolts that they added in Return to Dreamland.
The defense of Copy being good for getting the Abilities you don't have the Copy Essence for in MWW is actually interesting to me because, apart from the fact that somehow never occured to me before, it could make for a good self-imposed challenge
First, the copy copy ability appears in milky way wishes (a place where you physically CAN'T copy abilities normally), this makes it incredibly useful, that and if you copy a scarfy, you get crash
Shaun boi, I don't know if you know this, but Copy is actually kind of ok and you're a giant butt face. You can use it for player 2 and definitely no one has written this comment to you already. Git gud, friendo
Yeah, about the Light ability and it can be improved... I've worked on an improvement concept. Example: Up+B Light Star (Is what the Light ability originally did, but stays there for five seconds and hurts enemies when they touch it), B=Rainbow Shield (Works like Parasol's Standard move, but Surrounds more of Kirby and reflects projectiles like Mirror).
I don't get why they added circus in Kirby planet robobot but no beetle or bell every one loved beetle and bell so Hal was "huh you don't like circus but like beetle and bell how about we troll you peasants" I don't get that
Copy can also allow you get some abilities that you can't get otherwise not just crash (though that is one). You can also get Cook, Paint (which adds some dialogue in KSSU vs. the tank), and any other ability depending on what the enemy is if you needed to swap in a hurry (or 1 shotting them if they don't have one quicker than inhaling them normally). I think sleep is the worst followed by backdrop (which I didn't even know about until this video), then suplex (since it's basically the same and the controls are awkward, the wheelie enemy by himself (I'm aware wheelie rider with Kirby is OP), the melting ability from Kirby 64 since it's just a really bad ability that gets you hurt more often than hit, then balloon Kirby from Kirby canvas curse (it's hard to control and attacking is awkward though you can kind of get used to how bad it is), then whip Kirby because it's basically yarn Kirby's moves but worse, I can't think of any more abilities that seem bad to me though there are probably other ones. (Also I actually like plasma/spark because it has so many variations of itself making it useful for a lot of different situations.)
There is one and only one thing I can think of that the copy ability ever did for me; I used it once while fighting the chameleon boss and learned the Paint ability exists from scanning his glowing orbs. That's about it, since usually I just avoided them thinking they were just non power giving bullets like the exploding coconuts. Honestly though, that's about it.
I don't really have too many issues with this list. I feel it's a massive improvement over your previous ones. None of your gags overstayed their welcome and with the exception of the obvious "Arrow to the knee" joke, actually fit their segments. However I do have some issues with the Sleep Ability segment. 1: The reason why the Scroll power-up wasn't used in later games or at least in Return to Dreamland. The Arena and True Arena. In both of these, should anyone playing as Kirby want to trade off abilities between Boss fights, They only get to choose 1 of 2 options (and those options are Random). In the True Arena however, You might as well only have one option to pick because the other option is always going to be sleep. If Sleep had the Healing ability that it gets from the ability scroll in Squeak Squad in this case, that would render the Maximum Tamatos they give you for healing completely pointless as with the Exceptions of the Grand doomer and Landia, the first 10 bosses you fight in the True Arena are pretty much pushovers. And if you had to use every one of the Healing items the True Arena gives you before the Final 5, the best argument that I can give is (As much as I hate this Argument) "Git Gud". 2: Sleep is a Joke ability. It was made terrible on purpose. The only Valid argument you had for the Sleep segment is the times it's used as an obstacle to hinder progression (In where the punchline to that joke would be the player that touched the ability).
They could simply remove the healing effect that Sleep gives when you're in The Arena and The True Arena, just like how they removed your ability to get the healing potion with Doctor while in The Arena and The True Arena.
3:58 Haha. Now we do have a use for sleep in the battle royal Kirby game! Oh sleep, I do so love it. Even when I don’t use it in the battle Royale game it’s still funny.
I love that your bits don't outlast their welcome. Too often when I see countdowns from others the jokes last far too long to be anything more than filler.
They could make copy useful if they sort of combined it with what bubble did in squeak squad, with it being inhaling gives you one ability, and if you have a puzzle requiring another you need to hunt, but with copy you have a whole ability pool at your disposal.
Okay, you are officially amazing, if only for that Performapal reference (Tho frankly, Majespecters would be my vote for favorite Pendulum deck). But in all seriousness, I really do like this vid (auto-sub, in fact) and you have some pretty good gags. ^^ Keep it up
I have an idea to improve the top 2 worst abilities on this list. For light, perhaps Kirby glows white, burning enemies in a certain radius around him. He can increase that certain radius by holding the B button (Or whatever button you use to attack.) For the "Copy" Copy Ability, maybe he turns into the enemy he scans and becomes invincible for a certain amount of time, causing you to switch between your enemies. You also get their powers when you transform into them as well.
yes but its purpose is to be useless, its just a joke how can you complain about something being bad, when the whole point of the ability is to be bad. copy is not a joke, its a ability that does what you can already do, it is useless, and its only purpose is to give your partner a second Kirby.
whooping muffin Exactly, but as Chaos said, it does give Crash from Scarfies, something Kirby can't normally do. Copy is terrible, but Metal is the worst one imo.
The worst part about the copy ability for me is that for my play throughs of Milky Way wishes, copy was the only ability I couldn’t find, so it was entirely useless
Fun Fact: Backdrop's Ability Is Kirby's Throw Within The Entire Smash Bros. Series (It's The Worst In Melee, It's Easy To Get Out By Jumping & Can Mash Out Leaving Kirby To Die Alone). (It's So Bad In Melee I Swear).
Copy is meant for Kirby superstar ultra. It becomes the most effective in Milky Way wishes (I think that's correct) where you cannot inhale enemies to get powers, but instead you find "Copy ability Deluxes" which permenantly stay with Kirby, and Kirby can switch between them at any time. Copy is used to fill the gap between Kirby and those lost abilities. use it when you find an enemy with an ability you want but don't have unlocked yet.
My least favorite ability is ball. It does low damage, and is very risky to use because you are not invulnerable in ball form, and most stages have pits, and the ball form is already hard to control.
I noticed you had footage of RWBY in your intro. Can you do a list for it at some point? If not, at least have it in a list. I cuz I would love a little bit more than just Ruby unsheathing her scythe
ChaosKey4013, I rarely find countdown artist's that combine 3 of my favorite video game franchise's...and yes I know digimon did not originate from video games, but I still should've found this channel sooner...Its great.
im pretty sure the copy ability only exists for TAC, and when they started introducing multicolored kirby buddies they no longer required it cause you dont play as helpers anymore
I mean, the copy ability was literally MADE for Tac to exist as a secondary Kirby in multiplayer. That's always what it was intended to be, the ability itself for kirby is just a proxy to get the helper.
You have a lot of good entries on this list. Personally, I would prefer the Copy ability over the Light ability. Copy may be redundant, but it still has its uses. Light has no benefits whatsoever. It does nothing to enemies and it is not that hard to see in the darkened rooms.
I have an idea for a better light ability. What if it temporarily blinds and stuns enemies, leaving them unable to attack Kirby for a short amount of time? If it doesn’t damage anything then at least it could still be useful this way.
I have an ability that you may consider for this list: Paint. Never heard of it? Understandable. Paint Kirby is by far the rarest copy ability in the franchise, period. It can only be found by inhaling certain projectiles from the Heavy Lobster, Giant Chameleon, and Marx boss fights in Kirby Super Star and its respective remake. What does it do? It splatters some paint on the field to maybe paints some things like the bosses themselves. Also, it can only be used once. The problem is, well, it can only be used once (yet doesn't even do as much damage as Crash) and due to the rarity, most bosses are beaten without people even knowing that this ability exist in the first place. So, why should I get rid of my perfectly good copy ability just to paint the Giant Chameleon and Heavy Lobster red?
Number four. Like being invincible but not the low mobility. Stone cutter from 64 is perfect actually increasing your mobility while making it invincible.
Copy as an ability exists for Milky Way Wishes, since you're normally unable to copy enemies in it, and its a "secret" ability in that mode. Other than that, there's a reason tac got demoted to no ability in subsequent games.
Before anyone says that he said that in the video, yeah i know, but given copy's status as redundant and people constantly asking its purpose, it bears answering, even if they know the answer and choose to ignore it. I think copy deserves its #1 spot.
Before I see the final one, I bet the last one is Mic. I mean, WOW, you got a move that does do major damage, and also increases the damage each time you use it, but you only got 3 uses.
actully you can grab any items with whip by just whipping, no holding the button required for items, enemies and their after attack stars on the otherhand you have to hold down the button to grab them
I know how to make the light ability good, so instead of firing up and losing the ability you can just fire it forwards if it hits an enemy it makes a permanent medium sized circle of light if it hits a surface it makes a permanent large sized circle of light and it can be charged for more damage and if it hits an enemy when charged it instead makes a large circle of light
I think sleep has a purpose. I think it was meant to say “not all things in the game are sunshine and flowers, and there are some things you will regret doing.”
“Sleep is a bad ability”
Kirby Battle Royale: Hold my beer
that wasn't released at the time of this video, but even in main games, sleep is so cute.

Tac is broke as hell. In Helper To Hero, he is the best. Everything Else, still great 'cause better Kirby.

Kirby: yay i got the. Fighter abili-
Hal labitories: nope
My theory on Copy:
In Milky Way Wishes, Kirby doesn't have the ability to copy on his own, hence Copy.
It's not a good excuse, but it is an excuse.
Finally someone gets the point. Kinda.
I still don't get why people hate on burning ice cube and say it's worse than sleep. How can a barely useful ability be worse than one that LITERALLY IS DESIGNED TO BE USELESS!
Gibson Schrauben because at least sleep doesn't literally hurt you, just makes you ridiculously vulnerable
Gibson Schrauben you're not kinda getting the idea why burning cube is hated on. With the Sleep Copy Ability, some people don't mind it there in the Kirby games since A: he looks so cute in that wittle hat of his while sleeping away, and B: even if it isn't useful (I mean, while he's defenseless in that form is an issue) its role in Squeak Squad (which gives the Sleep ability a scroll to make Kirby a non Pokémon version of Jigglypuff; it's true in the Smash series) proves that it can give a little more effort to be more than just for show, whereas to the burning cube, players complain about it because of the fact that you have to time it perfectly or else you die and of its hit box being inconsiderably crappy. it's purpose was most likely for p2
The copy ability is like giving Mario a power up to jump.
That's why Spring Mario is so awkward...
Brody Flynn Spring is ment to make Mario (Or Luigi) jump far higher than they could naturally. That in itself isn't the problem. The problem is that it controls like ass.
Squidward Tortillini try playing Milky Way wishes with copy, then you'll thank it
Avi Haltmann I actually did. Copy was the last ability essence I got (And I had already beaten Milky way Wishes before I got it anyway) and I did just fine without it. anyway

I’ll say this before I finish the video.... you better not have Mirror Kirby on this list....
Okay, you are in the clear. I’ll like the video.
I guess you could say that the #2 spot's power is pretty LIGHT on useability.

Whip is basically Kirby's Epic Yarn.
that would be a cool ability, the yarn ability, where Kirby has the basic whip attacks, and the grab items ability, but by pressing the d-pad or shoulder buttons. he can switch forms which have different negatives and bonuses. like a mini version of the missle tank, slow as hell, cant jump, but can hit hard. basic form might as well be a pillow, but can move and float, plus grab enemies, and items.

I guess you could say the light ability doesn’t hold a candle to other abilities.
And that it was not bright idea to make
From my experience, once you know how to use Circus, it actually controls very smoothly and is great for taking down bosses
And solving puzzles, if Fawful’s Minion is of any extra evidence.

Light was implemented better in Kirby 64. The Spark/Bomb combo turns Kirby into a light bulb that can illuminate dark areas, and can damage enemies.

how can you not be good with Spark? It's a cheap ability, just spam the dpad and then boom.

too much! but it is true
3:58 Haha. Now we do have a use for sleep in the battle royal Kirby game! Oh sleep, I do so love it. Even when I don’t use it in the battle Royale game it’s still funny.
AAAANND Is it just me? Or Does your voice kinda' Sound like Fawful's Minion?
I love that your bits don't outlast their welcome. Too often when I see countdowns from others the jokes last far too long to be anything more than filler.
Me 7 minutes ago: *sees light as #2* It's gonna be "the Copy" copy ability.
Me after #1 is revealed: I knew it.
Read like a book...
They could make copy useful if they sort of combined it with what bubble did in squeak squad, with it being inhaling gives you one ability, and if you have a puzzle requiring another you need to hunt, but with copy you have a whole ability pool at your disposal.
This guy, and pengicitis, in my bed. Now.
Okay, you are officially amazing, if only for that Performapal reference (Tho frankly, Majespecters would be my vote for favorite Pendulum deck). But in all seriousness, I really do like this vid (auto-sub, in fact) and you have some pretty good gags. ^^ Keep it up
Aww cmon! Sleep is awesome! It's clearly is the most powerful copy ability!
I kinda wish it had a secondary purpose in a game, maybe one where Kirby sleeps, to switch between worlds
there is a scroll that makes it regenerate a bit of health
water better than sleep
for get the Super Smash Bros ability x)
I hope it has one in Allies like it did in Battle Royale!
I have an idea to improve the top 2 worst abilities on this list.
For light, perhaps Kirby glows white, burning enemies in a certain radius around him. He can increase that certain radius by holding the B button (Or whatever button you use to attack.)
For the "Copy" Copy Ability, maybe he turns into the enemy he scans and becomes invincible for a certain amount of time, causing you to switch between your enemies. You also get their powers when you transform into them as well.
I disagree with 10, 7,5,3 and one and seriously sleep is the worst, ability copy has better use than sleep
yes but its purpose is to be useless, its just a joke how can you complain about something being bad, when the whole point of the ability is to be bad. copy is not a joke, its a ability that does what you can already do, it is useless, and its only purpose is to give your partner a second Kirby.
whooping muffin Exactly, but as Chaos said, it does give Crash from Scarfies, something Kirby can't normally do.
Copy is terrible, but Metal is the worst one imo.
11:14. Is that the God-Slaying Sword in the background?
Sleep Kirby is basically Crash Kirby in a tiny bubble. It's actually kind of fun.
*jigglypuff flashbacks*
This was actually a really good video. Sure there was a few things here or there but nothing to get mad about. Overall, good job ChaosKey
Copy acciuly returned in Planet Robobot as the copy fuction for the robobot armor.
Except that copy ability led to kick ass powers.
stop
Ummmmm... hi, Magolor soul?
go away...
Atomic Greninja Boi df u so angry?
It's been awhile since I've seen one of your countdowns and I must say they don't disappoint one bit
I USED TO BE AN ADVENTURER LIKE YOU BUT THEN I GOT AN ARROW IN THE KNEE
Hey, what's wrong with you, dude!? Also, great grammar there, your English teacher would be proud.
The worst part about the copy ability for me is that for my play throughs of Milky Way wishes, copy was the only ability I couldn’t find, so it was entirely useless
Yo backdrop is fun
Suplex is mor fun u can... wait cant use suplex in ssb!?!?!?
Eficiencia Infinita ... In SSBM it was. LOL XD
7:14
I’m new here, so I assume you weren’t a guard until you got that arrow in the knee?
In Kirby Battle Royale, sleep is used in many attack ways
Fun Fact: Backdrop's Ability Is Kirby's Throw Within The Entire Smash Bros. Series (It's The Worst In Melee, It's Easy To Get Out By Jumping & Can Mash Out Leaving Kirby To Die Alone). (It's So Bad In Melee I Swear).
3:37 well... it's not entirely useless in one game... sleep got a combo attack in kirby: battle royale and is really good if you know how to use it
this has three of some of my favorite abilities. -.-
Which ones?
Circus, metal, bubble.
2:08 that's suplex in kirby star allies
Just found this channel and love the content. Thanks bro :D
My least favorite ability is ball. It does low damage, and is very risky to use because you are not invulnerable in ball form, and most stages have pits, and the ball form is already hard to control.
Literally my first video I've seen of you. So you kinda have a Shoutmon OC?
that's cool.
+ChaosKey4013 Assuming you played KPR, what did you think of Poison?
I noticed you had footage of RWBY in your intro. Can you do a list for it at some point? If not, at least have it in a list. I cuz I would love a little bit more than just Ruby unsheathing her scythe
Sleep is literally the best ability and using copy on Tac is literally the must OP thing ever
Metal ability is godly you better praise it!
In Kirby star allies they brought back drop back but instead of naming it back drop its suplex
I love the Cupid ability in the amazing mirror
I’m actually surprised by Circus. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, it’s my favorite new Triple Deluxe ability ^^
I have an idea for a better light ability. What if it temporarily blinds and stuns enemies, leaving them unable to attack Kirby for a short amount of time? If it doesn’t damage anything then at least it could still be useful this way.
Tak is actually overpowered every time it copies an enemy it instantly heals fully
Man, backdrop is actually a favorite of mine
How do you perform the ground pound in metal?
The fact that the Circus Summersault jumps forward and then back technically makes it a ranged attack.
The copy ability was made for copying abilities in Milky way Wishes in Kirby Super Star, as you couldn't copy naturally in Milky way Wishes.
I'm surprised that the fire/ice combo from Crystal Shards wasn't listed. Seriously, only sleep is worse than that combo.
Finally, someone who is a RUclipsr digimon
Sweet vid bro. Subscriber earned. 💕
Before I see the final one, I bet the last one is Mic. I mean, WOW, you got a move that does do major damage, and also increases the damage each time you use it, but you only got 3 uses.
They also did include Plasma in Kirby Air Ride...
12:12-12:19
What is that music?
It is the Epic Yarn remix of Meta Knight’s boss theme from Super Star.
ChaosKey4013
Oh, thanks
@@ChaosKey4013 I think all the Kirby abilities are good
actully you can grab any items with whip by just whipping, no holding the button required for items, enemies and their after attack stars on the otherhand you have to hold down the button to grab them
9:00 high-pitched daemonic lamp screeching
I know how to make the light ability good, so instead of firing up and losing the ability you can just fire it forwards if it hits an enemy it makes a permanent medium sized circle of light if it hits a surface it makes a permanent large sized circle of light and it can be charged for more damage and if it hits an enemy when charged it instead makes a large circle of light
7:19
YOU SHOT ME IN THE KNEE
Kirby: How?
What's the music u used called in the intro
I think sleep has a purpose. I think it was meant to say “not all things in the game are sunshine and flowers, and there are some things you will regret doing.”
Star Allies improved Plasma by applying the motion controls and aerial attacks, and Suplex by making the lunge damage things it can’t grab.
Is ur picture shout mon from Digimon fusion but when he is the king of the digi world?
7:17, was that unintentional, or a skyrim meme
