What did you do for EVAP wiring? Did you get rid of the fuel level and fuel pressure sensors from the LS harness, and only use the EVAP purge solenoid?

No, the original black box pcm for the 5.7 votec uses the same signals as the LS pcms. They were tied into the LS harness and they read everything like factory. LT1SWAP.COM shows a pin out and schematics to show which wires tie into each other.

@@macsboneyardbuilds I looked at his black box pinouts and it looks like the OBS never had any pin in the pcm connector to accept a fuel level or fuel tank pressure sensor. EVAP purge is the only EVAP-related connection that the 2 harnesses would have in common.
Edit- Mine is a 96, I looked at the pinouts for a 98 and those did actually have fuel level and tank pressure sensors from the factory, which is why you were able to reuse them lol. I guess 96 and 97 didn't. In my case, should I only use the purge solenoid since the fuel level and tank pressure don't really have anything to match with?

That's a good question. I wonder how the pcm knows to purge on the 96/97s? If I figure out an answer, I'll let ya know.
