Unbelievable
Easily used for remote, like Zoom. Ditch the one sleight, selected card placed atop the remainder of the cut pile, and refer to the top/bottom pull as a kind of alternating shuffle. This can then all be done by your spectator.

It is a very nice reveal. I do think the out-jogging needs more justification than simply holding the cards up to your face and telling people you are going to "out-jog". I would not even use the term, as it is awfully insider magician sounding.
Further, many children learn the technique of glimpsing the bottom card, having the chosen card placed on top, and then cutting to "lose" the card. Since the trick, as presented, looks to the spectator like this method is being used, a lot of mystery is taken away. Get some false shuffles in there. Then maybe say you need some "helper cards" as you are doing your reveal setup. Because you are out-jogging ever other card, it can look like you are almost picking them randomly. "Maybe this one....and this one...and these...good."
Still, this reveal is excellent, and could fit into many, many tricks.

Just then I was trying to execute the trick correctly but i faced some difficulties doing it without making mistakes...
Is it my fault or it also depends on whether the cards are smooth or not?
I believe it will be easier with a newer deck so the cards are smoother
I had the same problem but I found out that if you align the cards one by one rather than taking then out in a spread format it will be cleaner with any deck

This is such a creative trick, my friend used to keep blackmailing me with this trick cause they were like, "If you reach 100% I will show you how to do this trick" and kept doing this and every day he was like," If you come to my house you will get another 10%." So later me and my family went on vacation and I brought my cards with me. I kept trying to get that 54321 part but kept failing. Then I had an idea that to get the four after I push the five I should hold the 5 and 3 together, and it worked. Then when I turned on mlt and watched this video I finally figured out how to do it. But still my friend still was saying that I was doing it wrong and if you want to learn it you have to do "some paid magic course" which was obviously a lie. Thanks MLT
