- Hello Guys! And welcome to another studio vlog! In this video I get real about the fact that business is not always sunshine and rainbows, sometimes things just want to be a pain in the butt (cough cough printer) and it can really ruin your week!
I also show you how I set up my Sublimation Printer, with some tips and tricks on how I print my Mugs in my Studio!

Here’s a tip. If you’re using Epson printers with refillable 3rd party ink cartridges don’t update the firmware. Epson wants you to buy their cartridges and a trick they use is updating the firmware which stops the printer from recognising the chip on your 3rd party carts. I use an Epson Artisan 1430 with refillable carts and have switched off auto update. I know exactly what you’ve been through!

Hey everyone just a tip ive heard about the Epsom not reading the cartridges on set up. You have to use the originals to initialise first and then swap them over to the sublimation carts and then clean the heads a few times to flush all the original ink out. First time watching your videos hun and I’m going to binge watch the rest of them now 👍🏻 x

The hardest part is, he's in a deployment right now so I was the only one who's really working on it. I was watching your video cause I was looking for a nice printer and stuffs about sublimation printing. Moreover, at the last part of your video you printed designs on your mugs "papa bear" and "mama bear", that's how we call each other. You are freakin awesome! I bought a heat mug press before I knew I needed a sublimation printer for it! Shocked at the price I bought an epson. I have had it for a yeAr’ I was just too scared to add the inks myself . Watching this video just gave me the confidence to give it a try! A huge THANK YOU! I love you bye!

Jamie Sanders sublimation printers I last checked were around 700. I bought an epson c88 for about 100 but have never bought sublimation inks for it. After seeing this video I’m going to try and rig it with all the injecting of the sub ink.

🙌 I hear ya sistah! So much fun creating stuff, especially today when my Etsy payout got to spend a whole 15 minutes in my bank account before I had to use all of it to order new toners for my printer. Good thing my sticker business isn’t my sole income. I had to do a couple of quick portrait commissions to calm my racing heart and to feel I ended the day on the plus side 💸
I've done a couple of client work (mostly family and friends) and I really really understand that 'stress' and feeling of responsibility. It is stressful. I'm so glad your hectic week is over and you can finally get to relax a bit. The video made me think though of whether it's more effective to manufacture and then sell items as opposed to begin working on sales order only after being placed. So for example I can make 10 boxes or bookmarks or stickers and only sell these to be on the safe side and then put a notice that more will be on the way. I feel it's a little safer than creating orders after sales. What's your take on that? I haven't run a full business yet so you must see sides of it that I don't.
This is something ive been wondering as well!
There's the pb of stocking those items (if you have a lot of items in your shop it could be very difficult ) and also if a client see that there's not what he wants to buy on your shop he might just go buy something similar in another shop :/

Happy to have found you. I also do sublimation but have been doing a lot of embroidery now, and have only been making stickers on my silhouette for the Grand kids. ( never thought of selling them, you have an artistic flair for packaging. Love it)

Shannon Lane Monetize means you can activate the ‘monetize’ button after uploading your video. You then get paid when people click adverts on your page or when people watch the advert. When I started I could monetize when I had like 100 subscribers... now I think you need at least 1K... but I am not sure.
