- Hello Guys! Welcome to DA STUDDDDIOOO - I so enjoyed bringing out guys into my studio today, you have requested that I do a video on how to Make and Design Enamel pins - So here it is! I hope I haven't left anything out - This might not be the 'best or right' way but this is they way I have done it and so far its landed me with some adorable pins. Youll also see me making some little freebie stickers from my etsy as well as some sketches in my sketchbook and procreate!
I hope you enjoyed this video, and even those of you who aren't interested in designing your own enamel pins, I hope this was still fun to see the design process!

Omgoshhhh your youtube videos are literally GOALLLLSSSSSSSSSSS im in love love love - Here im using a canon G7X with the Manfrotto Tripod! That fold into a head held tripoddy thingy! hahahahh I hope this helps wahooooo excited for ryour vlogs ommmggg your a dreammm!
Katnipp Illustrations I just looked up Manfrotto Tripod and they makes dozens of different kinds! Could you be a little more specific, please? Thank you for this video! I took an enameling jewelry class years ago and I hope they’ve found a way to automate the production process because it would take days just to make one cloisonné pin! It involves bending flattened wire, soldering that to a cut-out base, lots of filing (as with all metal work!), then carefully filling in each section with different colored powdered enamels (too much and it will overflow), and kiln-firing and finishing and polishing. I probably forgot a step or two but it was crazy! Now, they probably carve or even 3D print molds or something. If I ever tried it again, I would spend a lot more time designing! I love Lalique’s enameled pin with those iridescent/opalescent enamels that he invented. I also love your pins and all the cute pins that have been cropping up. My daughter has started a collection. Anyway - the tripod! Any more info would be great! Thank you so much! I’m subscribing now!
I love how open you are in sharing your process and even your manufacturer! I feel like most artists/designers on RUclips would keep those things a secret, but this makes you all the more likeable than you already are!

It's something I've always wanted to get into making, but (like I said before) was worried about getting janky pins back AND haven't wanted to overstep and ask other artists all their insider secrets as I know how much time, effort, and money can go into the trial and error of creating products. Bless your pink, glittery, heart! Also, studio vlogs are my absolute favorite things to put on while I'm working in mine and yours instantly became a fav to indulge in. I love that you share everything you do! It’s so helpful. I’ve been reading business boutique and that’s one huge point Christy Wright touches on a lot. That a lot of women are so scared to start their own business because they see everyone else doing similar things and see it as competition vs seeing it as a way to learn and teach each other and uplift other women doing similar things!

Thank you for doing these videos. I love how you explain everything in detail and they're so much fun to watch. I have an Etsy shop i've been working on and really thought i'd have it set to go live awhile ago but a lot more work to put together than i initially thought. I don't know if you will read this but I wanted to thank you. I had squashed my dreams of wanting to do art in favor of being practical. I spent years of feeling depressed and like I lost a part of me. Watching your studio vlogs has affected me deeply, it has reminded me of my love of art and of drawing. I'm really emotional atm and I am super happy to find that part of me again. I hope to get back into being creative and making art and following my dreams. The takeaway is dont lock parts of yourself away because it makes you into a sad shell of yourself.
