As you know I run a E-commerce store Katnipp Illustrations, and my chosen platform of choice is etsy, now how I package and ship my products tends to be a frequently asked question, so I decided to make a video showing you the exact tools and supplies we use!

Your packaging is so cute! A good bubble mailer size for enamel pins (or anything packaged on a business card sized backing) is the A/000. You can also get large letter PIP boxes in C6 size if you want a more sturdy and eco friendly option 👍
Diana Walsh I agree I was going to say too that it’s more eco friendly to use the a/000 bubble mailer for pins and you can fit a good amount in

Is Etsy easy to use like for a business
@@dailylife9640 yes running a shop and posting listings on etsy is pretty easy, however do look up about all the fees they take as you might make a loss
do you have any advice? i see that you’re an army and i wanna start doing enamel pins but i’m thinking about doing simple designs and then working up my way into doing drawings of the members and stuff

Just the encouragement I needed to get!!! I have been spending all day figuring out supplies, shipping materials, shipping costs, etc. for my upcoming sticker shop!!! Although going out the extra mile is extremely important, this is a never ending process and there are so many resources out there and trying to find the best of the best will result in never even starting up!! so thank you Catherine, I find your videos very encouraging and as you said I will get my first product out there and keep on improving with time
Your packaging is adorable but I hope you are all calculating the cost of all of those extras to see if you’re actually making any money. I’ve never received fancy packaging from any company, unless it was a very expensive product. I want you to make money!
Cupcake Cottage Studio I do and it’s usually pennies. Packaging for me costs about $0.30

usually you can buy stuff in bulk for extremely cheap when looking at individual costs of each item. surprisingly prints come very cheap so i highly doubt she’s loosing money ^^

I love this so much, I'm so thankful you talked about the large letter sizing and such in UK because working out what ships in what size was putting me off opening for ages, and I didn't even know those large letter boxes existed so I'll be sure to get some!

I have a suggestion! You might not need it, but if you print the enamel pin backing paper with a tiny dot in the center, you will be able to stick the pin in the center every time!

Thank you for sharing. It's annoying how not a lot of businesses share these behind the scenes workflows. Aside from shipping I've been researching ways on how to handle/process the shipping orders and manage inventory. Not many of those either.
