I like how you showed us this, I'm thinking of making a channel or shop, or both in the future, so this really helps and I'll definitely come back to this video for reference😀 Thank you :)
I'm the States and nowhere close to opening my own online shop, but this was super informative! It's really helpful to see how individual creators do things. I'll probably come back to this as a reference in the future.
GIRL. I have legit spent so much time tonight looking up shop videos (including going back to your sticker tutorials), and I see this! The light at the end of the tunnel ❤️ thank you so much for your dedication and willingness to share!
Thank you so much! In these types of videos, people always tell how they made the products, but it is very useful to know how to package them so that they don't get ruined! I always say this but your videos inspire me a lot for doing art and things, thanks you so much! Wish I could buy something for you one day! Your product design are perfection aaaaa
Holy moly this is so helpful. I use the same cricket paper and laminate it with a clear vinyl laminate to make them more waterproof but I’ve been struggling hardcore with my cricket explore air 2 and have been cutting them all out by hand. Also I know you’re not 100% happy with your pin manufacturers but I hope you share more on that soon because I really want to start offering my designs as pins but all the companies I’ve found seem fairly expensive so I haven’t really moved forward on that. Thanks for being so open with all the products you use and giving away so much helpful info. I’m going to try to look into those same clear plastic bags and mailers. Your designs are always fantastic. Thanks! 💕
Really cool I love youre art so much and I ever wondered how you do all of this. ✨ I think you package design and your prints are so unique like youre style. In the future I plan to print my own art and I want to make stickers. You are one of my biggest inspiration and thanks to you I keep on doing what I love thank you so much !! 😊😇
I continue to find it incredible that nearly every time I have a question about something art-related, you happen to have just posted a video about it that is immensely helpful!
very cool to see the process behind. I don't know if I can ask a video request here but I am so interested in the way you draw 'white' in watercolours, like white buildings animals flowers etc. It find it quite challenging.
Every time I watch this I’m blown away. Beyond informative. Everything anyone could need to know and more about managing an online store. So professional.
Very helpful! I'm thinking of starting my own art store when I get a bigger audience. I'm just wondering how often you went to the post office to send orders when you first started? I was just thinking it wouldn't be worth the time to travel to the post office just to send 1-2 orders. On the other hand, waiting for orders to accumulate before you ship them might upset your customers (assuming it would take weeks/months before you could send their orders)
shayancamille hey! I use a site called pirate ship shipping, it’s free to use and they give you the exact same, if not cheaper shipping price, you purchase the label amps print and attach to the Package! Then you just put it in your mailbox with the flag up, and your postal driver will pick it up! You have access on pirate ship, where you can check delivery status of your packages! I hope that helps!
This video came just in time! I was thinking about opening up my own store but I didn't know where or how to start ;') Your creations are ADORABLE!! Thank you very much for making this video
I used to use the Canon Matte photo paper at 13 x 19 in my Canon Pixma, and I loved it for a long time. I switched to Red River paper because Amazon consistently smashed my Canon Matte paper, and I wanted better customer service. Red River has been absolutely amazing for me, but they're US based, so I'm not sure if shipping is viable for you. Either way, the Canon Matte is lovely, Amazon just smashed the box and ruined the paper for me every time I ordered it from them.
Definitely saving this video bc there's a lot of useful information. I would love to be able to run my own online shop selling my art... I've got a ways to go yet. Seeing stuff like this from you is super inspiring and motivating. ❤ 🤗
I really like seeing your process, it's nice to see how you care about quality, as a customers it's really cool to watch this. I really love your art continue your work! (From a fellow Canadian ^^)
This video was INCREDIBLY helpful. ❤️ I just started an Etsy shop (RachySketches) and am in the process of gathering supplies as well as shipping things! Thank you so much for the video! ☺️
I’m thinking of starting an Etsy soon, so this is going to be very helpful for me! Thank you! Also, your PO Box is in Milton? I’m in Mississauga! You’re closer than I thought :)
This is super helpful thank you so much! I've only been selling originals of my art so far but I've always wanted to get into selling prints and stickers but I never know where or how to start. I'll definitely reference this video when I get started with that!
This is so neat, you are so organized! 😍. I have a question, since you write down the addresses manually and use storenvy, how do you provide a tracking number / how does it alert the custumer thay the product has been sent? I use storenvy myself and I'm still trying to figure out how to send items without storenvy charging for mail.
I mis-read it as 'How I Ruin My Store' and I was like 'oh boy, this is going to be fantastic' until I watch the whole video and was like 'wait this is more like a how I run my shop' and i read title again and r/facepalm myself
This video is such a great reference! I’ve been considering opening a shop but I’m still really unsure because I don’t know if it’d really be worth it. I have 200 followers so I’m not sure I’ll actually be able to sell much. How many followers did you have when you started to sell your art?
Hi love the video, very useful, i just couldn’t catch the name of the site where you did your shop, if you could tell me that would be great thankssss 👀🖤
Hey I love your art and i'll buy something... The price is perfect. im from Brazil and is very difficult to find something with a good price. Thank u so much
Oh I bought that cannon matte paper it was to thick it wouldn't go through my eco tank epson. So I'm going to try using my other printer. But I bought Epson photo paper we will see if that works.
I've recently started selling prints of my art and I'm also in Canada but I've struggled to find good chipboard to support my prints in the mail :( Where did you get yours? Loved the video, has definitely opened my eyes to other artist's ways of shipping!
Are you going to make more pins designs? I think there are cute and I wanna buy them but I think I’ll do it when you do more so I can buy a bunch of different pins
Hay there great vlog really fascinating... was just wonder what your thoughts are on etsy and what made you choose the platform your using? I've just started with etsy and its crap almost zero traffic
Truly inspiring! I have a question... anyone feel free to comment 😊 how do you manage your time between work, socialising, having your own time, study, uni work and having an small online business? It's been a constant desire and drive to start my own business but just thinking about it makes my mind draw a complete blank of how and where to start and how to balance and manage my time☹ if anyone can provide me some tips, advice or experience that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Hope you are having a cheery day😊💖
have customers ever not gotten their packages via your letter mail? Tracking is super expensive so I was curious if shipping the enamel pins through letter mail is safe? Is it easier to fit the bill of a pin rather than track it?
Any paper stock that is uncoated will always be drab and soak up the ink when printing, coated stocks keep the ink closer to the surface when printing giving you more vibrant colors :) *aprintingnerd
Great video, really helpful and really informative! I do have a question though, What made you decide to invest in a cricut rather than ordering stickers from sticker shops? This is what is holding me and my friend back, we want to start a sticker shop in hopes of expanding it to an actual art shop, but we don't know if it's better to invest in a cricut (or handcut) and print everything from home or to order from outside sources? What was the *determining* factor for you owo
I wanted to be able to cut the exact number I need & to make them as I need them. This way I'll never be out of stock of stickers since they are the most popular item in my store!
I'm in school but backpack frog is far more important
Bobby Costa agree

I just watched your first sticker video and I went looking for another. AND I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS YOU AGAIN UNTIL I SAW YOUR FIRST STICKER PACK😊❤

I know this is an old video but a video about manufacturers would be amazing!! I never hear anyone talk about how it works or where to find them :(
Really cool I love youre art so much and I ever wondered how you do all of this. ✨ I think you package design and your prints are so unique like youre style.

This is so helpful, Thankyou! I’m opening my own sticker shop this year, it’s been my dream since I was little. :)
Next time I get paid, i really want to buy all of your enamel pins! I wanna put them on my pencil pouch

I have exactly the same question 🤔
You can find the online labels sticker paper on Amazon. I don't know how Amazon is with Canada but it's free prime shipping I believe to the US.
Thank you soo much for the info and tips you gave it so helpful thank you 😊
This was soooooo useful!!! Thanks Jess!!! 🤗🙌🎉🎊👌💛

Super helpful! Thank you sooo much! Where did you get the paper cutter for your art prints?
Hi love the video, very useful, i just couldn’t catch the name of the site where you did your shop, if you could tell me that would be great thankssss 👀🖤
Thank you so much, this video is very helpful.
Please make a video about how you worked with the manufacturer to get your enamel pins created!!!
What size is the bubble mailer at 12:05 ?
Hey I love your art and i'll buy something... The price is perfect. im from Brazil and is very difficult to find something with a good price.
Thank u so much
Where do you get your supplies for the clear bags and top sealer >.
hi i love your art
where do you get your chipboard?
How do you make your package? Like the title “Backpack Animals” and “ Toads & Frogs” on the top of the package at 4:06 🤔
Thank you for the video, where do you get the chip board? I find it so difficult for some reason to find heavy weight carton....
Oh I bought that cannon matte paper it was to thick it wouldn't go through my eco tank epson. So I'm going to try using my other printer. But I bought Epson photo paper we will see if that works.

who do you use to print your enamel pins
If I try to ship any envelope with a -do not head- on it the post office in my town make me send it as a parcel instead of regular letter mail.

Online Label's Weatherproof matte is my favorite. It has a glossy feel but a matte look
Also why not make your own backing cards?
does anyone know how I can make those circular badge pins?
cute items. Love frogs and backpacking, but everything is sold out 😥
I love the baggie idea so much! But I almost don't want to use it because I don't want to seem like I'm stealing your idea. Thoughts?
Go for it! Everything I do is pretty standard I think - I don't really claim anything as my own idea. :)
