Hello Guys and welcome To another Studio Vlog!
In todays vlog I will be preparing to go On Holiday! Life as a business owner isn't as simple as you first think, I used to think being your own boss would mean getting up and going on holiday when you like (How wrong I was) Instead theres alot of work to be done beforehand!
Today I have to prep my etsy store, design new etsy banners and update all my shipping details, and I have brought you guys along with me!

I love opening sequences where the person walks in because she had to walk in, set up her things down, set up her camera, pick her things back up, walk out, lock up, unlock, walk in, and start her day. It tickles me to think about that. Love you Katnipp!

I just want to let you know how much you have inspired me to start working on my art and my own Etsy store!!! I honestly was so afraid of doing it and if I even could but watching your studio vlogs and how you go about everything has given me the confidence I've needed! I still have a few things I need to get to make it all happen ( A new adapter for my Cintique because WACOM CAN'T GET THEMSELVES TOGETHER.) but it's gonna be amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Ok, so I have a thrift store in Mexico, and things are going so wrong in so many aspects of my life, today I was feeling completely broken inside, with no hope at all, not even about my business that normally is the light of my days, so I sold 2 sweaters online but I was sad , I didn't want to pack them or to do anything basically , but watching your studio vlog inspired me again, you helped me to remember that I love having my own business and that I love my e-commerce , so right now I am packing my order as happy as always, thank you so much !

I'm not sure how Etsy works over there, but when I had an Etsy store in the USA we had the option to print a shipping label with each order provided by Etsy through our mail carrier. It was such a life saver, especially if I finished something at 3am, lol. I would just print the label, put it on the package, and stick it in my mailbox and that was that. Saved me so much time.
Bliss and Desires same. You can even print labels through PayPal. I use endicia, which is like stamps.com, odd if they don’t have something like that in the uk. I process a lot of orders and haven’t been in a post office in years

I hope you have lots of fun! I'd love to see a video on how you go about designing pins (maybe like a beginners process of what you need to know, colour matching etc.)? I'd love to try making pins one day but just don't know where to start or what to do.
I wish you had come to fla starting this week. I live in Orlando and it just started to get cooler the last few days. Disney is hell when it's 90 degrees. Hope you had a wonderful time though. It's great that now you can drop your orders off rather than stand in line, but it would be even better if the postman or woman came to your home to pick up your orders. Make sure they don't offer this where you live because can you imagine the time you would save if you didn't even have to go to the post office? And lord knows as a business owner time is at a premium.
