Kevin, you did a nice job summarizing something I feel is as challenging as taking in all the booths you want to visit during the festival 😆. From the day we spent at Deanston on Friday, to the weekend of GWF and Blind Challenge, it was just a dream come true 🙏. Memories that will last forever my friend - Cheers ❤

Great talk on the GWF, Kevin! Having visited this festival four times now, I totally agree on the positive comments you give. Fantastic to hang out with you and the rest of the barflies as always and to meet new friends. Wow that Ben Nevis sounds amazing! I didn't manage to try that before it was gone, but I'm not complaining. I had my fair share of nice/great/epic drams this weekend :) See you next time!
I'm envious that Drew made it out. It must have been a great experience for him. Hopefully down the road I'll be able to fly out from Arizona to share a dram with you as well.
That idea of going in an hour early and just walking around showing who is displaying is brilliant.
For those who can’t make these, it’s a terrific way of giving them a feel for who’s who at these Festivals. And great for the smaller players and newbies for us to see their names.
I’ve never seen anyone do this before and I’m sure loads would view..
BTW I’m volunteering now to hold the camera for “Kevin’s grid walk”.

Rainy day here in Tucson ( A rarity) so I re-watched this video as I purchased my flight / hotel reservations for November 2023 to spend a week and attend the festival. I'm meeting with Drew next week at a local whisky bar to draw from his experience at GWF this year. Hopefully I can get a ticket for the first session as that sounds like the preferred time slot. Excited to have an opportunity to meet you, Roy and so many others that I've had the pleasure of connecting with online. Kevin, also want to Wish you a safe, happy and healthy New Year. Cheers!
Be great to welcome you to Scotland and to experience this whisky festival it’s the best in Scotland in my opinion and so many other bar flys attend also. If you’re struggling for a first session ticket just reach out to me and I can see if there will be another list this year and I can add you to it. That I am stilly trying to perfect the recipe for… I do know that next year I will have it locked down and the perfect answer. This year I was just showing the two ways on how you can feel on Sunday… going to the pub afterwards was not the right answer 😂
