Been there, in 2016 stood at the same spot behind the bar. Remember the same bartender, Thomas (he hasn't really changed since then). His father, who was also present, kindly gave me a dram of a Ralfy-branded whisky and showed me around the bar and even took a picture of me at the spot where Ralfy is standing. I'll always remember that day.

That's the same Thomas from the OSWAs a week or so ago? Nice. He strikes me as a former rugger, a prop perhaps. Would love to visit Glasgow, the Bon Accord would be the top place I'd want to go. Love the OSWA shelf. Maybe visit Smiddy's too only because Ralfy used to frequent there way back.

Bon Accord (french) kind of means « chaser ». Nice pub name for a chaser topic video. 😊 A good translation would be « Good fit ».
Would love to meet you for a chat, but I live in the Netherlands, and though I'm almost every year in Scotland, I'm mostly in Aberdeenshire, this Christmas I'll be close to Aberdeen. Ah well... who knows, maybe some time in the future, we'll see 🙂

YTS stands for youth training scheme..a system back in the day when employers could get cheap labour from schools.
