I did a 'mostly' Carnivore diet for 8 months and felt pretty good... BUT.... I was having a teaspoon of white sugar 2-3 times a day in my coffees. Just couldn't let go of it... Well recently I decided to get rid of the sugar for good (I used Glycine instead) and after one or two weeks of zero sugar BOOM! I finally experienced what everybody else was talking about... Absolutely unbelievable energy and mental clarity began to flow out of me... It's true what they say. It's the last 5% of letting go of sugars that makes 100% of the difference. I never would have believed it myself if I hadn't tried it. I thought I was doing enough... I feel so bloody good right now that I can hardly believe it! - This Carnivore diet is real folks. But you have to absolutely commit to "NO SUGAR" to experience the full spectrum of what is possible here. And you will be glad you did.
You won't ever want to go back to sugar once you realize how good you can feel... This is life-changelingly real guys. It's how you've always wanted to feel but didn't know you could..... Holy shit! - And stay the hell away from seed-oils as well. They're the true culprits of heart disease; especially in combination with carbs; They're poison! - And don't be afraid of saturated fats. These fats are the life-blood of optimal human health! - We've been lied to and It's time to take responsibility for our own health.

4 year carnivore here. I love cooking and there is SO much variety with meat. Never get bored, try different cuts, try different cooking techniques, try different combos. My current favourite is slow cooked beef short ribs cooked in home made bone broth. When the ribs are done, reduce the cooking liquid to a thick syrup and pour over the ribs. Divine! That technique also works for beef cheeks, lamb shanks, lamb neck and so much more. The cheaper cuts are full of fat and connective tissue, they are incredible for your joints and skin. I also make my own fish stock when I catch fish, throw everything in, especially the skin, and reduce it down slowly. It's great for cooking prawns etc as an alternative to just butter. Good luck everyone, enjoy amazing health!

Im on Omad carnivore and have been for 8 years. Im a woman in perimenopause. Two things Ive learned. Intermittent fasting - like on Omad is much much MUCH better for women than going prolonged periods without food. If you are going to do a waterfast, do it AFTER your period, with a good margin to the last week before your next one. Otherwise your cortisol spikes from the fasting will mess with your hormones more than is good for you. You have to understand that progesteron does not gel well with Cortisol and that we are slightly more insulin resistant in the week leading up to our menses. - Do not waterfast if its driven by a desire to lose weight fast. You are already losing weight fast if you are Carnivore, and going Omad even more so. - Second thing Ive learned, is that it is very important to eat intuitively. If you have berries in your garden and its the season. EAT SOME. Thats natural for human beings. Eat some- not half a pound, but a handful is fine. It will not knock you out of ketosis. Infact, the longer you have been in ketosis, the more flexible metabolically you are likely to be. Oh, and thirdly, get some keto stix or a handheld tester, so you can check your morning ketones, after you've had some berries or some such the day before. Just to verify that your body is doing fine with some added in your diet. - If you are newly starting out. Remember, damage accumulated over years and years, is not healed within a month or 3. You need to commit!

I presented myself doctors he couldn't believe I went from 21 stone to 18 stone in month,,all medically recorded. Diet is the key. Used carnivore diet again in 2014 and lost 5 stone again. Before carnivore I was on Keto for 3 months without any weight loss and before that for years I was working out, doing cardio, walking five miles every day for 90 days straight and eating once a day again without any weight loss. I'm confused...

Give yourself some grace, it takes time. I first went low carb last August with lots of intermittent fasting, then keto after Christmas, then carnivore in March. I still will eat off plan foods kicking myself out of ketosis and struggling again. It's a cycle I'm trying to break out of. Doing the BBBE challenge in April was very eye-opening for me because I could see patterns of when I cheated. I'd cheat when I felt FOMO (fear of missing out) so I started making some keto desserts which weren't BBBE approved, but it kept me from eating carbs so in the end, I stay in ketosis. It's like a muscle, it gets stronger the more you build it.

Hi Kerry, I wanted to share a recipe of something I have been makin'. I'm on an OMAD and STRICTLY carnivore with Monday all day fasting! It's a 3 day - "seafood casserole" kind of creation. Consists of a can of Albacore tuna in spring water, a can of sardines - wild caught in water and a vacuum packed large piece of wild caught alaskan salmon (coho or sockeye) from Trader Joes, all cooked on my outside covered grille. I put the salmon on a foil boat out on the covered grille and while its cookin', I make a foil boat platter with about 20" of foil, folded long way in1/2 and then cup up the outer edge (about an inch) to make a boat. Then scoup in the tuna (after draining water) and the sardines drained- and break up it all and stir it up. After the salmon cooks (about 15 minutes) I scoup it into the mixture and break it all up and stir it in. Then I scoup it all into the foil boat and flatten it out and put a couple scoups of beef tallow (fat) on top for oil. Then back in to the grille for about 10 -15 more minutes. But I also make about 6 local free range raw eggs whipped in a bowl and pour it on top and kind of stir it in. In 10 minutes I have a 3 day casserole that I divide in three and last me for 3 meals (days)! It only comes to about $5 per day to eat! It's awesome!!

I have autoimmune issue, asthma, and skin psoriasis. Already I've noticed several things. I've lost 4 pounds. I'm not hungry in the evening. I'm breathing easier and this is the best I've ever slept. My joints have less pain. I'm thinking more clearly. I have more energy. My sensitivity to smells has greatly increased. As I'm walking thru Chicago on my way to the Metra train, I can smell what the restaurants are cooking. (Donuts smell amazing!) BTW, I watched a RUclips video 1 year ago and decided to stop eating after 6:00pm and It really helped, I lost 22 pounds, but i didn't have much energy. @@Homesteadhow its a tough discussion to keep having with the same people. I remember when I first heard PAul Mason talking about it, and I thought WTF? Almost 2 years on and still finding little improvements and triggers.
It's a new paradigm for many people who don't understand the updated science around the saturated vs PUFAs and heart disease and that cholesterol is not the enemy. The most important measure is the feelgood factor (and the physical changes are undeniable). Keep up the good work. Don't focus on ketosis as the be all end all - it is the state you will be in most of the time, but metabolic flexibility is a good thing. This will allow you to go in and out of ketosis more readily. I don't add carbs in the form of fruit and veg, but may get some from my dairy from time to time (greek yogurt every now and then and hard cheeses). If they cause issues, then avoid, but there are also some great nutrients to come from them (explore K2-4 (from meat) and K2-7 (from aged/ fermented foods)).
      Enjoy the journey mate.

    one question folks:
    - so all we eat is what's on the plate to see, right? No bread at all? A bread stick maybe? Not a single fry? No ice-cream at all?
Or is it like 70% of what we eat? And the rest 30% we can have whatever, but in moderate quantities. Thanks

Just a suggestion, if you suspect any inflammation issues try seeing a Naturopathic or integrative dr who does thermography scans very noninvasive except for the derobing they can tell you what's going on in your body. And if you can get a biometric done for nutritional, etc analysis be good I haven't done the biometrics yet but want too

I lost the sauce and spice.... now naked meat tastes twice as nice... and now I love my steaks..... now I'm a believer ... I'm in love. '

    As adults... nowadays
    We seem to lack discipline.
    Cheating is almost "cute".
Oh, but I only do this, or that...
Otherwise I am following the rules.
    And... society does NOT help.
They seemed ganged up against anyone who decides to follow a discipline.
    So...
Thank you for making these videos and being honest.
I just watched Emma and you yesterday.
How awful she felt after 10 days binging.
    Discipline makes a disciple.
    To be disciples of ketosis.

    Thanks..
I am a few days in.
(I was a vegetarian 2 decades ago, for 6 years.
As a young mom, I was always criticised, and it hurt.
Yet, ironically, when I stopped, those same people told me I was weak and a failure.
So, aged 54, I have 2 decades of arsenal under my belt.
Its going to be interesting rather than an threat when people insult me.
Its almost worth having a note book, flipping it open and saying "what did you just say? I want it down on record".
    ❤😂

How do you ensure you are getting enough electrolytes, from the salt? I use Redmond’s real salt quite generously and I want to get off mostly all supplements either than my beef organs and magnesium. Also, are you just getting Calcium from butter? I have no problem with dairy but like to also not worry about drinking regular milk because of the sugars, carbs. We don’t have any raw milk to purchase where I come from in Flin Flon, MB.
