Can you let me know what notch your caster is pointing to left and right?
A lot of 2500s chew off the outside front passenger straight off the lot.
Inside on my 04.5. Trying to figure it out these tires are too $$$ to not address the problem.
Oh yeah ram content missed it!!
Thuren has alignment specs on their website
Often you can fix a stuck zerk with some heat. I’ve unplugged a few on my tractor by heating it up with a torch just enough to melt the grease wad sticking the ball detent, then push fresh grease through.
I’m going to try that Bob thanks
@@NickMango put vacuum stops on the zerks.. keeps them clean.. they should of mentioned that tire the first time.. you can get bad new tires, i have 2, bounces at any speed.. 500 bucks each..ausie.. i sawp tires around every 3 months..
Good idea 👍
I rub the Thuren specs and my dually still eats the inside edge just barely on my front tires
After the shop looked at it, what did they say was the problem? Was it out of alignment?
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah out of alignment 👍
Camber way off on the right. Based on the way it was driving I bet they left something loose! Major Fu
@@GiantsNinerFan56 I didn't know camber could be adjusted on a solid axle vehicle
@@mikes4352 Yeah same here I have a 02 04.5 both 2500 cummins both solid axle. Maybe the newer trucks are some how setup differently 🤔 IDK?
But he mentioned that something was left un torqued?
My 22' Cummins did the same thing with all factory suspension
My 2020 dually is doing the exact same thing. What did you find out was the cause of the abnormal wear on the outer shoulder of the front passenger tire?
So…no actual tire diagnosis? Seems like A LOT of wear on n all of the tires for just 14k miles…or did I mishear? How often have you rotated them?
FWIW, I have about 20k on my 315/70R17 BFG K02s, and aside from the typical slight vibration around 62 mph they’ve been perfect.
I don’t think 60% tread left on that many miles is bad at all. They’re made for wetter conditions and I’m running 8300lbs. I’m pretty happy with that. But the tire that was worn bad was because it was out of alignment.
Put a good zero on the bad spot grease it then put bad zero on
Good idea
Bad spelling
ZERK FITTING 😆
