In the online application for reimbursement it says a break down of parts plus labor and all that is needed. A picture of it submitted. Was that the case when you did it? And did you just submit the price of the parts or receipt with no labor factored in? And did they just reimburse the part cost? Thanks in advance
Love it! I've only experienced very little death wobble. I'm about to put a rough country level kit on my 14 6.7 and I did the drag link recall witch I dont like!! After watching this I'm just going to buy the synergy drag link and tie rod bar, along with an new adjustable track bar.
You don't like a horrible weld on the drag link? Seriously, the "fix" is pretty bad right now. Unless you got the updated part, which is fine of course. Synergy stuff seems like the way to go!
I know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Brennan Kohen I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Did you have to buy parts, then submit request. I called chrysler they haven't heard of reimbursement for Vo6 drag link recall. But said it's worth a try.
The factory drag link is a joke. They welded mine for the recall so of course I couldn’t get it aligned by anyone except the dealer. The drag link started flopping when the end got worn and my steering was very vague. I ordered the synergy and hoping it is great. Should be find out when I install tomorrow.
You got lucky! All they do now is weld the jamnuts. I'm still having issues, so I'm going to be buying the synergy bar, but out of my own pocket unfortunately
@@chazpages What is the reimbursement process for the drag link? I am going to have to buy a new drag link, since mine is welded and I cannot adjust it to correct my steering wheel?
We're you the guy over on Power Wagon Registry that said FCA reimbursed the drag? My jam is/was tight after installing Thuren springs/Kings/yada on my '16 PW and thought about going Synergy, but kinda question how good their joints really are. I figure if OEM was that bad, Don would have a solution for 14+ which he doesn't.
Just installed my synergy drag bar an tie rod bar. It should have felt like this from the factory, feels like I'm steering a totally different truck now.
If you're planning on keeping the truck a long time I think it is worth it, it does feel tighter an just stronger when steering the truck an you don't have to worry about tie rods for a long time. Plus if you did the drag link recall like I did, every time you need an alignment they cant center your steering wheel anymore from welding the nuts on the factory drag link. I replaced the drag bar an tie rod bar.
Just the drag link, but the process was super easy online. I've only seen one person who had any difficulty, but I had a check in hand about 7-10 days after submission.
I need to get a video put together, but check this out! Log in there and you should be able to find recalls. www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/dashboard/details.html
So I replaced my tie rod and now I need a new steering damper. Had a Belstein dual. Want a single. Can’t find anything in my year though. 2017. Any suggestions?
You used the synergy tie rod? If you bought the steering damper clamp, any damper that works with stock will work with synergy. Throw on a stock one or king and call it a day-reach out to Thuren and they’ll get you set up.
So I recently just got off the phone with FCA's "customer service" in regards to the reimbursement for a replacement product and they said they don't cover anything like that. Just wondering before I go that route if you or anyone has heard of anyone being denied for upgrading the part? FCA's "fix" for this is ridiculous and I really don't want to be going back to the dealer every time I need to get an alignment to have welds removed and then rewelded.
I have not yet as I didn’t want to put the time and money in without confirmation from FCA as it states on the reimbursement form that they are done on a case by case basis.
What year truck is this ? I love the way the drag link is placed and connected especially at the pitman arm. Way better than the way my synergy t style is set up on my 06 3500
Nope! It's pretty straight forward. You don't even need an alignment afterward, but it would probably be a good idea. Not because you'll have messed something up, but just to make sure it's okay. You might need a ball joint remover like this amzn.to/2K4PRjm but I have NO idea if it will fit. The one I had barely worked, but I was able to shove it on enough to get it done. Like I said in the video, I tried beating on it and even jacking it up.
I once had the synergy steering linkage on my 2012 truck, only gave me more problems than it solved so I wound up going back to a factory steering linkage
Charles Pages yeah it does suck, especially after all the rave reviews I’ve read. But when I replaced it with the OE linkage, the driver’s side tie rod was barely hanging on. Also have since been in the process of completely redoing my front end with Thuren’s components
Charles, if you went with a Synergy draglink and tie rod, why did you pick the Thuren adjustable track bar over the Synergy unit? Did you consider the Carli track bar?
Just did my front track bar as well I was real happy with how it felt
Thanks. Still trying to remedy my death wobble. Steering is absolutely horrible. 2009 Ram Power Wagon.
You have to get the fox adjustable steering stabalizer. Whole new truck! Drives with 1 finger now. The adjustment is key. Thanks for the videos.
What exactly did you do? And what parts ,I want to get a dual stabilizer set up but don’t know if this or Carli will work with it
Did you get the single shock or double steer stabilizer?

@Brennan Kohen It worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy:D

Where do you submit the receipt for recall reimbursement?

How'd it go? Just replaced my welded drag link with a factory one for a new alignment.
@@StVickit is very nice. I am doing the front track bar now.

Yeah mine was reimbursed. Synergy seems to do quite well with the other platforms, so it felt like a good move for me.
Who did your alignment? Took it to Firestone and they said they couldnt
Did the alignment shop indicated if the truck was out of spec before they started? How many miles on your PW?
It was out of spec, but they didn't touch it until after I messed with the tie rod. I've got close to 30k. I think my alignment beforehand was okay.
Just installed my synergy drag bar an tie rod bar. It should have felt like this from the factory, feels like I'm steering a totally different truck now.
Zach I’ve been on the fence about getting the kit for a while,
Have you really felt that much of an improvement?

Put a rough country front sway bar on my Ram 2500. Huge improvement in the handling.
Did you need a thicker one?
Does your drag link have some play in it? Mine had a little play in it I don’t know if that normal
What's the procedure, for getting reimbursed by Diamler, for the drag link swap? Mine has the crappy weld job!
Great video man. Did FCA cut you a check for the whole synergy setup or just the draglink?
Just the drag link, but the process was super easy online. I've only seen one person who had any difficulty, but I had a check in hand about 7-10 days after submission.
Do you have a link you can share to get this reimbursement for the drag link? This is the first i heard about this.
I need to get a video put together, but check this out! Log in there and you should be able to find recalls.

What is the dampener looking component connected to the front sway bar on the passenger side
Great video, what year is your truck?
Thanks, it's a 2016
What was the reimbursement for?
Hey great video! Did they also reimburse you for the alignment?
Yes they did!

How did you go about this reimbursement. Kind of going through this some problem and I don't want the dealer welding on my truck
The FCA has a application/recall list you can check out!
@@chazpages Did you install the Drag Link yourself and then get reimbursed by Chrysler? The FCA makes it seem like you need to have a shop install it?

Hey bro I got a 3500 2011 and I started wit the same problem this bar could help me ?
The trackbar would be a great starting point-it certainly won’t hurt anything.
where did you got the u-bolts with that bracket for the damper?
Is it also for 2021 RAM 2500? I just remember the Firestone cannot alignment my 3500 even I took them a copy of Thuren specs.
What year truck is this ? I love the way the drag link is placed and connected especially at the pitman arm. Way better than the way my synergy t style is set up on my 06 3500
this is a 2016, but I think for the 2500 all 09+ would be the same? Or maybe 11+? I don't know lol...
How do I get dodge to pay for the new drag link ?
Tires make a huge difference in DW activity.
hello is the connection at the pitman arm upside down,,i think the nut should be on top.. ??????
From what I read it should be installed bottom up, nut on top.
Need more of these videos

I’ve seen their stuff recommended a few times now, looks like a beefy badass kit for sure.

Where do we find the FCA reimbursement for the drag link?
