    I welded in .250" wall pipe sleeves for the vertical positioning bars on on my 40 ton press break. Stiffened up the whole unit and prevents the bars bending and/or wallowing out the holes. Hope that's helpful.

    One thing I like doing when I'm dealing with stranded wire on outlets like that is I'll quickly tin up the copper so it doesn't get all squished out when tightening and leaving me wonder if it's good enough. Probably unnecessary but it works =D

      Wire ferrules can be helpful for that as well.

    Probably would have been better to use a bulkhead fitting for your gauge mount.

    You shouldn’t weld to hydraulic fittings. It weakens the metal. Otherwise we’ll done.
