My 40 lb lead glass mirror framed in brass & copper hangs so beautifully & so easy too do. The Claw instructions say not to hang w wire, a very short thick wire in back and the only way to hang this mirror is by it's wire so i gave it a shot using (2) 45lb claws it's been hanging over a year now w no problem looks beautiful so i now use & secure all my wall art & plates w The Claw 👏🏻
can it be easily removed? also, after being removed what kind of holes does it leave? I'm in an apt bldg where they won't allow us to hang anything on the walls with a hammer & nail (also not allowed to paint the walls or have air conditioners). Will this leave a noticeable hole?
My frame is heavy laminate and can't screw in eh back. It may go through the photo. It has enough of the frame protruding to hang on a nail. Guessing it is 40 pounds. Any suggestions?

Hi Mathew, Thank you for your question. 3M™ CLAW™ can be used only on the plasterboard. If the concrete walls are sealed/painted you may be able to use our adhesive products such as Scotch-Mount™ Indoor/Outdoor Double-Sided Mounting Squares s.3m.com/232q49
I mean 3m are good but it does says dont hang above bed i mean if you just hammerd Ishmael the nail in there its for eternity.. man has hammerd and nailed for thousands of years u didnt see them sticking wooden wheels together even if the dinosaurs came back that nail would still be in the wall hanging there
The 3m claw is garbage I dont know what type of fairy wall you have that let's this flimsy piece of crap penetrate it but my walls bent the 3m claw like it was nothing. Didn't hit a stud either and tried in multiple spots with 2 different claws... disappointing
This is the best invention of 3M so far. Punching a hole in the walls of a brand new apartment is not what a first time home owner wishes for
Why is Tim my hero all of a sudden?! ❤️

Great video…What brand is that wall level and where can I purchase?
thx
Couldn’t get mine into wall for anything
What if you hit a stud, will it still work. I have a mirror with D rings of each side of the mirror.
Will this work on old horse hair wall

Definitely. Use 3M command strips if you can't make holes.
Makes 2 little slits as holes, very fine. Super easy. You wont notice it when you leave and put a little filler in it, its too small to notice.
Does it work on studs?
best invention!
No doubt!

Yeah google.
Can this be used if I know there is a live wire running behind it? How far in does it go? Could it affect the wire?

I can’t get this on the wall for shit; I should’ve just gotten the hammer and have been done with it.
What about a concrete wall?

Use a hammer
Push a little harder

I’ve hung 4-5 things including a 21 pound mirror today using the claws and had zero issues. They worked perfectly.
Maybe your wall is made of concrete or wood.
@@joselassalle4958 its dry wall brotha just new England dry wall its built tougher
Garbage product. Maybe mine was faulty, but I'm returning mine. Just use heavy duty gorilla tape. Fts
